الْکَافِرُ یَرِثُ نَارَ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُ یَرِثُ جَنَّهًَْ الْکَافِرِ وَ هَذَا کَقَوْلِهِ أُولئِکَ هُمُ الْوارِثُونَ.
ابن‌عبّاس (رحمة الله علیه)- [هر انسان یک جایگاه در بهشت و یک جایگاه در جهنّم دارد] کافر، [سهم] آتش مؤمن را به ارث می‌برد و مؤمن، [سهم] بهشت کافر را به ارث می‌برد و این شرح و مثل این کلام خداست: [آری] آنان وارثانند. ( مؤمنون/۱۰ )
Ibn Abbas (may Allah have mercy on him) — [Every human being has a place in paradise and a place in hell.] The disbeliever inherits the [share of] fire of the believer, and the believer inherits the [share of] paradise of the disbeliever. And this is the explanation and likeness of this word of Allah: [Yes] "those are the inheritors" (al-Mu'minun / 10).
ઇબ્ને અબ્બાસ (રહમતુલ્લાહિ અલયહિ) — [દરેક માણસનું એક સ્થાન બહિશ્તમાં અને એક સ્થાન જહન્નમમાં છે.] કાફિર, મોમિનની આગનો [હિસ્સો] વારસામાં મેળવે છે અને મોમિન, કાફિરની બહિશ્તનો [હિસ્સો] વારસામાં મેળવે છે અને આ અલ્લાહના આ કલામની સમજૂતી અને ઉદાહરણ છે: [હા] તેઓ જ વારસદારો છે. (મોમિનૂન/૧૦)
