سورة النحل
An Nahl
خداوند بعضى از شما را بر بعضى دیگر از نظر روزى برترى داد [چراکه تلاش‌هایتان متفاوت است]. ولى کسانى‌که برترى داده شده اند، حاضر نیستند از روزى خود به بردگانشان بدهند تا همگى در آن مساوى گردند؛ آیا آنان نعمت خدا را انکار مى نمایند [که شکر او را ادا نمى کنند]؟!
And Allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence, so those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess so that they should be equal therein; is it then the favor of Allah which they deny?
અને અલ્લાહે રોઝીમાં તમારામાંથી અમુકને અમુક પર ફઝીલત આપી છે, પછી તેઓ કે જેમને ફઝીલત આપવામાં આવી છે તેઓ પોતાની રોઝી પોતાના ગુલામોને આપતા નથી કે તે (રોઝી)માં તેઓ સરખા થઇ જાય; શું તેઓ અલ્લાહની નેઅમતનો ઇન્કાર કરે છે ?
خداوند براى شما از جنس خودتان همسرانى قرار داد؛ و از همسرانتان براى شما فرزندان و نوه هایى به وجود آورد؛ و از نعمت هاى پاکیزه به شما روزى داد؛ آیا به باطل ایمان مى آورند و نعمت خدا را انکار مى کنند؟!
And Allah has made wives for you from among yourselves, and has given you sons and grandchildren from your wives, and has given you of the good things; is it then in the falsehood that they believe while it is in the favor of Allah that they disbelieve?
અને અલ્લાહે તમારા પોતાના નફસોમાંથી તમારા માટે જીવનસાથી પૈદા કરી છે, તથા તમારા જીવનસાથીઓમાંથી તમારા માટે વંશવેલો અતા કર્યો છે, અને પાકીઝા રિઝક આપ્યું છે; તો પણ શું તેઓ બાતિલ પર ઇમાન લાવશે? અને અલ્લાહની નેઅમતની નાશુક્રી કરશે?
و آن‌ها غير از خدا، موجوداتى را مى پرستند كه هيچ رزقى را براى آنان از آسمان‌ها و زمين در اختيار ندارند و توان آن را نيز ندارند.
And they serve besides Allah that which does not control for them any sustenance at all from the heavens and the earth, nor have they any power.
અને તેઓ અલ્લાહને મૂકી જેમની ઇબાદત કરે છે, તેઓ આસમાન તથા ઝમીનમાંથી રોઝી આપવાનો કોઇ અધિકાર રાખતા નથી, અને ન કોઇ તાકત ધરાવે છે.
پس، براى خدا امثال [و شبيه] قائل نشويد. زيرا خدا مى‌داند، و شما نمي‌دانيد.
Therefore do not give likenesses to Allah; surely Allah knows and you do not know.
માટે અલ્લાહ સાથે બીજાઓની સરખામણી કરો નહિ કારણકે અલ્લાહ જાણે છે અને તમે કાંઇ જાણતા નથી.
خداوند مثالى زده: برده‌ي مملوکى را که قادر بر هیچ‌چیز نیست و شخص [آزاد و با ایمانى] را که از جانب خود، رزقى نیکو به او بخشیده ایم و او پنهان و آشکار از آن، انفاق مى کند؛ آیا آن‌ها یکسانند؟! ستایش مخصوص خداست؛ ولى اکثر آن‌ها نمى دانند.
Allah sets forth a parable: (consider) a slave, the property of another, (who) has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two alike? (All) praise is due to Allah! Nay, most of them do not know.
અલ્લાહ એક એવા ગુલામનો દાખલો આપે છે કે જે પોતે બીજાની માલીકીમાં હોય અને તે કાંઇપણ સત્તા રાખતો ન હોય; અને તે (આઝાદ ઇન્સાન)નો (દાખલો) કે જેને અમોએ અમારી પાસેથી ઉમદા રોઝી આપી હોય જેથી તે તેમાંથી જાહેર અને છુપી રીતે સખાવત કરતો હોય; શું તેઓ બન્ને સમાન છે? તારીફ ફકત અલ્લાહ માટે જ છે; પરંતુ તેઓમાંથી ઘણાખરા જાણતા નથી.
