سورة القمر
Al Qamar
پس [ببينيد] عذاب و انذارهاى من چگونه بود!
How (great) was then My punishment and My warning!
માટે કેવો હતો અમારો અઝાબ અને કેવી હતી અમારી ચેતવણી!
ما قرآن را براى پند گرفتن آسان ساختيم؛ آيا كسى هست كه پند گيرد؟!
And certainly We have made the Quran easy for remembrance, but is there anyone who will mind?
અને ખરેજ અમોએ નસીહત માટે કુરઆનને આસાન કર્યું છે, માટે છે કોઇ નસીહત હાંસિલ કરનાર?
طايفه‌ی ثمود [نيز] انذارهاى الهى را تكذيب كردند.
Samood rejected the warning.
અને સમૂદે (પણ) ચેતવણીને જૂઠલાવી.
و گفتند: «آيا ما از بشرى از جنس خود پيروى كنيم؟! اگر چنين كنيم در گمراهى و جنون خواهيم بود».
So they said: What! a single mortal from among us! Shall we follow him? Most surely we shall in that case be in sure error and distress:
અને કહ્યું કે શું અમે અમારામાંથી જ કોઇ ઇન્સાનની તાબેદારી કરીએ જો એમ કરીએ તો ગુમરાહી અને પાગલપનના શિકાર થઇ જશું.
آيا از ميان ما تنها بر او وحى نازل شده؟! نه، او دروغگوى هوسبازى است.
Has the reminder been made to light upon him from among us? Nay! he is an insolent liar!
શું અમારામાંથી ફકત તેના ઉપર ઝિક્ર ઉતારવામાં આવ્યો છે ? હકીકતમાં તે જૂઠો અને ખુદપસંદ છે.
ولى فردا مى‌فهمند چه كسى دروغگوى هوسباز است!
Tomorrow shall they know who is the liar, the insolent one.
(પરંતુ) તેઓ કાલે જાણી લેશે કે જૂઠો અને તકબ્બૂર કરનાર કોણ છે ?
[به صالح گفتيم]: ما «ناقه» را براى آزمايش آن‌ها مى‌فرستيم؛ در انتظار پايان كار آنان باش و صبر كن!
Surely We are going to send the she-camel as a trial for them; therefore watch them and have patience.
અમે તેમની અજમાઇશ માટે એક ઊંટણી મોકલશું માટે તું તેની રાહ જો અને સબ્રથી કામ લે.
و به آن‌ها خبر ده كه آب [قريه] بايد در ميانشان تقسيم شود، [يك روز سهم ناقه و يك روز براى آن‌ها] و هريك براى سهم خود بايد حاضر شوند.
And inform them that the water is shared between them; every share of the water shall be regulated.
અને તેમને જણાવી દે કે તેમની વચ્ચે પાણી વહેંચાઇ ગયું છે, માટે દરેકે પોતાના વારા પર હાજર રહેવું જોઇએ.
[ولى سرانجام] يكى از ياران خود را [براى از بين بردن ناقه] صدا زدند، او به سراغ اين كار آمد و [ناقه را] پى‌كرد.
But they called their companion, so he took (the sword) and slew (her).
પછી તેઓએ તેમના જોડીદારને બોલાવ્યો, અને તેણે ઊંટણીને પકડીને તેના પગ કાપી નાખ્યા.
پس [بنگريد] عذاب و انذارهاى من چگونه بود!
How (great) was then My punishment and My warning!
માટે કેવો હતો અમારો અઝાબ અને કેવી હતી અમારી ચેતવણી!
