نَحْنُ أَئِمَّهًُْ الْمُسْلِمِینَ وَ حُجَجُ اللَّهِ عَلَی الْعَالَمِینَ وَ سَادَهًُْ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ قَادَهًُْ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِینَ وَ مَوَالِی الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ نَحْنُ أَمَانُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ کَمَا أَنَّ النُّجُومَ أَمَانٌ لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ وَ نَحْنُ الَّذِینَ بِنَا یُمْسِکُ اللَّهُ السَّماءَ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَی الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَ بِنَا یُمْسِکُ الْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَمِیدَ بِأَهْلِهَا.
امام سجّاد ( ما امام مسلمانان، حجّت های خدا بر عالمیان، سَرور مؤمنان، پیشوای سفیدرویان و مولای اهل‌ایمانیم؛ ما باعث ایمنی اهل‌زمین هستیم، چنانکه ستارگان باعث ایمنی اهل‌آسمانند؛ مائیم کسانی‌که خداوند به‌واسطه‌ی آن‌ها آسمان را نگه می‌دارد تا جز به اجازه‌ی او، بر زمین فرو نیفتد؛ و مائیم کسانی‌که خداوند به‌واسطه‌ی آن‌ها زمین را نگه می‌دارد که اهلش را به لرزه درنیاورد... .
Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him): We are the Imams of the Muslims, the proofs of Allah over the worlds, the masters of the believers, the leaders of the bright-faced ones, and the patrons of the people of faith; we are the safety of the people of the earth, just as the stars are the safety of the people of the heaven; we are the ones through whom Allah holds the heaven back أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَی الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ [from falling upon the earth except by His permission]; and we are the ones through whom Allah holds the earth back so that it does not quake with its inhabitants... .
ઇમામ સજ્જાદ (અલયહિસ્સલામ): અમે મુસલમાનોના ઇમામ, આલમો પર અલ્લાહની હુજ્જતો, મોમિનોના સરદાર, સફેદ ચહેરાવાળાઓના પેશ્વા અને અહલે ઈમાનના મૌલા છીએ; અમે ઝમીનવાળાઓની અમાનનું કારણ છીએ, જેમ સિતારાઓ આસમાનવાળાઓની અમાનનું કારણ છે; અમે તે છીએ કે જેમના થકી અલ્લાહ આસમાનને રોકી રાખે છે أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَی الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ [કે તે તેની ઇજાઝત વગર ઝમીન પર પડી ન જાય]; અને અમે તે છીએ કે જેમના થકી અલ્લાહ ઝમીનને રોકી રાખે છે કે તે પોતાના રહેવાસીઓને હલાવી ન દે... .
