سورة المدثر
Al Muddathir
اى جامه‌ی خواب به خود پيچيده [و در بستر آرميده]!
O you who are clothed!
અય કપડું લપેટનાર !
برخيز و انذاركن، [و جهانيان را بيم ده].
Arise and warn,
ઉઠ અને લોકોને ડરાવ:
و پروردگارت را بزرگ بشمار.
And your Lord do magnify,
તથા તારા પરવરદિગારને મહાન જાણ:
و لباست را پاكيزه دار.
And your garments do purify,
તથા તારા લિબાસને સાફ રાખ:
و از پليدى دورى كن.
And uncleanness do shun,
તથા ગંદકીથી દૂર રહે.
و منّت مگذار و عملت را بزرگ مشمار.
And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase,
તથા વધુ મેળવવાની ઉમ્મીદમાં એહસાન ન કર:
و به خاطر پروردگارت شكيبايى‌كن.
And for the sake of your Lord, be patient.
તથા તારા પરવરદિગાર માટે સબ્ર કર:
و [بدانيد] هنگامى‌كه در صور دميده شود.
For when the trumpet is sounded,
પછી જ્યારે સૂર ફૂંકવામાં આવશે:
آن روز، روز سختى است.
That, at that time, shall be a difficult day,
તે દિવસ સખત દિવસ હશે:*
كه براى كافران آسان نيست!
For the unbelievers, anything but easy.
નાસ્તિકો માટે આસાન નથી.
