سورة الفجر

Ibn Abbas (may Allah have mercy on him): Al-Fajr is the well-known dawn, and it is the bursting forth of the true dawn and the false dawn.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): Jabir narrated from Imam Ja'far Sadiq (peace be upon him) that he said: "In the words of Allah the Mighty and Majestic: وَ الْفَجْرِ [By the dawn], it is Hazrat al-Qa'im (may Allah hasten his noble relief)."

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him): Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said regarding the interpretation of the verse: وَ الْفَجْرِ وَ لَیالٍ عَشْرٍ [I swear by the daybreak, and the ten nights]: "O Jabir (may Allah have mercy on him), what is meant by وَ الْفَجْرِ [I swear by the daybreak] is my grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family)."
