سورة سبإ
Saba
اگر ببينى هنگامى‌كه فريادشان بلند مى‌شود امّا نمى‌توانند [از عذاب الهى] بگريزند و آن‌ها را از جاى نزديكى [كه انتظارش را ندارند] مى‌گيرند [از درماندگى آن‌ها تعجّب خواهى كرد]!
And could you see when they shall become terrified, but (then) there shall be no escape and they shall be seized upon from a near place
અને જો તુ ત્યારે જોવે કે જ્યારે તેઓ ગભરાએલા હશે અને બચી નહિં શકે, અને નઝદિકની જગ્યાએથી તેમને પકડી લેવામાં આવશે:*
و [درآن‌حال] مى‌گويند: «به حق ايمان آورديم». ولى چگونه مى‌توانند از فاصله‌ی دور به آن دسترسى پيدا كنند؟!
And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place?
અને તેઓ કહેશે કે અમે ઇમાન લઇ આવ્યા પરંતુ દૂરથી ઇમાન સુધી કેવી રીતે પહોંચે ?
درحالى‌كه پيش از اين [كه در نهايت آزادى بودند] به آن كافر شدند و بدون آگاهى و دورا دور، نسبت‌هاى ناروا مى‌دادند.
And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place.
અને તેઓ અગાઉ ઇન્કાર કરી ચૂકયા છે, અને અંધારામાં દૂરથી (તોહમતના) તીર ચલાવતા હતા.
[سرانجام] ميان آن‌ها و خواسته‌هايشان جدايى افكنده شد، همان‌گونه كه پيش از اين با هم‌كيشان آن‌ها رفتار شد، چرا كه آن‌ها [نيز] در شكى توأم با بدگمانى بودند.
And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt.
અને (છેવટે) તેઓ અને તેઓની ચાહત વચ્ચે રૂકાવટ ઊભી કરી દેવામાં આવી જેવી રીતે તેમની પહેલાવાળાઓ સાથે કરવામાં આવ્યુ હતું કારણકે તેઓ બેચેન કરવાવાળા શકમાં હતા.
