سورة ص
Sad
ص، سوگند به قرآنى كه داراى ذكر است [كه اين كتاب، معجزه‌ی الهى است].
Suad, I swear by the Quran, full of admonition.
સાદ, કસમ છે નસીહતથી ભરેલા કુરઆનની.
ولى كافران گرفتار غرور و اختلافند.
Nay! those who disbelieve are in self-exaltation and opposition.
પરંતુ નાસ્તિકો ગુરૂર (ઘમંડ) અને ઇખ્તેલાફમાં પડયા છે.
چه بسيار اقوامى را كه پيش از آن‌ها هلاك كرديم و به‌هنگام نزول عذاب فرياد مى‌زدند [و كمك مى‌خواستند] ولى وقت نجات گذشته بود.
How many did We destroy before them of the generations, then they cried while the time of escaping had passed away.
અમોએ તેમની અગાઊ કેટલીએ નસ્લોને હલાક કરી નાખી, પછી તેઓએ ફરિયાદ કરી, પરંતુ તે સમય છુટકારાનો સમય ન હતો.
آن‌ها تعجّب كردند كه [پيامبر] انذار‌كننده‌اى از ميان خودشان به‌سويشان آمده و كافران گفتند: «اين ساحر بسيار دروغگويى است».
And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This is an enchanter, a liar.
અને તેમને એ વાતથી તઅજ્જુબ થયું કે તેઓમાંથી જ એક ડરાવનાર આવ્યો અને નાસ્તિકોએ સાફ કહ્યું કે આ જાદુગર અને જૂઠ્ઠો છે.
آيا او به جاى اين همه خدايان، خداى واحدى قرار داده؟! اين به‌راستى چيز عجيبى است!
What! makes he the gods a single Allah? A strange thing is this, to be sure!
શું તેણે સઘળા ખુદાઓને છોડીને એક ખુદા બનાવી લીધો છે, ખરેજ, એકદમ અજબ જેવી વાત છે !
سركردگان آن‌ها بيرون آمدند و گفتند: «برويد و بر [پرستش] خدايانتان استقامت كنيد، اين چيزى است كه خواسته مى‌شود [تا به‌سبب آن شما را گمراه كنند].
And the chief persons of them break forth, saying: Go and steadily adhere to your gods; this is most surely a thing sought after.
અને તેઓમાંથી એક સમૂહ એમ કહીને ચાલતો થયો કે ચાલો, તમારા ખુદાઓ પર કાયમ રહો, બેશક આ ચીઝનો ઇરાદો કરવામાં આવેલ છે.
ما هرگز چنين چيزى در آيين ديگرى نشنيده‌ايم؛ اين تنها يك امر ساختگى است.
We never heard of this in the former faith; this is nothing but a forgery:
અમોએ અગાઉના જમાનાની ઉમ્મતોમાં આવી વાતો નથી સાંભળી; અને આ ઘડી કાઢેલી વાત સિવાય કંઇ નથી.
آيا از ميان همه‌ی ما، قرآن تنها بر او (محمّد) نازل شده»؟! آن‌ها در‌حقيقت در اصل وحى من ترديد دارند، بلكه آنان هنوز عذاب الهى را نچشيده‌اند [كه اين‌چنين گستاخانه سخن مى‌گويند].
Has the reminder been revealed to him from among us? Nay! they are in doubt as to My reminder. Nay! they have not yet tasted My chastisement!
શું આપણામાંથી ફકત તેના ઉપર જ કિતાબ નાઝિલ થઇ છે ? હકીકતમાં તેઓને મારા ઝિક્ર (વહી)માં શક છે બલ્કે તેઓએ હજી અઝાબ ચાખ્યો નથી.
مگر خزاين رحمت پروردگار توانا و بخشنده‌ات نزد آن‌هاست [تا به هركس ميل دارند بدهند]؟!
Or is it that they have the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the great Giver?
અથવા શું તેમની પાસે તારા જબરદસ્ત બક્ષનાર પરવરદિગારની રહેમતના ખજાના છે?
يا اينكه حكومت آسمان‌ها و زمين و آنچه ميان اين دو است از آن آن‌ها است؟! [اگر چنين است] با هر وسيله‌ی ممكن به آسمان‌ها بروند [و از نزول وحى بر پيامبر جلوگيرى كنند]!
Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any
અથવા આસમાનો તથા ઝમીન અને તે બંનેની વચ્ચે જે કાંઇ છે તેનો ઇખ્તીયાર તેમને છે? (જો એવુ હોય તો) દરેક શક્ય વસીલાથી આસમાન પર ચડી જાય !
