سورة النازعات

Imam Kazim (peace be upon him): فَالْمُدَبِّراتِ أَمْراً [Then those who regulate the affair] — the meaning is the twelve constellations and the seven planets and that which appears by night and by day at the command of Allah the Mighty and Majestic; and after the knowledge of the Quran, there is nothing more noble than the knowledge of the stars, and it is the knowledge of the prophets (peace be upon them) and the successors and the inheritors of the prophets.

Imam Kazim (peace be upon him): Imam Askari (peace be upon him), from his fathers, narrated from Imam Kazim (peace be upon him) that a group of the sincere companions of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) were sitting with him on a moonlit night and said: "O son of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family)! How beautiful is the surface of this sky, and how splendid is the light of these stars and planets!" Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: "You say these words, while the four regulating angels — namely Jibrail, Mikail, Israfil and the Angel of Death — look at the earth and see you and your peers in the various regions of the earth, while the light that shines from you to the heavens and the earth is more beautiful than the light of these stars; and they too say the like of what you say: 'How beautiful is the light of these believers!'"

Ibn Abbas (may Allah have mercy on him): Allah has angels other than the recorders of deeds who write down every leaf of a tree that falls to the ground. So whenever one of you finds himself helpless in a desert, let him call out: "Help me, O servants of Allah!"

Imam Ali (peace be upon him): They are the angels who regulate the affairs of the servants of Allah from one year to the next.

Ali ibn Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him): They are the celestial spheres in which the command of Allah the Exalted takes place. Then through them, the divine decree is carried out in the world.
