سورة البلد
Al Balad
ولي او از آن گردنه‌ی مهمّ نگذشت!
But he would not attempt the uphill road,
પછી તે ઘાટ પરથી પસાર ન થયો:
و تو نمي‌داني آن گردنه چيست!
And what will make you comprehend what the uphill road is?
અને તું શું જાણે કે આ ઘાટ શું છે?*
آزادكردن برده‌اي.
(It is) the setting free of a slave,
કોઇ ગરદનને આઝાદ કરાવવી (ગુલામ આઝાદ કરવો) :
يا غذا دادن در روز گرسنگي.
Or the giving of food in a day of hunger
અથવા ભૂખના દિવસે જમાડવું:
يتيمي از خويشاوندان،
To an orphan, having relationship,
કોઇ રીશ્તેદાર યતીમને :
يا مستمندي خاك‌نشين را.
Or to the poor man lying in the dust.
અથવા કોઇ નાદાર મિસ્કીનને.
سپس از كساني باشد كه ايمان آورده و يكديگر را به شكيبايي و رحمت توصيه مي‌كنند!
Then he is of those who believe and charge one another to show patience, and charge one another to show compassion.
પછી તે એવા લોકોમાં દાખલ થઇ જાય કે જેઓ ઇમાન લાવ્યા અને એકબીજાને સબ્ર અને મહેરબાનીની સિફારીશ કરે છે.
آن‌ها «اصحاب اليمين» اند (كه نامه‌ی اعمالشان را به‌دست راستشان مي‌دهند)!
These are the people of the right hand.
એ જ લોકો ખુશનસીબ છે.
و كساني كه آيات ما را انكار كرده‌اند، افرادي شومند (كه نامه‌ی اعمالشان به‌دست چپشان داده مي‌شود).
And (as for) those who disbelieve in our communications, they are the people of the left hand.
અને જેમણે અમારી આયતોનો ઇન્કાર કર્યો તેઓ બદનસીબ છે.
بر آن‌ها آتشي است فروبسته (كه راه فراري از آن نيست)!
On them is fire closed over.
તેઓ ઊપર આગ છવાયેલ હશે.
