سورة القصص
Verse 47 of 88
وَ لَوْ لَا أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةُ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوْ لَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَاتِكَ وَ نَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِين
هرگاه [پيش از فرستادن پيامبرى] مجازات و مصيبتى بر اثر اعمالشان به آنان مى‌رسيد، مى‌گفتند: «پروردگارا! چرا پيامبرى براى ما نفرستادى تا از آيات تو پيروى كنيم و از مؤمنان باشيم؟!»
And were it not that there should befall them a disaster for what their hands have sent before, then they should say: Our Lord! why didst Thou not send to us an apostle so that we should have followed Thy communications and been of the believers!
અને જો એવુ ન હોત કે જયારે તેમના ઉપર અગાઉના કામોને લીધે કોઇ મુસીબત આવી પડે ત્યારે તેઓ કહે કે પરવરદિગાર તુએ અમારી તરફ કોઇ રસૂલને કેમ ન મોકલ્યો કે અમે તારી નિશાનીઓની તાબેદારી કરી અને ઇમાન લાવનારાઓમાંના થઇ જાત.
