سورة المائدة
Verse 113 of 120
قالُوا نُريدُ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ مِنْها وَ تَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنا وَ نَعْلَمَ أَنْ قَدْ صَدَقْتَنا وَ نَكُونَ عَلَيْها مِنَ الشّاهِدينَ
گفتند: «[شك نداريم، ولى] مىخواهيم از آن بخوريم، و دلهاى ما [به رسالت تو] مطمئن گردد؛ و بدانيم به ما راست گفتهاى؛ و بر آن، گواه باشيم».
They said: We desire that we should eat of it and that our hearts should be at rest, and that we may know that you have indeed spoken the truth to us and that we may be of the witnesses to it.
તેમણે કહ્યું કે અમે તો એ ચાહીએ છીએ કે તેમાંથી કાંઇ ખાઇએ અને અમારા દિલોને ઇત્મીનાન મળે, અને અમે જાણી લઇએ કે ખરેખર તેં અમને સાચું કહ્યું છે અને અમે તે (મોઅજિઝા)ના ગવાહ બની જઇએ.
