سورة الحجر
Al Hijr
هيچ پيامبرى به سراغ آن‌ها نمى‌آمد مگر اينكه او را مسخره مى‌كردند.
And there never came an apostle to them but they mocked him.
અને કોઇપણ રસૂલ તેઓની પાસે આવતા ન હતા પરંતુ તેઓ તેમની મશ્કરી કરતા હતા.
ما اينچنين [و از هر طريق ممكن] قرآن را به درون دل‌هاى مجرمان راه مى‌دهيم.
Thus do We make it to enter into the hearts of the guilty;
અને આ રીતે અમે (હુજ્જત પૂરી કરવા માટે ઝિક્રને) મુજરીમોના દિલોમાં રસ્તો આપીએ છીએ.
[امّا با اين حال]، آن‌ها به آن ايمان نمى‌آورند؛ و روش اقوام پيشين نيز چنين بود.
They do not believe in it, and indeed the example of the former people has already passed.
તેઓ તેના (રસૂલ) ઉપર ઇમાન લાવશે નહિ, અગાઊના નાસ્તિકોની પણ આવી જ સુન્નત (રીતભાત) હતી.
و اگر درى از آسمان به روى آنان مى‌گشوديم، و آن‌ها پيوسته در آن بالا مى‌رفتند
And even if We open to them a gateway of heaven, so that they ascend into it all the while,
અને અગર અમે તેમના માટે આસમાનનો એક દરવાજો ઊઘાડી પણ દઇએ, જેથી તેઓ સતત તેના પર ચઢ્યા કરે:
باز مى‌گفتند: «ما چشم‌بندى شده‌ايم؛ بلكه ما قومى سحر شده‌ايم»!
They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people.
તો તેઓ જરૂર કહેશે કે અમારી નઝરબંદી કરી દેવામાં આવી છે, બલ્કે અમારી ઉપર જાદુ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યું છે.
ما در آسمان برج‌هايى قرار داديم؛ و آن را براى بينندگان آراستيم.
And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders.
અને ખરેજ અમોએ આસમાનમાં નક્ષત્રો (તારાના ઝૂમખા) બનાવ્યા અને જોનારાઓ માટે તે (આસમાન)ને સુશોભિત બનાવ્યુ.
و آن را از هر شيطان رانده‌شده‌اى حفظ كرديم.
And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan,
અને અમોએ દરેક હાંકી કાઢેલ શૈતાનથી તેની હિફાઝત કરી છે.
مگر آن‌كس كه استراق سمع كند [و دزدانه گوش فرا دهد] كه «شهابى آشكار» او را تعقيب مى‌كند [و مى‌راند].
But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame.
પછી જો કોઇ (શયતાન) ચોરી છૂપીથી (ફરીશ્તાઓની ગૈબી વાતો) સાંભળવા જાય છે તો ભડકતી આગ તેની પાછળ પડી જાય છે.
زمين را گسترديم؛ و در آن كوه‌هاى استوارى قرار‌داديم؛ و از هرگياه موزون، در آن رويانديم.
And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing.
અને અમોએ ઝમીન પાથરી છે અને તેમાં મોટા મોટા પહાડના લંગર નાખી (ઊભા કરી) દીધા તથા તેમાં દરેક વનસ્પતિ યોગ્ય પ્રમાણમાં ઊગાડી.
و براى شما انواع وسايل زندگى در آن قرار‌داديم؛ همچنين براى كسانى كه شما نمى‌توانيد به آن‌ها روزى دهيد.
And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers.
અને તેમાં તમારા જીવન જરૂરી સાધનો પણ મૂકયા છે અને તેમના માટે પણ કે જેમને તમે રોઝી પહોંચાડતા નથી.
