عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (علیه السلام) فِی خُطْبَهًٍْ لَهُ یَذْکُرُ فِیهَا حَالَ الْأَئِمَّهًِْ (علیهم السلام) وَ صِفَاتِهِم ... لَمْ یَزَلْ مَرْعِیّاً بِعَیْنِ اللَّهِ یَحْفَظُهُ وَ یَکْلَؤُهُ بِسِتْرِهِ مَطْرُوداً عَنْهُ حَبَائِلُ إِبْلِیسَ وَ جُنُودِهِ مَدْفُوعاً عَنْهُ وُقُوبُ الْغَوَاسِقِ وَ نُفُوثُ کُلِّ فَاسِقٍ.
امام صادق (علیه السلام)- از امام صادق (علیه السلام) در خطبه‌ای که در آن حال امامان (علیهم السلام) و ویژگی‌های آن‌ها را بیان می‌کند [نقل شده است که] بعد از آنکه امام را ذکر کرد، فرمود: «[امام] همیشه زیرنظر خدا محافظت شده و [خداوند] با پرده‌ی خود او را حفظ و نگهداری کرده و دام‌های ابلیس و لشکرش از او دور شده و [شرّ هر موجود شروری که در] تاریکی شب وارد می‌شود و دمیدن هر فاسقی [برای سحر و افسون] از او دور شده است».
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): From Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), in a sermon in which he describes the state of the Imams (peace be upon them) and their qualities, [it is narrated that] after mentioning the Imam, he said: "[The Imam] is always kept under the watchful eye of Allah, and [Allah] preserves and guards him with His veil, and the snares of Iblis and his hosts are driven away from him, and [the evil of every evil being that] enters in the darkness of the night and the blowing of every transgressor [for magic and enchantment] is repelled from him."
ઇમામ સાદિક (અલયહિસ્સલામ): ઇમામ સાદિક (અલયહિસ્સલામ) થી એક ખુત્બામાં કે જેમાં ઇમામો (અલયહિમુસ્સલામ) ની સ્થિતિ અને તેમની વિશેષતાઓ બયાન કરવામાં આવી છે [રિવાયત થયું છે કે] ઇમામનો ઝિક્ર કર્યા પછી ફરમાવ્યું: "[ઇમામ] હંમેશા અલ્લાહની નજર હેઠળ સુરક્ષિત રહે છે અને [અલ્લાહ] પોતાના પરદાથી તેમની હિફાઝત અને દેખરેખ રાખે છે, અને ઇબ્લીસ અને તેના લશ્કરના જાળ તેમનાથી દૂર કરવામાં આવે છે, અને [દરેક શરીર જીવનો શર જે] રાત્રીના અંધકારમાં પ્રવેશે છે અને દરેક ફાસિકનું ફૂંક મારવું [જાદુ અને મંતર માટે] તેમનાથી દૂર કરવામાં આવે છે."
