سورة الأحقاف
Al Ahqaf
كافران درباره‌ی مؤمنان چنين گفتند: «اگر [اسلام] چيز خوبى بود، هرگز آن‌ها در پذيرش آن بر ما پيشى نمى‌گرفتند». و چون خودشان به‌وسيله‌ی آن هدايت نشدند مى‌گويند: «اين يك دروغ [و افسانه‌اى] قديمى است».
And those who disbelieve say concerning those who believe: If it had been a good, they would not have gone ahead of us therein. And as they do not seek to be rightly directed thereby, they say: It is an old lie.
અને નાસ્તિકો મોમીનો વિશે કહે છે કે અગર આ (દીન) બહેતર હોત તો આ લોકો (મોમીનો) અમારી પહેલા તેના તરફ ન દોડતા; કારણકે તેઓની હિદાયત નથી થઇ માટે જલ્દી તેઓ કહેશે કે આ જૂની વાર્તાઓ છે.
و پيش از آن، كتاب موسى كه پيشوا و رحمت بود [نشانه‌هاى قرآن رابيان كرده]، و اين كتابى است كه هماهنگ با نشانه‌هاى آن (تورات) است در‌حالى‌كه به زبان عربى و فصيح و گوياست، تا ستمكاران را انذار كند و براى نيكوكاران بشارتى باشد.
And before it the Book of Musa was a guide and a mercy: and this is a Book verifying (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good.
અને તેની પહેલાં મૂસાની કિતાબ હતી જે રાહનુમા અને રહેમત હતી, અને આ કિતાબ અરબી ભાષામાં અને તેને ટેકો આપનારી છે, જેથી ઝાલિમોને (અલ્લાહના અઝાબથી) ડરાવે અને નેક લોકો માટે ખુશખબર હોય.
كسانى كه گفتند: «پروردگار ما «خداوند يگانه» است»، سپس استقامت كردند، نه ترسى بر آنان است و نه اندوهگين مى‌شوند.
Surely those who say, Our Lord is Allah, then they continue on the right way, they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
બેશક જેઓએ અલ્લાહને પોતાનો પરવરદિગાર કહ્યો અને તેના પર સાબિત કદમ રહ્યા, તેમના માટે ન કોઇ ડર હશે અને ન તેઓ ગમગીન થશે.
آن‌ها اهل بهشتند و جاودانه در آن مى‌مانند؛ اين پاداش اعمالى است كه انجام مى‌دادند.
These are the dwellers of the garden, abiding therein: a reward for what they did.
એ જ લોકો જન્નતી છે, જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેશે, અને એ જ તેમના કાર્યોનો બદલો છે.
ما به انسان توصيّه كرديم كه به پدر و مادرش نيكى كند، مادرش او را با ناراحتى حمل مى‌كند و با ناراحتى وضع حمل مى‌نمايد؛ و دوران حمل و از شير بازگرفتنش سى ماه است؛ تا زمانى‌كه به نيرومندى و كمال خود بالغ گردد و به چهل سالگى برسد مى‌گويد: «پروردگارا! مرا توفيق ده تا شكر نعمتى را كه به من و پدر و مادرم دادى به جا آورم و كار شايسته‌اى انجام دهم كه از آن خشنود باشى، و فرزندان مرا صالح گردان؛ من به‌سوى تو باز گشتم [و توبه كردم]، و من از مسلمانانم».
And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases Thee and do good to me in respect of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit.
અને અમોએ ઇન્સાનને તેના વાલેદૈન સાથે નેકી કરવાની સિફારિશ કરી; તેની વાલેદાએ તેને તકલીફ વેઠી પેટમાં રાખ્યો, અને ઘણી તકલીફ સાથે તેને જન્મ આપ્યો; અને તેના હમલ અને દૂધ છોડાવવાની મુદ્દત ત્રીસ મહિના છે; ત્યાં સુધી કે તે શક્તિશાળી થઇ ગયો અને તેની વય ચાલીસ વર્ષની થઇ, ત્યારે તેણે કહ્યુ કે પરવરદિગાર! મને મદદ કર કે હું તારી આ નેઅમતનો શુક્ર અદા કરૂં, જે તે મને અને મારા વાલેદૈનને આપી છે, તથા એવું સારૂં કામ કરૂં કે તું રાજી થઇ જા, અને મારી તથા મારી ઓલાદની ઇસ્લાહ કર, બેશક હું તારી તરફ રજૂ થાઉં છું, અને તારા ઇતાઅત ગુઝારોમાંથી છું.
