أمیرالمومنین ( وَ قَدَّرَ الْأَرْزَاقَ فَکَثَّرَهَا وَ قَلَّلَهَا وَ قَسَمَهَا عَلَی الضِّیقِ وَ السَّعَهًِْ، فَعَدَلَ فِیهَا لِیَبْتَلِیَ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِمَیْسُورِهَا وَ مَعْسُورِهَا وَ لِیَخْتَبِرَ بِذَلِکَ الشُّکْرَ وَ الصَّبْرَ مِنْ غَنِیِّهَا وَ فَقِیرِهَا.
امام علی (علیه السلام)- روزی‌ها را مقدّر کرد. سپس آن‌ها را زیاد و کم گردانید، به تنگی و فراخی بخش نمود و در این بخش به دادگری رفتار نمود تا به آسانی دست‌آوردن روزی‌ها و دشواری آن هرکه را بخواهد آزمایش کند و بدین‌واسطه سپاسگزاری را از غنی‌شان و شکیبایی را از نیازمندشان بیازماید.
Imam Ali (peace be upon him): He decreed the sustenances. Then He made them abundant and scarce, and apportioned them between straitness and abundance, and in this apportioning He acted with justice, so that through the ease of obtaining sustenance and its difficulty He might test whomever He wills, and thereby test the gratitude of the rich among them and the patience of the needy among them.
ઇમામ અલી (અલયહિસ્સલામ): રિઝ્કોને મુકર્રર કર્યા. પછી તેમને વધારે અને ઓછા કર્યા, તંગી અને વિશાળતામાં વહેંચ્યા અને આ વહેંચણીમાં ન્યાયપૂર્વક વર્તન કર્યું જેથી રિઝ્ક મેળવવાની સરળતા અને તેની મુશ્કેલી દ્વારા જેને ઇચ્છે તેની કસોટી કરે અને આ રીતે તેમનામાંથી ધનવાનોની શુક્રગુઝારી અને જરૂરતમંદોની ધીરજની કસોટી કરે.
