سورة القصص
Al Qasas
سپس ما، او وخانه اش را در زمين فرو برديم، و گروهى نداشت كه او را در برابر عذاب الهى يارى كنند، و خودش نيز نمى‌توانست خويشتن را يارى دهد.
Thus We made the earth to swallow up him and his abode; so he had no body of helpers to assist him against Allah nor was he of those who can defend themselves.
પછી અમોએ તેને તથા તેના ઘરબારને ઝમીનમાં ઘસાવી દીધા અને ન કોઇ સમૂહ હતો કે અલ્લાહના (અઝાબ) સામે તેની મદદ કરે અને ન તે પોતે પોતાની મદદ કરી શકયો.
و آن‌ها كه ديروز آرزو مى كردند به جاى او باشند بامدادان [هنگامى كه اين صحنه را ديدند] گفتند: «واى بر ما! گويى خدا روزى را بر هركس از بندگانش بخواهد وسعت مى بخشد يا تنگ مى‌گيرد. اگر خدا بر ما منّت ننهاده بود، ما را نيز در زمين فرو مى‌برد. اى واى! گويى كافران هرگز رستگار نمى‌شوند.»
And those who yearned for his place only the day before began to say: Ah! (know) that Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants; had not Allah been gracious to us, He would most surely have abased us; ah! (know) that the ungrateful are never successful.
અને જેઓએ ગઇ કાલે તેની જગ્યાની તમન્ના કરી હતી, તેઓએ કહ્યુ અય! અફસોસ, અલ્લાહ જ છે જેની ચાહે તેની રોઝી વિશાળ અથવા તંગ કરી દે છે, અને અગર એણે અમારા ઉપર એહસાન કર્યો ન હોત તો અમને પણ ઘસાવી દેત; અય અફસોસ હકીકતમાં નાસ્તિકો કામ્યાબ થનાર નથી.
[آرى،] اين سراى آخرت را[تنها] براى كسانى قرار مى‌دهيم كه اراده برترى جويى و فساد در زمين را ندارند؛ و عاقبت نيك براى پرهيزگاران است.
(As for) that future abode, We assign it to those who have no desire to exalt themselves in the earth nor to make mischief and the good end is for those who guard (against evil)
આ આખેરતનું ઘર અમે તે લોકો માટે રાખીએ છીએ કે જેઓ ઝમીન પર સત્તા અને ફસાદ નથી ચાહતા; અને નેક આકેબત (અંજામ) પરહેઝગારો માટે જ છે.
كسى كه كار نيكى انجام دهد، براى او پاداشى بهتر از آن است؛ و كسى كه كار بدى انجام دهد، مجازات بدكاران جز [به مقدار] اعمالشان نخواهد بود.
Whoever brings good, he shall have better than it, and whoever brings evil, those who do evil shall not be rewarded (for) aught except what they did.
જે કંઇ નેકી લાવશે* તો તેને તેના કરતાં બહેતર બદલો મળશે અને જે કંઇ બદી લાવશે,* અને જેઓએ બદી કરી છે તેઓને જે બદી કરતા હતા તે સિવાયની સજા આપવામાં નહી આવે.
آن كس كه قرآن را بر تو لازم كرد، تو را به جايگاهت (زادگاهت) باز مى‌گرداند. بگو: «پروردگار من از همه بهتر مى‌داند چه كسى [برنامه] هدايت آورده، وچه كسى در گمراهى آشكار است.»
Most surely He Who has made the Quran binding on you will bring you back to the destination. Say: My Lord knows best him who has brought the guidance and him who is in manifest error.
બેશક જેણે તારા ઉપર કુરઆન(ની તબ્લીગ)ને વાજિબ કર્યુ છે તે જરૂર તને તારી વાયદાની જગ્યા સુધી પહોંચાડી દેશે, તું કહે કે મારો પરવરદિગાર બહેતર જાણે છે કે કોણ હિદાયત લઇને આવ્યો છે અને કોણ ખુલ્લી ગુમરાહીમાં છે.
و تو هرگز اميد نداشتى كه اين كتاب آسمانى به تو القا شود؛ ولى رحمت پروردگارت چنين اقتضا كرد؛ اكنون كه چنين است، هيچگاه پشتيبان كافران مباش.
And you did not expect that the Book would be inspired to you, but it is a mercy from your Lord, therefore be not a backer-up of the unbelievers.
અને તમે તો એવી ઉમ્મીદ રાખતા ન હતા કે તમારા ઉપર કિતાબ નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવે પરંતુ આ રહમતે પરવરદિગાર છે માટે તમે હરગિઝ નાસ્તિકોનો સાથ ન આપજો.
و مبادا [آن‌ها] تو را از آيات خداوند، بعد از آن كه بر تو نازل گشت، باز دارند؛ به سوى پروردگارت دعوت كن، و هرگز از مشركان مباش.
And let them not turn you aside from the communications of Allah after they have been revealed to you, and call (men) to your Lord and be not of the polytheists.
અને (એવું ન થાય કે) અલ્લાહની આયતો તારા તરફ નાઝિલ થયા બાદ (તેની તબલીગથી) તને રોકી દે અને તું તારા પરવરદિગાર તરફ દાવત આપ અને તું હરગિઝ મુશરીકોમાંનો થજે નહિં.
معبود ديگرى را با خدا مخوان، كه هيچ معبودى جز او نيست؛ همه چيز جز ذات [پاك] او فانى مى‌شود؛ حاكميّت تنها از آنِ اوست؛ و همه به سوى او باز گردانده مى‌شويد.
And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the Judgement, and to Him you shall be brought back.
અને અલ્લાહ ઉપરાંત બીજા કોઇ માઅબૂદને પોકારો નહિં કે તેના સિવાય બીજો કોઇ માઅબૂદ નથી; તેના ચહેરા સિવાય દરેક વસ્તુ હલાક થનારી છે,* હુકૂમત તેની જ છે અને તેની તરફ તમો સર્વોને પાછા ફેરવવામાં આવશે.
