سورة القصص
Al Qasas
بگو: «به من خبر دهيد اگر خداوند شب را تا روز قيامت بر شما جاودان سازد، آيا معبودى جز خداوند يگانه مى تواند روشنايى براى شما بياورد؟! آيا نمى شنويد؟!»
Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the night to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you light? Do you not then hear?
તું કહે કે તમારો શું મત છે કે જો તે કયામત સુધી તમારા ઉપર રાતને કાયમ કરી દે તો અલ્લાહ સિવાય બીજો કોઇ માઅબૂદ છે કે જે તમારા માટે રોશની લઇ આવે? શું તમે સાંભળતા નથી?
بگو: «به من خبر دهيد اگر خداوند روز را تا قيامت بر شما جاودان كند، آيا معبودى غير از خدا مى تواند شبى براى شما بياورد تا در آن آرامش يابيد؟ آيا نمى بينيد؟!»
Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the day to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you the night in which you take rest? Do you not then see?
તું કહે કે અગર અલ્લાહ કયામતના દિવસ સુધી તમારા પર સતત દિવસને કાયમ કરી રાખે તો અલ્લાહના સિવાય બીજો કોઇ માઅબૂદ છે કે જે તમારા માટે રાત લઇ આવે કે જેમાં તમે આરામ કરો, શું તમે જોતા નથી?
و از رحمت اوست كه براى شما شب و روز قرار داد تا هم در آن آرامش داشته باشيد و هم از فضل خدا بهره گيريد، شايد شكر[نعمت هاى او را] به جا آوريد.
And out of His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, that you may rest therein, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.
આ તેની રહેમતમાંથી છે કે તેણે તમારા માટે રાત તથા દિવસ બનાવ્યા કે જેથી તમે આરામ કરો અને તેના ફઝલને તલાશ કરો અને કદાચ તેનો શુક્ર કરો.
[به خاطرآوريد] روزى را كه آن‌ها را ندا مى‌دهد ومى‌گويد: «كجايند همتايانى كه براى من مى پنداشتيد؟!»
And on the day when He shall call them and say: Where are those whom you deemed to be My associates?
અને કયામતના દિવસે અલ્લાહ તેમને બોલાવશે અને સવાલ કરશે કે મારા તે શરીકો કયાં છે કે જેના વિશે તમે ગુમાન કરતા હતા?
و [در آن روز] از هر امّتى گواهى برمى‌گزينيم و [به مشركان] مى‌گوييم: «دليل خود را بياوريد!» [در آن هنگام] مى‌دانند كه حق از آن خداست، و تمام آنچه را به خدا افترا مى‌بستند از [نظرِ] آن‌ها گم خواهد‌شد.
And We will draw forth from among every nation a witness and say: Bring your proof; then shall they know that the truth is Allah's, and that which they forged shall depart from them.
અને અમે દરેક ઉમ્મતમાંથી એક ગવાહ લાવીશું અને (ઇન્કાર કરનારાઓને) કહીશું કે તમે તમારી દલીલો રજૂ કરો ત્યારે તેઓ જાણી લેશે કે હક અલ્લાહ માટે જ છે અને જે કાંઇ જૂઠી નિસ્બત આપતા હતા તે તેઓ પાસેથી ગુમ થઇ જશે.
قارون از قوم موسى بود، امّا بر آنان ستَم كرد؛ ما آن قدر از گنج‌ها به او داده بوديم كه حمل كليدهاى آن براى گروهى نيرومند، دشوار بود! [به خاطر آوريد] هنگامى را كه قومش به او گفتند:«اين همه از سر غرور شادى مكن، كه خداوند شادى كنندگان مغرور را دوست نمى دارد.
