سورة المعارج
Al Ma'arij
و هر‌كس جز اين‌ها را طلب كند، متجاوز است.
But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits--
પછી જે કોઇ તે સિવાય તલબ કરે, તેઓ હદથી આગળ વધી જનારા છે :
و آن‌ها كه امانت‌ها و پيمان خود را رعايت مي‌كنند.
And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant
અને જેઓ પોતાની અમાનતો અને વચનની કાળજી રાખનારા છે.
و آن‌ها كه به اداي شهادتشان قيام مي‌نمايند.
And those who are upright in their testimonies,
અને જેઓ પોતાની ગવાહીઓ પર કાયમ રહે છે :
و آن‌ها كه بر نمازشان مواظبت دارند.
And those who keep a guard on their prayer,
અને જેઓ પોતાની નમાઝોની હિફાઝત કરે છે.
آنان [كه چنين اوصافي دارند] در باغ‌هاي بهشتي گرامي داشته مي‌شوند.
Those shall be in gardens, honored.
એ જ લોકો જન્નતોમાં મોહતરમ હશે.
پس كافران را چه مي‌شود كه با سرعت نزد تو مي‌آيند.
But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you,
પછી તે નાસ્તિકોને શું થયું છે કે તેઓ તારી તરફ દોડી આવે છે:
از راست و چپ، گروه گروه [و آرزوي بهشت دارند]؟!
On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties?
જમણી તથા ડાબી બાજુથી ટોળકીઓમાં.
آيا هر‌يك از آن‌ها [با اين اعمال زشتش] طمع دارد كه او را در بهشت پرنعمت الهي وارد كنند؟!
Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss?
શું તેઓમાંથી દરેક એવી તમન્ના કરે છે કે તેને નેઅમતવાળી જન્નતમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવે?!
هرگز چنين نيست؛ ما آن‌ها را از آنچه خودشان مي‌دانند آفريده‌ايم.
By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know.
હરગિઝ નહિ; તેઓ જાણે છે કે અમોએ તેમને કઇ વસ્તુથી પેદા કર્યા છે?
سوگند به پروردگار مشرق‌ها و مغرب‌ها كه ما قادريم،
But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able
હું તમામ મશરિક તથા મગરિબના પરવરદિગારની કસમ ખાઇને કહું છું કે બેશક અમો કુદરત રાખવાવાળા છીએ:
