سورة النحل
An Nahl
باغ‌هايى از بهشت جاويدان است كه همگى وارد آن مى‌شوند؛ نهرها از زير درختانش مى‌گذرد؛ هر چه بخواهند در آنجا هست؛ خداوند پرهيزگاران را چنين پاداش مى‌دهد!
The gardens of perpetuity, they shall enter them, rivers flowing beneath them; they shall have in them what they please. Thus does Allah reward those who guard (against evil),
હંમેશાની જન્નતો જેમાં તેઓ દાખલ થશે જેની હેઠળ નદીઓ વહેતી હશે તેમાં તેઓ જે કાંઇ તમન્ના કરશે તેમને મળશે; પરહેઝગારોને અલ્લાહ આ રીતે જઝા આપે છે.
همان کسانى‌که فرشتگان [مرگ] جانشان را مى گیرند درحالی‌که پاک و پاکیزه‌اند؛ به آنها مى گویند: «سلام بر شما! به پاداش آنچه انجام مى دادید، وارد بهشت شوید.
Those whom the angels cause to die in a good state, saying: Peace be on you: enter the garden for what you did.
જેમની રૂહ ફરિશ્તાઓ પાકો પાકીઝા હાલતમાં કબ્ઝ કરશે અને કહેતા હશે: તમારા પર સલામ થાય, જે આમાલ તમે કર્યા કરતા હતા તેના બદલામાં જન્નતમાં દાખલ થઇ જાઓ.*
آیا آنها [کافران] انتظارى جز این دارند که فرشتگان [قبض روح] به سراغشان بیایند، یا فرمان پروردگارت [براى مجازاتشان] فرا رسد [آنگاه توبه کنند؟! ولى توبه اى بى اثر! آرى]، کسانى‌که پیش از ایشان بودند نیز چنین‌کردند. خداوند به آنها ستم نکرد؛ ولى آنان به خویشتن ستم مى نمودند.
They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them or that the commandment of your Lord should come to pass. Thus did those before them; and Allah was not unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves.
શું તેઓ તેની રાહ જૂએ છે કે ફરિશ્તાઓ તેમની પાસે આવે અથવા તારા પરવરદિગારનો હુકમ આવી પહોંચે જેવી રીતે અગાઉના લોકોએ પણ કર્યુ હતું; અને અલ્લાહે તેમની સાથે ઝુલ્મ કર્યો નથી, પરંતુ તેઓ પોતેજ પોતાની ઉપર ઝુલ્મ કરતા હતા.
و بدی‌هاى اعمالشان سرانجام به آنها رسید و آنچه را [از وعده‌ي عذاب الهى] استهزا مى کردند، دامانشان را گرفت.
So the evil (consequences) of what they did shall afflict them and that which they mocked shall encompass them.
તેમના બૂરા આમાલના નતીજાઓ તેમની સુધી પહોંચ્યા અને જે (અઝાબ)ની તેઓ મશ્કરી કરતા હતા તેણે જ તેમને ઘેરી લીધા.
مشركان گفتند: «اگر خدا مى‌خواست، نه ما و نه پدران ما، غير او را پرستش نمى‌كرديم؛ و چيزى را بدون اجازه او حرام نمى‌ساختيم!» (آرى) كسانى كه پيش از ايشان بودند نيز همين كارها را انجام دادند؛ ولى آيا پيامبران وظيفه‌اى جز ابلاغ آشكار دارند؟!
And they who give associates (to Allah) say: If Allah had pleased, we would not have served anything besides Allah, (neither) we nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (order from) Him. Thus did those before them; is then aught incumbent upon the apostles except a plain delivery (of the message)?
અને જે લોકો શિર્ક કરે છે તેઓ કહે છે કે અગર અલ્લાહ ચાહતે તો અમે અને અમારા બાપદાદાઓ તેના સિવાય બીજાની ઇબાદત કરતે નહિ, અને ન તેના હુકમ વિના અમે કોઇ વસ્તુને હરામ ઠરાવતે; એવું જ તેમના બાપદાદાઓએ પણ કર્યુ હતું, શું રસૂલોને માથે ખુલ્લો પયગામ પહોંચાડી દેવા સિવાય બીજુ કાંઇ છે ?
