Verse 48 of 53
و اگر [از آيين تو] روى‌گردان شوند [غمگين مباش]، ما تو را حافظ آنان [و مأمور اجبارشان] قرار نداده‌ايم؛ وظيفه‌ی تو تنها ابلاغ است و هنگامى‌كه ما رحمتى از سوى خود به انسان بچشانيم به آن دلخوش مى‌شود و اگر بلايى به خاطر اعمالى كه انجام داده‌اند به آن‌ها رسد [به ناسپاسى مى‌پردازند، چرا كه] انسان بسيار ناسپاس است.
But if they turn aside, We have not sent you as a watcher over them; on you is only to deliver (the message); and surely when We make man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat; and if an evil afflicts them on account of what their hands have already done, then-surely man is ungrateful.
અને જો તેઓ મોઢુ ફેરવે તો (દુ:ખી ન થા કારણકે) અમોએ તને તેમની દેખરેખ માટે નથી મોકલ્યો, તમારી જવાબદારી ફકત પયગામ પહોંચાડવાની છે, અને અમે જયારે કોઇ ઇન્સાનને અમારી રહેમતની મજા ચખાડીએ છીએ ત્યારે તે ખુશ થઇ જાય છે અને જયારે તેના આમાલના લીધે કંઇ બૂરાઇ પહોંચે છે ત્યારે તે નાશુક્રો બની જાય છે.