Surely Qaroun was of the people of Musa, but he rebelled against them, and We had given him of the treasures, so much so that his hoards of wealth would certainly weigh down a company of men possessed of great strength. When his people said to him: Do not exult, surely Allah does not love the exultant;
બેશક કારૂન મૂસાની કોમમાંથી હતો, પરંતુ તેણે કોમ ઉપર ઝુલ્મ કર્યો અને અમોએ તેને ખજાનાઓ આપ્યા કે જેની ચાવીઓ ઊપાડવી એક તાકતવર સમૂહ માટે પણ મુશ્કેલ હતી, પછી જયારે તેની કોમે કહ્યું કે તું આ રીતે (ઘમંડથી) ખુશ ન થા, બેશક અલ્લાહ (ઘમંડથી) ખુશ થનારાઓને ચાહતો નથી.
و در آنچه خدا به تو داده، سراى آخرت را بطلب؛ و بهره ات را از دنيا فراموش مكن؛ و همان گونه كه خدا به تو نيكى كرده نيكى‌كن؛ و هرگز در زمين در جستجوى فساد مباش، كه خدا مفسدان را دوست ندارد.»
And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers.
અને જે કાંઇ ખુદાએ આપ્યું છે તેનાથી આખેરતના ઘરની કોશિશ કર અને દુનિયામાં પોતાનો હિસ્સો ભૂલી ન જા અને અને નેકી કર જેવી રીતે ખુદાએ તારી સાથે નેકી કરી છે અને ઝમીન પર ફસાદની કોશિશ ન કર, બેશક અલ્લાહ ફસાદ કરનારાઓને ચાહતો નથી.
[قارون] گفت: «اين ثروت را بوسيله دانشى كه نزد من است به دست آورده‌ام!» آيا او نمى دانست كه خداوند از ميان اقوام پيشين كسانى را هلاك كردكه نيرومندترو ثروتمندتر از او بودند؟! [و هنگامى كه عذاب الهى فرا رسد،] مجرمان از گناهانشان سؤال نمى‌شوند.
He said: I have been given this only on account of the knowledge I have. Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations those who were mightier in strength than he and greater in assemblage? And the guilty shall not be asked about their faults.
કારૂને કહ્યું કે મને આ બધુ મારા ઇલ્મના લીધે આપવામાં આવ્યું છે, શું તેને ખબર નથી કે અલ્લાહે તેની પહેલાં ઘણી નસલોને હલાક કરી નાખી છે જે તેનાથી વધારે શક્તિશાળી અને દોલતમંદ હતી? અને (આવા) મુજરીમોથી તેમના ગુનાહો વિશે સવાલ પણ નહી કરવામાં આવે.
[قارون] با تمام زينت خود در برابر قومش ظاهر‌شد، آن‌ها كه خواهان زندگى دنيا بودند گفتند: «اى كاش همانند آنچه به قارون داده شده است ما نيز داشتيم! براستى كه او بهره عظيمى دارد!»
So he went forth to his people in his finery. Those who desire this world's life said: O would that we had the like of what Qaroun is given; most surely he is possessed of mighty good fortune.
પછી કારૂન પોતાની કોમ સામે બની ઠનીને નીકળ્યો, જેમના દિલમાં દુન્યાવી હયાતની ચાહના હતી તેઓએ કહ્યુ કદાચ અમારી પાસે પણ આ બધુ હોત જે કારૂનને આપવામાં આવ્યુ છે! હકીકતમાં આ બહુ મોટો નસીબદાર છે.
امّا كسانى كه دانش به آن‌ها داده‌شده بود گفتند: «واى بر شما!ثواب الهى براى كسانى كه ايمان آورده‌اند و عمل صالح انجام مى‌دهند بهتر است، امّا جز صابران به آن نمى‌رسند.»
And those who were given the knowledge said: Woe to you! Allah's reward is better for him who believes and does good, and none is made to receive this except the patient.
અને જેમને ઇલ્મ આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું તેઓએ કહ્યું કે અફસોસ તમારા પર, અલ્લાહનો સવાબ ઇમાનવાળા અને નેક આમાલ કરનારા માટે વધારે બહેતર છે, જે સબ્ર કરનાર સિવાય બીજા કોઇને નહી મળે.
