سورة مريم
Maryam
و آنان غير از خدا، معبودانى را براى خود برگزيدند تا مايه‌ی عزّتشان باشد. [چه پندار خامى]!
And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength;
અને તેઓએ અલ્લાહ સિવાયનાને માઅબૂદ બનાવી લીધા છે કે તેઓ તેમના માટે ઇઝઝતનું કારણ બને;
هرگز چنين نيست! به‌زودى [معبودهايشان] منكر عبادت آنان خواهند شد؛ و بر ضدّ آن‌ها گواهى مى‌دهند.
By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them.
તેમ હરગિઝ નહિ થાય, નજીકમાં જ તેઓ તેમની ઇબાદતનો ઇન્કાર કરશે અને તેમના જ મુખાલીફ બની જશે.
آيا نديدى كه ما شياطين را به‌سوى كافران فرستاديم تا آنان را شديداً تحريك كنند؟!
Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement?
શું તું નથી જોતો કે અમોએ શેતાનોને નાસ્તિકો તરફ મોકલી દીધા છે કે જેથી તેમને સખ્ત ઊશ્કેર્યા કરે?
پس درباره‌ی آنان شتاب مكن؛ ما آن‌ها [و اعمالشان] را به‌دقّت شماره مى‌كنيم.
Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days).
માટે તું તેમના સંબંધમાં (અઝાબની) ઉતાવળ ન કર; અમે સરખી રીતે તેમ(ના આમાલ)ની ગણતરી કરી રહ્યા છીએ.
در آن روز كه پرهيزگاران را به‌صورت گروهى به‌سوى خداوند رحمان [و پاداش‌هاى او] محشور مى‌كنيم.
The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors
તે દિવસે પરહેઝગારોને રહેમાન પાસે ગિરોહ-ગિરોહ મહેશૂર કરવામાં આવશે.
و مجرمان را تشنه‌كام [همچون شترانى كه به‌طرف آب‌گاه مى‌روند] به‌سوى جهنّم مى‌رانيم.
And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty
અને મુજરીમોને અમે પ્યાસા જહન્નમ તરફ હંકારીશું.
آنان هرگز مالك شفاعت نيستند؛ مگر كسى كه نزد خداوند رحمان، عهد و پيمانى گرفته است.
They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah.
તે વખતે કોઇને પણ શફાઅત કરવાનો ઇખ્તીયાર નહી હોય, સિવાય કે જેણે રહેમાન ખુદા પાસે વાયદો લીધો હશે.
و گفتند: «خداوند رحمان فرزندى اختيار كرده است».
And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son.
અને તેઓ કહે છે કે રહેમાન (અલ્લાહ)એ એક ફરઝંદ પસંદ કર્યો છે.
راستى مطلب زشت و زننده‌‌اى گفتيد!
Certainly you have made an abominable assertion
બેશક તમોએ ગંભીર વાત કરી છે:
نزديك است به‌سبب اين سخن آسمان‌ها از هم متلاشى گردد، و زمين شكافته شود، و كوه‌ها به‌شدّت فرو ريزد.
The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,
નજીક છે કે આસમાનો ફાટી પડે, અને ઝમીન ચીરાઇ જાય, અને પહાડ તૂટીને ટૂકડે ટૂકડા થઇ પડી જાય.
