Imam Askari (peace be upon him): The Imam (peace be upon him), regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: وَ إِذا قِیلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُوا بِما أَنْزَلَ اللهُ [And when it is said to them, Believe in what Allah has revealed], said: Among them (the Jews) are those who say, "I bear witness to the wilayah of Ali (peace be upon him) and I am a lover of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)," while he is lying in this; he supposes that his lie will save him. So it will be said to them: "Soon We shall call Ali (peace be upon him) as a witness to your words, and you, O Aba al-Hasan (peace be upon him), will bear witness and say: Paradise is a witness for our friends and Hell is a witness for our enemies." So towards whichever of them has spoken truthfully, the fragrance and breeze of Paradise blows, carrying him with it and bringing him into the highest chambers, and from the grace of his Lord it places him in his abode of residence — there no fatigue or weariness reaches them. But whichever of them is a liar, the searing wind of the Fire of Hell and the boiling water of Jahannam and its shadow — which is of three parts, giving no shade and availing nothing against the flames — comes towards him; it lifts him up and raises him in the air and casts him into the Fire of Jahannam. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: "And thus you are the divider of Paradise and Hell, saying: This one is for me and this one is for you."
