سورة القصص
Verse 39 of 88
وَ اسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَ جُنُودُهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَ ظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنا لايُرْجَعُونَ
[سرانجام] فرعون ولشكريانش به ناحق در زمين تكبر ورزيدند، و پنداشتند به سوى ما بازگردانده نمى شوند.
And he was unjustly proud in the land, he and his hosts, and they deemed that they would not be brought back to Us.
અને તેણે તથા તેના લશ્કરોએ ઝમીનમાં વિના કારણે ગરૂર (ઘમંડ) કર્યો અને તેમણે એવું ધારી લીધું કે તેઓ અમારી તરફ પાછા ફેરવવામાં આવશે નહિ.
