سورة فاطر
Fatir
خداوند آسمان‌ها و زمين را نگاه مى‌دارد تا [از نظام خود] منحرف نشوند؛ و هرگاه منحرف گردند، كسى جز او نمى‌تواند آن‌ها را نگاه دارد؛ او داراى حلم و آمرزنده است.
Surely Allah upholds the heavens and the earth lest they come to naught; and if they should come to naught, there Is none who can uphold them after Him; surely He is the Forbearing, the Forgiving.
બેશક અલ્લાહે ઝમીન અને આસમાનોને નાશ પામવાથી રોકી રાખ્યા છે, અને જો તે બંને નાશ થવા લાગે તો તેના સિવાય કોઇપણ રોકી શકે નહી તે બુર્દબાર (સહનશીલ) અને ગફુર છે.
آنان سوگندهاى شديد به خدا ياد كردند كه اگر [پيامبر] انذاركنندهاى به‌سراغشان آيد، هدايت يافته‌ترين امّت‌ها خواهند بود؛ امّا چون [پيامبر] انذاركنندهاى براى آنان آمد، جز فرار و فاصله‌گرفتن [از حق] چيزى بر آن‌ها نيفزود.
And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that if there came to them a warner they would be better guided than any of the nations; but when there came to them a warner it increased them in naught but aversion.
અને તેઓએ ભારપૂર્વક અલ્લાહની કસમો ખાઇને કહ્યું હતું કે અમારી પાસે અગર કોઇ ડરાવનાર આવશે તો અમે બધી ઉમ્મતો કરતાં વધારે હિદાયત મેળવશું, પરંતુ જયારે તે ડરાવનાર આવ્યો ત્યારે તેઓમાં નફરત સિવાય બીજી કોઇ વસ્તુમાં વધારો થયો નહિં:
[اين‌ها همه] به خاطر استكبار در زمين و نيرنگ‌هاى بدشان بود؛ و نيرنگ بد تنها دامان صاحبانش را مى‌گيرد؛ آيا آن‌ها چيزى جز سنّت پيشينيان [و عذاب‌هاى دردناك الهى] را انتظار دارند؟! هرگز براى سنّت خدا تبديلى نخواهى يافت، و هرگز براى سنّت‌الهى دگرگونى نمى‌يابى.
(In) behaving proudly in the land and in planning evil; and the evil plans shall not beset any save the authors of it. Then should they wait for aught except the way of the former people? For you shall not find any alteration in the course of Allah; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah.
ઝમીનમાં તકબ્બૂર અને ચાલાકીનું આ પરિણામ છે. પરંતુ ચાલાકોની ચાલાકી જ તેમને ઘેરી લે છે, શુ તેઓ અગાઉની ઉમ્મતોના બારામાં ખુદાની જે સુન્નત હતી તેના સિવાયની રાહ જુએ છે? અને અલ્લાહની સુન્નતમાં તમે હરગિઝ ફેરફાર જોશો નહિં, અને ન તમે તેની સુન્નતમાં કંઇ બદલાવ જોશો.
آيا آنان در زمين نگشتند تا ببينند عاقبت كسانى كه پيش از آن‌ها بودند چگونه بود؟! همان‌ها كه از اينان نيرومندتر بودند؛ نه چيزى در آسمان‌ها و نه چيزى در زمين از حوزه‌ی قدرت او بيرون نخواهد رفت؛ به يقين او دانا و تواناست.
Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them while they were stronger than these in power? And Allah is not such that any thing in the heavens or in the earth should escape Him; surely He is Knowing, Powerful.
શું તેઓ ઝમીનમાં સફર નથી કરતા કે જૂએ કે તેમના અગાઊના લોકોનું પરિણામ કેવું હતું ? જોકે તેઓ તેમના કરતાં વધારે તાકતવર હતા; અને આસમાનો તથા ઝમીનની કોઇ વસ્તુ એવી નથી કે તે (અલ્લાહ)ને આજિઝ કરી શકે, બેશક તે જાણનાર અને કુદરત ધરાવનાર છે.
اگر خداوند مردم را به سبب كارهايى كه مرتكب شده‌اند مجازات كند، جنبنده‌اى را بر پشت زمين باقى نخواهد گذاشت؛ ولى [به لطفش] آن‌ها را تا سرآمد معيّنى تأخير مى‌اندازد [و مهلت اصلاح مى‌دهد] امّا هنگامى‌كه اجل آنان فرا رسد، [خداوند هر‌كس را به مقتضاى عملش جزا مى‌دهد] به يقين خداوند نسبت به بندگانش بيناست.
And were Allah to punish men for what they earn, He would not leave on the back of it any creature, but He respites them till an appointed term; so when their doom shall come, then surely Allah is Seeing with respect to His servants.
જો અલ્લાહ લોકોને તેના અમલના કારણે પકડે તો ઝમીન ઊપર કોઇ જીવ બાકી ન રહે, પરંતુ તે એક નકકી સમય સુધી ઢીલ આપે છે, પછી જયારે સમય આવી પહોંચશે, (ત્યારે પકડશે કારણકે) પરવરદિગાર પોતાના બંદાઓ પર નજર રાખવાવાળો છે.
