سورة يس
Yasin
آيا نديدند چه‌قدر از اقوام پيش از آنان را [به خاطر گناهانشان] هلاك كرديم كه آن‌ها هرگز به‌سوى ايشان باز نمى‌گردند [و زنده نمى‌شوند]؟!
Do they not consider how many of the generations have We destroyed before them, because they do not turn to them?
શું તેઓએ નથી જોયું કે અમોએ તેમની પહેલા કેટલીય કોમોને હલાક કરી નાખી કે જે હરગિઝ તેમની પાસે પાછી નહિં આવે?!
و همه‌ی آنان [روز قيامت] نزد ما احضار مى‌شوند.
And all of them shall surely be brought before Us.
કોઇપણ એવુ નથી સિવાય કે (તેને) અમારી પાસે હાજર કરવામાં આવશે.
و زمين مرده براى آن‌ها نشانه‌اى [از عظمت خدا] است كه ما آن را زنده كرديم و دانه [هاى غذايى] از آن خارج ساختيم كه از آن مى‌خورند.
And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain SQ they eat of it.
અને તેમના માટે અમારી એક નિશાની ઊજ્જડ ઝમીન છે. જેને અમોએ સજીવન કરી અને તેમાંથી અનાજ ઊગાવીએ છીએ જેમાંથી તેઓ ખાય છે.
و در آن باغ‌هايى از نخل‌ها و انگورها قرارداديم و چشمه‌هايى آن جارى ساختيم.
And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in it,
અને તે (ઝમીન)માં અમોએ ખજૂર તથા દ્રાક્ષના બગીચાઓ પેદા કર્યા છે અને તેમાં ઝરણાં જારી કર્યા છે :
تا از ميوه‌ی آن بخورند درحالى‌كه با دست خود آن را به عمل نياورده‌اند. آيا شكر [خدا را] به جا نمى‌آورند؟!
That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands did not make it; will they not then be grateful?
જેથી તેઓ તેના ફળ ખાય, જો કે આ (ફકત) તેમના હાથની મહેનત નથી પછી શા માટે શુક્ર અદા નથી કરતા?
منزّه است كسي كه تمام زوج‌ها را آفريد، از آنچه زمين مى‌روياند، و از خودشان، و از آنچه نمى‌دانند.
Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind and of what they do not know.
પાક છે (તે ખુદા કે) જેણે દરેક વસ્તુના જોડા પેદા કર્યા છે, કે જેને ઝમીન ઊગાડે છે અને તેમની (ઇન્સાનની) જાતમાંથી (જોડા પૈદા કર્યા) અને તે વસ્તુઓમાંથી કે જેનું તેમને ઇલ્મ નથી.
شب [نيز] براى آن‌ها نشانه‌اى است [از عظمت خدا]؛ ما روز را از آن برمى‌گيريم، در اين هنگام آنان در تاريكى فرو مى‌روند.
And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark;
અને તેમના માટે એક નિશાની રાત છે, જેમાંથી અમે દિવસને ખેંચી લઇએ છીએ, ત્યારે તેઓ અંધકારમાં રહી જાય છે:
و خورشيد [نيز براى آن‌ها آيتى است] كه پيوسته به‌سوى قرارگاهش در حركت است؛ اين تقدير خداوند توانا و داناست.
And the sun runs on to a term appointed for it; that is the ordinance of the Mighty, the Knowing.
અને સૂરજ તેના મુકર્રર મંઝિલ તરફ ચાલી રહ્યો છે, કે જે જબરદસ્ત, જાણકાર (અલ્લાહ) તરફથી મુકર્રર થયેલ છે.
و براى ماه منزلگاه‌هايى قرارداديم، [و هنگامى‌كه اين منازل را طى كرد] سرانجام به صورت شاخه‌ی كهنه [قوسى شكل و زرد رنگ] خرما درمى‌آيد.
And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it stages till it becomes again as an old dry palm branch.
અને ચાંદ માટે અમે મંઝિલો નક્કી કરી છેવટે તે ખજૂરની સૂકેલી ડાળ જેવો થઇ જાય છે.
نه خورشيد را سزاست كه به ماه رسد، و نه شب بر روز پيشى مى‌گيرد؛ و هريك در مسير خود شناورند.
Neither is it allowable to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day; and all float on in a sphere.
ન સૂરજ માટે યોગ્ય છે કે તે ચાંદને પામી લે અને ન રાત માટે યોગ્ય છે કે તે દિવસ કરતાં આગળ વધી જાય; અને દરેક પોતાની હદ (આસમાન)માં તરી રહ્યા છે.
