سورة الشعراء
Ash Shu'ara
و نه دوست گرم و پر محبّتى.
Nor a true friend;
અને ન કોઇ પાકો દોસ્ત.
اى كاش بار ديگر باز مى‌گشتيم تا از مؤمنان باشيم!
But if we could but once return, we would be of the believers.
પણ જો અમને એકવાર (દુનિયામાં) પાછું જવાનું મળે તો અમે જરૂર મોઅમીનોમાંથી થઇ જશું.
به يقين در اين ماجرا، نشانه‌ی [و عبرتى] است؛ ولى بيشتر آنان مؤمن نبودند.
Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.
બેશક આમાં પણ અમારી એક નિશાની છે પરંતુ તેમાંથી ઘણાંખરા ઇમાન લાવનાર ન હતા.
و پروردگار تو توانا و مهربان است.
And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful.
અને બેશક તારો પરવરદિગાર જબરસ્ત અને રહીમ છે.
قوم نوح پيامبران را تكذيب كردند.
The people of Nuh rejected the apostles.
અને નૂહની કોમે પયગંબરોને જૂઠલાવ્યા.
هنگامى‌كه برادرشان نوح به آنان گفت: «آيا تقوا پيشه نمى‌كنيد؟!
When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)?
જે વખતે તેમના ભાઇ નૂહે તેમને કહ્યું કે શા માટે તમે (નાફરમાની કરવાથી) બચતા નથી?
به يقين من براى شما پيامبرى امين هستم.
Surely I am a faithful apostle to you;
બેશક ! હું તમારા માટે એક અમાનતદાર પયગંબર છું :
تقواى الهى پيشه كنيد و مرا اطاعت نماييد.
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me
માટે ખુદાથી ડરો અને મારી ઇતાઅત કરો.
من براى اين [دعوت]، هيچ پاداشى از شما نمى‌طلبم؛ پاداش من تنها بر پروردگار جهانيان است.
And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds:
અને હું તમારી પાસે આ પયગામ પહોંચાડવાનો કંઇ બદલો માંગતો નથી, મારો બદલો આલમીનના પાલનહારના શિરે છે.
پس، تقواى الهى پيشه كنيد و مرا اطاعت نماييد.
So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me.
માટે તમે અલ્લાહથી ડરો અને મારી ઇતાઅત કરો.
