سورة لقمان
Luqman
صلی الله علیه و آله) و هنگامى‌كه به آنان گفته شود: «از آنچه خدا نازل كرده پيروى كنيد». مى‌گويند: «نه، بلكه ما از چيزى پيروى مى‌كنيم كه پدران خود را بر آن يافتيم». آيا حتّى اگر شيطان آنان را دعوت به عذاب آتش فروزان كند [باز هم تبعيّت مى‌كنند]؟!
And when it is said to them: Follow what Allah has revealed, they say: Nay, we follow that on which we found our fathers. What! though the Shaitan calls them to the chastisement of the burning fire!
અને જયારે તેમને કહેવામાં આવે છે કે જે કંઇ અલ્લાહે નાઝિલ કર્યુ છે તેની તાબેદારી કરો. ત્યારે તેઓ કહે છે કે અમે ફકત તેની તાબેદારી કરીએ છીએ જેના પર અમારા બાપદાદાઓને પામ્યા છે, પછી ભલેને શયતાન તેઓને (બાપદાદાઓને) ભડકતી જ્વાળાઓની સજા તરફ બોલાવતો હોય?!
صلی الله علیه و آله) كسى كه روى خود را تسليم خدا كند در‌حالى‌كه نيكوكار باشد، به محكم‌ترين دستگيره چنگ زده [و به مطمئن‌ترين تكيه‌گاه، تكيه كرده است]؛ و عاقبت همه‌ی امور به‌سوى خداست.
And whoever submits himself wholly to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others), he indeed has taken hold of the firmest thing upon which one can lay hold; and Allah's is the end of affairs.
અને જે કોઇ પોતાના ચહેરાને અલ્લાહને સમર્પિત કરે એવી હાલતમાં કે નેકી કરાવનાર હોય બસ હકીકતમાં તેણે મજબૂત દોરી (રસ્સી)ને પકડી લીધી છે* અને તમામ કાર્યોનો અંજામ અલ્લાહની તરફ છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) و كسى كه كافر شود، كفر او تو را غمگين نسازد؛ بازگشت همه‌ی آنان به‌سوى ماست و ما آن‌ها را از اعمالى كه انجام داده‌اند [و نتايج شوم آن] باخبر خواهيم ساخت؛ خداوند به آنچه درون سينه‌هاست آگاه است.
And whoever disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you; to Us is their return, then will We inform them of what they did surely Allah is the Knower of what is in the breasts.
અને જે કોઇ ઇન્કાર કરે (તો પછી) તેનો ઇન્કાર તને ગમગીન ન કરે (કારણકે) તેઓનુ પાછુ ફરવુ અમારી તરફ જ છે પછી તેઓએ જે કાંઇ કર્યુ તેની ખબર આપીશુ અને હકીકતમાં અલ્લાહ દિલોના ભેદોને પણ જાણે છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) ما اندكى آن‌ها را [از متاع دنيا] بهره‌مند مى‌كنيم، سپس آن‌ها را به تحمّل عذاب شديدى وادار مى‌سازيم!
We give them to enjoy a little, then will We drive them to a severe chastisement.
તેમને અમે થોડાક દિવસ (દુન્યવી નેઅમતનો) ફાયદો આપશું, પછી તેમને સખ્ત અઝાબ તરફ ખેંચી લાવીશું.
صلی الله علیه و آله) و هرگاه از آنان سؤال كنى: «چه كسى آسمان‌ها و زمين را آفريده است»؟ به يقين مى‌گويند: «خداوند يگانه»، بگو: «الحمدللّه [كه خود شما معترفيد]!» ولى بيشتر آنان نمى‌دانند.
And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will certainly say: Allah. Say: (All) praise is due to Allah; nay! most of them do not know.
અને જો તું તેમને સવાલ કરશે કે આસમાનો તથા ઝમીનને કોણે પેદા કર્યા છે? તો તેઓ કહેશે કે અલ્લાહે; તું કહે કે દરેક વખાણ અલ્લાહ માટે જ છે; પરંતુ તેઓમાં મોટા ભાગના જાણતા નથી.
صلی الله علیه و آله) آنچه در آسمان‌ها و زمين است فقط از آن خداست، به يقين خداوند بى‌نياز و ستوده است.
What is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's; surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised.
આસમાનો તથા ઝમીનમાં જે કાંઇ છે તે બધું અલ્લાહનું જ છે; બેશક અલ્લાહ બેનિયાઝ અને વખાણને લાયક છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) و اگر همه‌ی درختان روى زمين قلم شود، و دريا براى آن مركّب گردد، و هفت دريا به آن افزوده شود، [اين‌ها همه تمام مى‌شود ولى] كلمات خدا پايان نمى‌گيرد؛ خداوند توانا و حكيم است.
And were every tree that is in the earth (made into) pens and the sea (to supply it with ink), with seven more seas to increase it, the words of Allah would not come to an end; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.
અગર જો ઝમીનમાં જેટલા વૃક્ષ છે તે કલમ થઇ જાય અને (સર્વે) સમુદ્રો શાહી બની જાય ત્યારબાદ બીજા સાત સમુદ્રો તેમાં જોડાય જાય તો પણ અલ્લાહના કલેમાત (શબ્દો) પૂરાં નહી થાય; બેશક અલ્લાહ જબરદસ્ત અને હિકમતવાળો છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) آفرينش و برانگيختن [و زندگى دوباره] همه‌ی شما [براى خداوند] همانند يك فرد بيش نيست؛ خداوند شنوا و بيناست.
Neither your creation nor your raising is anything but as a single soul; surely Allah is Hearing, Seeing.
તમારી ખિલ્કત અને તમારૂં ફરી જીવતા થવું એક જ નફસ(ને પેદા કરીને સજીવન કરવા) જેવું છે અને અલ્લાહ બેશક સાંભળનાર અને જોનાર છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) آيا نديدى كه خداوند شب را در روز، و روز را در شب داخل مى‌كند، و خورشيد و ماه را مسخّر ساخته و هر‌كدام تا سر‌آمد معيّنى به حركت خود ادامه مى‌دهند؟! خداوند به آنچه انجام مى‌دهيد آگاه است.
Do you not see that Allah makes the night to enter into the day, and He makes the day to enter into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon subservient (to you); each pursues its course till an appointed time; and that Allah is Aware of what you do?
શું તેં નથી જોયું કે અલ્લાહ રાતને દિવસમાં અને દિવસને રાતમાં દાખલ કરે છે અને સૂરજ તથા ચાંદને તેણે તાબે કરી દીધા છે કે જે દરેક નક્કી મુદ્દત સુધી ચાલતા રહેશે?! અને અલ્લાહ તમારા બધા કાર્યોને જાણે છે.
صلی الله علیه و آله) اين به خاطر آن است كه [بدانيد] خداوند حق است، و آنچه غير از او مى‌خوانند باطل است، و خداوند بلند مرتبه و بزرگ است.
This is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon besides Him is the falsehood, and that Allah is the High, the Great.
આ એ માટે છે (કે જાણી લો) કે અલ્લાહ હક છે અને તેના સિવાય જેને તેઓ (ખુદા તરીકે) પોકારે છે તે બાતિલ છે અને અલ્લાહ બુલંદ અને મહાન છે.
