سورة العنكبوت
Verse 33 of 69
وَ لَمَّا أَنْ جاءَتْ رُسُلُنا لُوطاً سي‌ءَ بِهِمْ وَ ضاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعاً وَ قالُوا لا تَخَفْ وَ لا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَ أَهْلَكَ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَكَ كانَتْ مِنَ الْغابِرينَ
و هنگامى‌كه فرستادگان ما به‌سوى لوط آمدند، به علّت [حضور] ايشان ناراحت شد و دستش از [حمايت] آن‌ها كوتاه گرديد. گفتند: «مترس و غم مدار كه ما تو و خانواده‌ات را جز زنت كه از باقى‌ماندگان [در خاكستر آتش] است حتماً مى رهانيم.
And when Our apostles came to Lut he was grieved on account of them, and he felt powerless (to protect) them; and they said: Fear not, nor grieve; surely we will deliver you and your followers, except your wife; she shall be of those who remain behind.
અને જયારે અમારા ફરિશ્તાઓ લૂત પાસે આવ્યા, ત્યારે લૂત તેમને જોઇને પરેશાન અને દિલ તંગ થયા, તેઓએ કહ્યું કે ન તમે ડરો અને ન ગમગીન થાઓ, બેશક અમે તને તથા તારા ઘરવાળાઓને બચાવી લઇશું સિવાય તારી ઔરતના કે જેણી પાછળ રહી જનારાઓમાંથી છે.