آن‌ها كسانى هستند كه ما بهترين اعمالشان را قبول مى‌كنيم و از گناهانشان مى‌گذريم و در ميان بهشتيان جاى دارند؛ اين وعده‌ی راستى است كه وعده داده مى‌شدند.
These are they from whom We accept the best of what they have done and pass over their evil deeds, among the dwellers of the garden; the promise of truth which they were promised.
આ લોકોના નેક આમાલને અમે કબૂલ કરીએ છીએ, અને તેમની બૂરાઇઓને અમે દરગુજર કરીએ છીએ, તેઓ જન્નતવાસીઓમાં છે, અને આ સાચો વાયદો છે જે તેમની સાથે કરવામાં આવતો હતો.
و كسى كه به پدر و مادرش مى‌گويد: «اُف بر شما! آيا به من وعده مى‌‌دهيد كه من [روز قيامت] مبعوث مى‌شوم؟! در‌حالى‌كه پيش از من اقوام زيادى بودند [و هرگز مبعوث نشدند]! و آن دو [فرياد مى‌كشند و] خدا را به يارى مى‌طلبند كه: واى بر تو، ايمان بياور كه وعده‌ی خدا حق است»! امّا او پيوسته مى‌گويد: «اين چيزى جز افسانه‌هاى پيشينيان نيست».
And he who says to his parents: Fie on you! do you threaten me that I shall be brought forth when generations have already passed away before me? And they both call for Allah's aid: Woe to you! believe, surely the promise of Allah is true. But he says: This is nothing but stories of the ancients.
અને જેણે તેના વાલેદૈનને કહ્યું કે તમારા માટે અફસોસ છે. તમે મને એ વાતથી ડરાવો છો કે મને ફરીથી ઊભો કરવામાં આવશે?! જો કે મારી પહેલા ઘણી કોમોં પસાર થઇ ચૂકી છે અને તે બંને અલ્લાહની મદદ માંગતા (અને તેને કહેતા) કે અફસોસ છે તારી હાલત પર! તું ઇમાન લઇ આવ, ખુદાનો વાયદો સાચો છે, પરંતુ તે કહેતો કે આ ફકત અગાઉના લોકોના કિસ્સાઓ છે.
آن‌ها كسانى هستند كه فرمان عذاب درباره‌ی آنان همراه اقوام [كافرى] كه پيش از آنان از جنّ و انس بودند تحقّق يافته، به يقين آنان زيانكار بودند.
These are they against whom the word has proved true among nations of the jinn and the men that have already passed away before them; surely they are losers.
આ લોકો અને તેમની અગાઉ થઇ ગએલી જિન્નાતો અને ઇન્સાનોની ઉમ્મતો ઊપર અઝાબનો વાયદો સાબિત થઇ ચૂક્યો છે; બેશક તેઓ નુકસાન પામનારા છે.
و براى هركدام درجاتى است برطبق اعمالى كه انجام داده‌اند، تا خداوند كارهايشان را بى كم و كاست به آنان بازپس دهد؛ و آن‌ها مورد ستم واقع نمى‌شوند.
And for all are degrees according to what they did, and that He may pay them back fully their deeds and they shall not be wronged.
અને દરેક માટે તેમના આમાલ મુજબ દરજ્જા છે, જેથી અલ્લાહ તેમના આમાલનો પૂરેપૂરો બદલો આપે અને તેમના પર ઝુલ્મ કરવામાં નહિં આવે.
آن روز كه كافران را بر آتش عرضه مى‌كنند [به آن‌ها گفته مى‌شود]: از نعمت‌هاى پاكيزه در زندگى دنياى خود استفاده كرديد و از آن بهره گرفتيد؛ امّا امروز عذاب ذلّت‌بار به خاطر استكبارى كه در زمين به ناحق داشتيد و به خاطر گناهانى كه انجام مى‌داديد، جزاى شما خواهد بود.
And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: You did away with your good things in your life of the world and you enjoyed them for a while, so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.
અને જે દિવસે નાસ્તિકોને જહન્નમની સામે લાવવામાં આવશે, કે તમોએ દુનિયાના જીવનમાં પાકીઝા નેઅમતોનો ઊપયોગ કર્યો અને તેનો ફાયદો ઊપાડ્યો પરંતુ આજે ઝિલ્લતના અઝાબની સજા દેવામાં આવશે, કારણકે તમે ઝમીનમાં વિના કારણે અકડતા (ગરૂર કરતા) હતા, અને તમારા પરવરદિગારના હુકમોની નાફરમાની કરતા હતા.