خداوند مثالى [دیگر] زده است: دو نفر را، که یکى از آن دو، گنگ مادر زاد است و قادر بر هیچ کارى نیست و سربار صاحبش مى باشد؛ او را در پى هر چیز مى فرستد، کارى از پیش نمى برد؛ آیا او، با کسى که امر به عدل و داد مى‌کند و بر راهى راست قرار دارد، برابر است؟!
And Allah sets forth a parable of two men; one of them is dumb, not able to do anything, and he is a burden to his master; wherever he sends him, he brings no good; can he be held equal with him who enjoins what is just, and he (himself) is on the right path?
અને અલ્લાહ બે માણસોનો દાખલો આપે છે, તેમાંનો એક મૂંગો હોય કે જે કોઇ કામ નથી કરી શકતો, અને પોતાના માલિક પર બોજારૂપ છે, જ્યાંપણ મોકલવામાં આવે કાંઇપણ ભલાઇ સાથે પાછો આવતો નથી, જયારે બીજો માણસ જે કાંઇ હુકમ કરે તે ઇન્સાફ સાથે હોય, અને સીધા રસ્તા પર હોય, શું આ બંને માણસો એક સરખા છે?
غيب آسمان‌ها و زمين، مخصوص خداست [و او همه را مى داند] ؛ و امر قيامت [به قدرى نزديك و آسان است] درست همانند چشم برهم زدن، و يا از آن هم نزديك‌تر؛ چراكه خدا بر هر چيزى تواناست.
And Allah's is the unseen of the heavens and the earth; and the matter of the hour is but as the twinkling of an eye or it is higher still; surely Allah has power over all things.
અને ઝમીન તથા આસમાનોની છૂપી વાતો અલ્લાહ માટે છે અને કયામતની બાબત આંખના પલકારા સમાન અથવા તેનાથી પણ વધારે નજીક છે કારણકે અલ્લાહ દરેક વસ્તુ ઉપર કુદરત રાખે છે.
و خداوند شما را از شکم مادرانتان خارج نمود درحالی‌که هیچ چیز نمى‌دانستید؛ و براى شما، گوش و چشم و عقل قرار داد، تا شکر به جا آورید.
And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers-- you did not know anything-- and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts that you may give thanks.
અને અલ્લાહે તમને તમારી વાલેદાઓના પેટમાંથી બહાર કાઢયા ત્યારે તમે કાંઇ જ જાણતા ન હતા, અને તેણે તમને કાન, આંખ અને દિલ આપ્યા કે કદાચને તમે શુક્ર કરો.
آيا آن‌ها به پرندگانى كه بر فراز آسمان نگه داشته شده‌اند، نظر نيفكندند؟ هيچ‌كس جز خدا آن‌ها را نگاه نمى‌دارد؛ در اين امر، نشانه‌هايى [از عظمت و قدرت خدا] است براى كسانى كه ايمان مى‌آورند.
Do they not see the birds, constrained in the middle of the sky? None withholds them but Allah; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.
શું તેઓ પરિન્દાઓ તરફ જોતા નથી કે જે આસમાનની હવામાં તાબે રહે છે? તેમને અલ્લાહ સિવાય અન્ય કોઇ ટકાવી રાખતો નથી; બેશક ઇમાન લાવનારાઓ માટે તેમાં નિશાનીઓ છે.
و خدا براى شما از خانه هایتان محلّ سکونت [و آرامش] قرار داد؛ و از پوست چهارپایان نیز براى شما خانه هایى (خیمه هایى) قرار داد که روز کوچ کردن و روز اقامتتان، به آسانى مى توانید آن‌ها را جا به جا کنید؛ و از پشم ها و کرک ها و موهاى آن‌ها، براى شما وسایل زندگى تا زمان معیّنى قرار داد.
And Allah has given you a place to abide in your houses, and He has given you tents of the skins of cattle which you find light to carry on the day of your march and on the day of your halting, and of their wool and their fur and their hair (He has given you) household stuff and a provision for a time.
અલ્લાહે તમારા ઘરોને તમારા માટે રાહતનું કારણ બનાવ્યું છે અને ચામડાઓના ખૈમા બનાવ્યા, જે મુસાફરીમાં અને પડાવ વખતે આસાની રહે છે, અને તેના ઊન તથા રૂંવાટીમાંથી તથા વાળમાંથી તમને જુદી જુદી સામાન સામગ્રી એક ચોક્કસ સમય માટે આપી.