ما در هر امّتى رسولى برانگيختيم كه: «خداى يكتا را بپرستيد و از طاغوت اجتناب كنيد»! خداوند گروهى را هدايت كرد و گروهى ضلالت و گمراهى دامانشان را گرفت پس در روى زمين بگرديد و ببينيد عاقبت تكذيب‌كنندگان چگونه بود.
And certainly We raised in every nation an apostle saying: Serve Allah and shun the Shaitan. So there were some of them whom Allah guided and there were others against whom error was due; therefore travel in the land, then see what was the end of the rejecters.
અને ખરેજ અમોએ દરેક ઉમ્મતમાં રસૂલ મોકલ્યા જેથી અલ્લાહની ઇબાદત કરો અને તાગૂતો (જૂઠા માઅબૂદો)ને છોડી દો. પછી તેઓમાંથી અમુક લોકોની અલ્લાહે હિદાયત કરી અને અમુક લોકોની ગુમરાહી સાબિત થઇ ગઇ; માટે તમે ઝમીનમાં હરો ફરો, પછી જૂઓ કે જૂઠલાવનારા-ઓનું પરિણામ કેવું હતું ?
هر قدر بر هدایت آنها حریص باشى، [سودى ندارد؛ چرا که] خداوند کسى را که [به سبب اعمالش] گمراه ساخت، هدایت نمى کند؛ و آنها هیچ یاورى نخواهند داشت.
If you desire for their guidance, yet surely Allah does not guide him who leads astray, nor shall they have any helpers.
જો તું તેઓની હિદાયત ઇચ્છે, તો પણ અલ્લાહ તેની હિદાયત કરતો નથી જેને (બિનલાયકાતના કારણે) ગુમરાહ કરી દીધા હોય અને ન તેમનો કોઇ મદદગાર હશે.
آنها سوگندهاى شدید به خدا یاد کردند که: «هرگز خداوند کسى را که مي‌میرد، بر نمى انگیزد»! آرى، [آنها در اشتباهند] این وعده‌ي قطعى خداست [که همه‌ي مردگان را براى جزا باز مى‌گرداند]؛ ولى بیشتر مردم نمى دانند.
And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths: Allah will not raise up him who dies. Yea! it is a promise binding on Him, quite true, but most people do not know;
અને તેઓ (નાસ્તિકો) અલ્લાહની મોટી મોટી કસમ ખાઇને કહે છે કે જે મરી જશે તેને અલ્લાહ ઉઠાવશે નહિ; અલબત્ત આ (સજીવન કરવાનો) સાચો વાયદો છે, પરંતુ મોટા ભાગના લોકો જાણતા નથી:
هدف اين است كه آنچه را در آن اختلاف مى‌كردند، براى آنها روشن سازد و كسانى كه كافر شدند، بدانند كه خود دروغ مى‌گفتند.
So that He might make manifest to them that about which they differ, and that those who disbelieve might know that they were liars.
જેથી જે બાબતમાં તેઓ ઇખ્તેલાફ કરતા હતા તે(ની હકીકત) રોશન કરી દે અને જેઓ ઇન્કાર કરનારા છે તેઓ જાણી લે કે ખરેખર તેઓ જૂઠા હતા.
[رستاخیز مردگان براى ما مشکل نیست؛ زیرا] وقتى چیزى را اراده مي‌کنیم، سخن ما این است که مى‌گوییم: «موجود باش»! بى¬درنگ موجود مى¬شود.
Our word for a thing when We intend it, is only that We say to it, Be, and it is.
જ્યારે અમે કોઇ વસ્તુનો ઇરાદો કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે તેના માટે અમારૂં આટલું કહેવું પૂરતું છે કે “થઇ જા” અને તે થઇ જાય છે.
