سورة الصافات
As Saffat
اكنون فرمان پروردگارمان بر همه‌ی ما مسلّم شده، و همگى [از عذاب او] مى‌چشيم.
So the sentence of our Lord has come to pass against us: (now) we shall surely taste;
હવે આપણા ઉપર ખુદા(ના અઝાબ)નો વાયદો સાબિત થઇ ગયો છે, અને જરૂર આપણે તે (અઝાબ)નો સ્વાદ ચાખશું.
ما شما را گمراه‌كرديم، زيرا خود گمراه‌بوديم.
So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring.
અમોએ તમને ગુમરાહ કર્યા, કારણ કે અમે પોતે ગુમરાહ હતા.
[آرى] همه‌ی آن‌ها (پيشوايان و پيروان گمراه) در آن روز در عذاب الهى شركت دارند!
So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another.
હકીકતમાં તે દિવસે તેઓ સર્વે અઝાબમાં ભાગીદાર હશે!
ما اين‌گونه با مجرمان رفتار مى‌كنيم!
Surely thus do We deal with the guilty.
બેશક અમે ગુનેહગારો સાથે આ રીતે વર્તાવ કરીએ છીએ!
چراكه وقتى به آن‌ها گفته‌مى‌شد: «معبودى جز خدا وجود ندارد»، تكبّر و سركشى‌مى‌كردند.
Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah;
અને જ્યારે તેમને કહેવામાં આવતું હતું કે અલ્લાહના સિવાય કોઇ ખુદા નથી ત્યારે તેઓ તકબ્બૂર કરતા હતા:
و پيوسته مى‌گفتند: «آيا مامعبودان خود را به خاطر شاعرى ديوانه رها كنيم؟!»
And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet?
અને તેઓ કહેતા હતા કે શું અમે એક દીવાના શાયર ખાતર અમારા ખુદાઓને છોડી દઇશું?
[چنين نيست]، بلكه او حق را آورده و پيامبران [پيشين] را تصديق كرده‌است.
Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles.
જયારે કે તે (નબી) હક લઇને આવ્યા હતા અને તેણે (અગાઊના) નબીઓની સચ્ચાઇને ટેકો આપ્યો છે.
امّا شما [مستبكران كوردل] به طور مسلّم عذاب دردناك را خواهيد چشيد!
Most surely you will taste the painful punishment.
બેશક તમે દર્દનાક અઝાબ ચાખશો.
و جز به آنچه انجام مى‌داديد كيفر داده نمى‌شويد.
And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did.
અને તમને તમારા કાર્યો સિવાયનો બદલો નહી આપવામાં આવે.
جز بندگان خالص شده‌ی خدا[كه از اين كيفرها بركنارند].
Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones.
સિવાય કે જે અલ્લાહના નિખાલસ બંદાઓ છે.
