سورة الشعراء
Ash Shu'ara
پس تقواى الهى پيشه كنيد و مرا اطاعت نماييد.
So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me
માટે તમે અલ્લાહથી ડરો અને મારી ઇતાઅત કરો.
و از [نافرمانى] خدايى بپرهيزيد كه شما را به نعمت‌هايى كه مى‌دانيد يارى كرده.
And be careful of (your duty to) Him Who has given you abundance of what you know.
અને તમે તેનાથી ડરો કે જેણે તમારી મદદ એવી વસ્તુઓ વડે કરી છે કે જે તમે સારી રીતે જાણો છો.
شما را به چهارپايان و نيز پسران [برومند] امداد فرموده.
He has given you abundance of cattle and children
તેણે હયવાનો તથા ઔલાદ વડે તમારી સહાય કરી છે:
و [همچنين] به باغ‌ها و چشمه ها.
And gardens and fountains;
અને બગીચાઓ તથા ઝરણાંઓથી (મદદ કરી છે.)
[اگر كفران كنيد]، من بر شما از عذاب روزى بزرگ مى‌ترسم!
Surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day
બેશક હું તમારા માટે મહાન દિવસના અઝાબથી ડરૂં છું.
[قوم عاد] گفتند: «براى ما تفاوت نمى‌كند، چه ما را اندرز دهى يا ندهى؛ [ما به تو ايمان نمى‌آوريم].
They said: It is the same to us whether you admonish or are not one of the admonishers
તેઓએ કહ્યું કે અમારા માટે બધુ બરાબર છે ચાહે તું અમને નસીહત કર અથવા નસીહત કરનારમાંથી ન હોય:
اين همان روش و اخلاق پيشينيان است.
This is naught but a custom of the ancients;
આ (ડરાવવું અને ધમકાવવું) આગલા લોકોની આદત છે:
و ما هرگز مجازات نخواهيم شد.
And we are not going to be punished.
અને અમારા ઉપર અઝાબ થવાનો નથી.
آنان هود را تكذيب كردند، ما هم نابودشان كرديم؛ و در اين، ماجرا نشانه‌ی روشنى بود؛ ولى بيشتر آنان مؤمن نبودند.
So they gave him the lie, then We destroyed them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.
પછી તેને જૂઠલાવ્યો, જેથી અમોએ તેઓને હલાક કરી નાખ્યા; બેશક એમાં એક નિશાની છે પરંતુ તેઓમાંથી ઘણાંખરા ઇમાન લાવનારા ન હતા.
و به يقين پروردگارِ تو توانا و مهربان است.
And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful.
અને બેશક તારો પરવરદિગાર એ જ છે જે જબરદસ્ત અને રહીમ છે.
