سورة الصافات
As Saffat
و قبل از آن‌ها بيشتر پيشينيان [نيز] گمراه شدند.
And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them,
અને ખરેજ તેમની અગાઊ ઘણા લોકો ગુમરાહ થઇ ગયા હતા.
ما در ميان آن‌ها انذاركنندگانى فرستاديم!
And certainly We sent among them warners.
અને અમોએ તેમના વચ્ચે ડરાવનારા રસૂલ મોકલ્યા હતા.
ولى بنگر عاقبت انذارشوندگان چگونه بود!
Then see how was the end of those warned,
માટે જૂઓ કે જેમને ડરાવવામાં આવે છે (અને ન માનવાને કારણે) તેમનો અંજામ કેવો થયો?
مگر بندگان خالص‌شده‌ي خداوند.
Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones.
સિવાય તેઓ કે જેઓ અલ્લાહના મુખ્લીસ (નિખાલસ) બંદાઓ છે.
و نوح، ما را خواند [و ما دعاى او را اجابت‌كرديم]؛ و چه خوب اجابت كننده‌اى هستيم!
And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We.
અને બેશક નૂહે અમને પોકાર્યા હતા (અને અમે જવાબ આપ્યો) કેવા સારા જવાબ આપનાર છીએ!
و او و خاندانش را از اندوه بزرگ رهايى بخشيديم.
And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress.
અને અમોએ તેને તથા તેના ઘરવાળાઓને મોટી મુસીબતમાંથી બચાવ્યા હતા.
و فرزندانش را همان بازماندگان [روى زمين] قرارداديم.
And We made his offspring the survivors.
અને અમોએ જ તેની નસ્લને બાકી રાખી હતી.
و نام نيك او را در ميان امّت‌هاى بعد باقى‌نهاديم.
And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations.
અને તેની યાદને આવનાર નસલોમાં બાકી રાખી :
سلام بر نوح در ميان جهانيان باد!
Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations.
તમામ દુનિયાઓમાં નૂહ ઉપર અમારા સલામ થાય!
ما اين‌گونه نيكوكاران را پاداش مى‌دهيم.
Thus do We surely reward the doers of good.
બેશક નેક અમલ કરવાવાળાઓને અમે આ રીતે બદલો આપીએ છીએ.
