سورة آل عمران
Verse 20 of 200
اگر با تو، به گفتگو و ستيز برخيزند، [با آن‌ها مجادله نكن؛ و] بگو:«من و پيروانم، با تمام وجود در برابر خداوند [و فرمان او]، تسليم شده‌ايم». و به آن‌ها كه اهل كتابند (يهود و نصارى) و عوامان (مشركان) بگو: «آيا شما هم تسليم شده‌ايد»؟ اگر [در برابر فرمان و منطق حق] تسليم شوند، هدايت مى‌يابند؛ و اگر سرپيچى‌كنند، [نگران مباش؛ زيرا] وظيفه‌ی تو، تنها ابلاغ [رسالت] است؛ و خدا نسبت به [اعمال و عقايد] بندگان، بيناست.
But if they dispute with you, say: I have submitted myself entirely to Allah and (so) every one who follows me; and say to those who have been given the Book and the unlearned people: Do you submit yourselves? So if they submit then indeed they follow the right way; and if they turn back, then upon you is only the delivery of the message and Allah sees the servants.
છતાં જો તેઓ તારી સાથે તકરાર કરે તો કહે કે મેં તથા મારી ઇતાઅત કરનારાઓએ અલ્લાહની સામે (તાબેદારીનું) સર જુકાવી દીધું છે; અને એહલે કિતાબ તથા અભણો (કિતાબ વગરના મુશરિકો)ને કહે કે શું તેઓ ઈમાન લાવ્યા? પછી જો તેઓ ઈસ્લામ લઈ આવે તો ખરેજ તેમણે હિદાયત મેળવી, તથા જો તેઓ મોઢું ફેરવી લે તો તારી જવાબદારી તો ફકત પયગામ પહોંચાડવાની છે; અને અલ્લાહ પોતાના બંદાઓથી સારી રીતે વાકેફ છે.
