سورة الجاثية
Verse 32 of 37
وَ إِذا قيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللهِ حَقٌّ وَ السَّاعَةُ لا رَيْبَ فيها قُلْتُمْ ما نَدْري مَا السَّاعَةُ إِنْ نَظُنُّ إِلاَّ ظَنًّا وَ ما نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنينَ
و هنگامى‌كه گفته مى‌شد: «وعده‌ی خداوند حق است و در قيامت هيچ شكى نيست». شما مى‌گفتيد: «ما نمى‌دانيم قيامت چيست؟ ما تنها گمانى داريم و به هيچ‌وجه [به آن] يقين نداريم».
And when it was said, Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the hour, there is no doubt about it, you said: We do not know what the hour is; we do not think (that it will come to pass) save a passing thought, and we are not at all sure.
અને જયારે કહેવામાં આવ્યું કે અલ્લાહનો વાયદો સાચો છે અને કયામતમાં કોઇ શક નથી ત્યારે તમે કહ્યું કે અમે નથી જાણતા કે કયામત શું છે? અમે તેને એક ગુમાન સમજીએ છીએ; અને અમે તેમાં યકીન નથી રાખતા.
