سورة المؤمنون

ولى اشرافيان [خودخواه] از قوم او كه كافر بودند و ديدار آخرت را تكذيب مىكردند و در زندگى دنيا به آنان ناز و نعمت داده بوديم گفتند: «اين بشرى است مثل شما، از آنچه شما مىخوريد مى خورد و از آنچه مى نوشيد مىنوشد! [پس چگونه مىتواند پيامبر باشد]؟!
And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink.
અને તેની કોમના તે સરદારો કે જેઓ ઇમાન લાવ્યા ન હતા અને આખેરતની મુલાકાતનો ઇન્કાર કરતા હતો, અને અમોએ તેમને આ દુનિયાની ઝિંદગીમાં સુખી બનાવ્યા હતા, તેઓ કહેવા લાગ્યા કે આ તમારા જેવો જ એક બશર (માણસ) છે, જે તમે ખાઓ છો તેમાંથી ખાય છે અને તમે જે કાંઇ પીઓ છો તેમાંથી પીએ છે.
