سورة الصافات
As Saffat
سوگند به صف‌كشيدگان (فرشتگان منظّم و گوش به فرمان
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks
કસમ છે (વ્યવસ્થિત રીતે) સફમાં ઊભા રહેનારાઓની:
و به نهى‌كنندگان (فرشتگان بازدارنده
Then those who drive away with reproof,
અને મુકમ્મલ રીતે મનાઇ કરનારાઓની કસમ :
و تلاوت كنندگان [پياپى] آيات الهی
Then those who recite, being mindful,
અને નિરંતર આયાતે ઇલાહીની તિલાવત કરનારાઓની કસમ :
كه به يقين معبود شما يگانه است.
Most surely your Allah is One:
બેશક તમારો ખુદા એક જ છે :
پروردگارآسمان‌ها و زمين و آنچه ميان آن‌هاست، و پروردگار مشرق‌ها.
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts.
(જે) આસમાનો તથા ઝમીન અને જે કાંઇ તેમની વચ્ચે છે તેનો પાલનહાર છે, અને મશરિક (પૂર્વ) દિશાઓનો રબ છે.
ما آسمان نزديك (پايين) را با زيور ستارگان آراستيم.
Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars,
ખરેજ અમોએ આ દુનિયાના આસમાનને સિતારાઓથી ઝીનત આપી છે :
تا آن را از هر شيطان متمرّدى حفظ كنيم.
And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan.
જેથી તેને દરેક સરકશ શેતાનથી મહેફૂઝ રાખીએ.
آن‌ها نمى‌توانند به سخنان فرشتگان عالم بالا گوش فرا دهند، [و هرگاه چنين كنند] از هر سو هدف قرار مى‌گيرند.
They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side,
હવે શયતાનો આલમે બાલા (આસમાન)ની વાતોને સાંભળી નહી શકે અને તેઓને દરેક દિશાથી મારવામાં આવશે :
آن‌ها به شدّت به عقب رانده مى‌شوند؛ و براى آنان مجازاتى دائم است.
Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement,
જેથી તેમને હાંકી કાઢવામાં આવે અને તેમના માટે હંમેશા રહેનારો અઝાબ છે :
مگر آن‌ها كه در لحظه‌اى كوتاه [به آسمان نزديك شوند و] استراق سمع كنند، كه «شهابى ثاقب» آن‌ها را تعقيب مى‌كند.
Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame.
સિવાય કે જે કંઇક થોડીક વાત સાંભળી લે તો પછી તેની પાછળ આગની જવાળા લાગી જાય છે.
