سورة المدثر
Al Muddathir
از مجرمان؛
About the guilty:
ગુનેહગારો વિશે:
«چه چيز شما را به دوزخ وارد ساخت»؟!
What has brought you into hell?
કે કઇ વસ્તુએ તમને જહન્નમમાં પહોંચાડી દીધા?
مى‌گويند: ما از نمازگزاران نبوديم.
They shall say: We were not of those who prayed;
તેઓ કહેશે કે અમે નમાઝી ન હતા:
و اطعام مستمند نمى‌كرديم.
And we used not to feed the poor;
અને અમે ગરીબોને ખાવાનું ખવડાવતા ન હતા:
و پيوسته با اهل باطل همنشين و هم‌صدا بوديم.
And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses.
અને અમે એહલે બાતિલ સાથે બાતિલમાં રચ્યા પચ્યા રહેતા હતા:
و همواره روز جزا را انكار مى‌كرديم.
And we used to call the day of Judgement a lie;
અને અમે બદલાના દિવસને જૂઠલાવતા હતા:
تا زمانى‌كه مرگ ما فرا رسيد!
Till death overtook us.
ત્યાં સુધી કે અમને મોત આવ્યુ!
از اين‌رو شفاعت شفاعت‌كنندگان به حال آن‌ها سودي نمي‌بخشد.
So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them.
માટે શફાઅત કરનારાઓની શફાઅત કંઇ ફાયદો નહિં પહોંચાડે.
قوله تعالي: چرا آن‌ها از تذكّر روي گردانند؟!
What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition
શા માટે તેઓ નસીહતથી મોઢું ફેરવી લે છે?!
گويي گورخراني رميده‌اند.
As if they were asses taking fright
જાણે જંગલી ગધેડા કે
