سورة يونس
Yunus
بگو: «نگاه كنيد چه چيز [از آيات عظمت خدا] در آسمان‌ها و زمين است»؟ امّا اين آيات و انذارها براى كسانى كه [به خاطر لجاجت] ايمان نمى‌آورند مفيد نخواهد بود.
Say: Consider what is it that is in the heavens and the earth; and signs and warners do not avail a people who would not believe.
તું કહે કે જે કાંઇ આકાશો તથા ઝમીનમાં છે તેમાં ઘ્યાનથી જૂઓ; જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવનારા નથી તેમને આ નિશાનીઓ અને ડરાવવું કાંઇ ઉપયોગી નહી થાય.
آيا آن‌ها [چيزى] جز همانند روزهاى [مجازات] پيشينيان را انتظار مى‌كشند؟! بگو: «شما انتظار بكشيد، من نيز با شما انتظار مى‌كشم»!
What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait.
શું તેઓ અગાઊ થયેલા લોકો પર (અઝાબ)ના દિવસ જેવા દિવસનો ઇન્તેઝાર કરે છે? તું કહે કે તમે ઇન્તેઝાર કરો, હું પણ તમારી સાથે ઇન્તેઝાર કરનારાઓમાંથી છું.
سپس [هنگام نزول بلا و مجازات]، پيامبران خود و كسانى را كه [به آنان] ايمان مى‌آوردند، نجات مى‌داديم و همين‌گونه، بر ما لازم است كه مؤمنان [به تو] را [نيز] نجات بخشيم.
Then We deliver Our apostles and those who believe-- even so (now), it is binding on Us (that) We deliver the believers.
પછી અઝાબ વખતે અમે અમારા રસૂલ તથા ઇમાન લાવનારાઓને બચાવતા હતા. આવી જ રીતે અમારા ઉપર ફરજ છે કે અમે મોઅમીનોને નજાત આપીએ.
بگو: «اى مردم! اگر در عقيده من شك داريد، من آنهايى را كه جز خدا مى‌پرستيد، نمى‌پرستم! تنها خداوندى را پرستش مى‌كنم كه شما را مى‌ميراند! و من مأمورم كه از مؤمنان باشم!
Say: O people! if you are in doubt as to my religion, then (know that) I do not serve those whom you serve besides Allah but I do serve Allah, Who will cause you to die, and I am commanded that I should be of the believers.
તું કહે કે અય લોકો! અગર તમે મારા દીનના સબંધમાં શંકાશીલ છો તો (જાણી લો કે) તમે અલ્લાહ સિવાય જેની ઇબાદત કરો છો હું તેની ઇબાદત કરતો નથી પરંતુ હું અલ્લાહની ઇબાદત કરૂં છું કે જે તમને મૌત આપે છે, અને મને હુકમ આપવામાં આવ્યો છે કે હું મોઅમીનોમાંથી થઇ જાઉં.
و [به من دستور داده شده كه]: روى خود را با اخلاص به آيين الهى متوجّه ساز؛ و از مشركان مباش!
And that you should keep your course towards the religion uprightly; and you should not be of the polytheists.
અને તારૂ ઘ્યાન દીને હક તરફ રાખ, અને કયારેય મુશરિકોમાંથી થજે નહિ.
و جز خدا، چيزى را كه نه سودى به تو مى‌رساند و نه زيانى، مخوان! كه اگر چنين كنى، از ستمكاران خواهى بود!
And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.
અને અલ્લાહના સિવાય બીજા કોઇને પોકારજે નહિ કે જે તને ફાયદો કે નુકસાન પહોંચાડતા નથી જો તુ આવુ કરીશ તો બેશક તું ઝાલિમોમાંથી થઇ જઇશ.
و اگر خداوند، [براى امتحان و مانند آن]، زيانى به تو رساند، هيچ‌كس جز او نمى‌تواند آن را برطرف كند؛ و اگر اراده‌ي خيرى براى تو كند، هيچ‌كس مانع فضل او نخواهد شد. آن را به هركس از بندگانش بخواهد مى‌رساند؛ و او آمرزنده و مهربان است.
And if Allah should afflict you with harm, then there is none to remove it but He; and if He intends good to you there is none to repel His grace; He brings it to whom He pleases of His servants; and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
અને અગર અલ્લાહ તને કાંઇ નુકસાન પહોંચાડે તો તેને દૂર કરનારો તેના સિવાય બીજો કોઇ નથી, અને જો તે તારા માટે કોઇ ભલાઇનો ઇરાદો કરે તો તેના ફઝલને પલટાવનાર પણ કોઇ નથી; તે પોતાના બંદાઓમાંથી જેને ચાહે (ભલાઇ) પહોંચાડી દે છે; અને તે ગફુરૂર રહીમ છે.
بگو: «اى مردم! حقّ از طرف پروردگارتان به سراغ شما آمده؛ هركس [در پرتو آن] هدايت يابد، به نفع خود هدايت مى‌شود؛ و هركس گمراه گردد، به زيان خود گمراه مى‌گردد؛ و من مأمور [به اجبار] شما نيستم».
Say: O people! indeed there has come to you the truth from your Lord, therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright only for the good of his own soul, and whoever goes astray, he goes astray only to the detriment of it, and I am not a custodian over you.
તું કહે કે અય લોકો ! ખરેખર તમારા પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તમારી પાસે હક આવી ચૂક્યું છે, માટે જે શખ્સ હિદાયત હાંસિલ કરશે, તેને પોતાને ફાયદો થશે, અને જે ગુમરાહ થશે, તેને પોતાને જ નુકસાન થશે; અને હું કાંઇ તમારો ઝિમ્મેદાર નથી.
And follow what is revealed to you and be patient till Allah should give Judgement, and He is the best of the judges.
અને જે વહી તારી તરફ મોકલવામાં આવે છે તેની જ તાબેદારી કર અને સબ્ર કર એટલે સુધી કે અલ્લાહ ફેંસલો કરે અને તે બહેતરીન ફેંસલો કરનાર છે.
