إِنَّ النَّبِیَّ (صلی الله علیه و آله) أُوتِیَ عِلْمَ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ عِلْمَ الْوَصِیِّینَ وَ عِلْمَ مَا هُوَ کَائِنٌ إِلَی أَنْ تَقُومَ السَّاعَهًُْ ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآیَهًَْ یَقُولُ اللَّهُ لِنَبِیِّهِ (صلی الله علیه و آله) هذا ذِکْرُ مَنْ مَعِیَ وَ ذِکْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِی.
امام علی ( به پیامبر اکرم (علم تمام انبیاء (و علم تمام اوصیاء (را داده‌اند و علم آنچه اتّفاق می‌افتد تا روز قیامت ، بعد این آیه را تلاوت نمود؛ هذا ذِکْرُ مَنْ مَعِیَ وَ ذِکْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِی، منظور پیامبر اکرم (است.
Imam Ali (peace be upon him): To the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) has been given the knowledge of all the prophets (peace be upon them) and the knowledge of all the successors (peace be upon them) and the knowledge of whatever will happen until the Day of Resurrection. Then he recited this verse: هذا ذِکْرُ مَنْ مَعِیَ وَ ذِکْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِی [This is the reminder of those with me and the reminder of those before me] — the one meant is the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).
ઇમામ અલી (અલયહિસ્સલામ): પયગંબરે અકરમ (સલ્લલ્લાહો અલયહે વ આલેહી વસલ્લમ)ને તમામ અંબિયા (અલયહિમુસ્સલામ)નું ઇલ્મ અને તમામ ઔસિયા (અલયહિમુસ્સલામ)નું ઇલ્મ અને કયામતના દિવસ સુધી જે થવાનું છે તેનું ઇલ્મ આપવામાં આવ્યું છે, ત્યાર બાદ આ આયત તિલાવત ફરમાવી; هذا ذِکْرُ مَنْ مَعِیَ وَ ذِکْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِی [આ છે એ લોકોનો ઝિક્ર જે મારી સાથે છે અને એ લોકોનો ઝિક્ર જે મારાથી પહેલા હતા], જેનાથી મુરાદ પયગંબરે અકરમ (સલ્લલ્લાહો અલયહે વ આલેહી વસલ્લમ) છે.
