سورة المائدة
Al Ma'ida
شيطان مى‌‌خواهد به‌وسيله‌ی شراب و قمار، در ميان شما عداوت و كينه ايجاد كند، و شما را از ياد خدا و از نماز باز‌دارد. آيا [با اين همه زيان و فساد، و با اين نهى اكيد]، خوددارى خواهيد كرد؟!
The Shaitan only desires to cause enmity and hatred to spring in your midst by means of intoxicants and games of chance, and to keep you off from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you then desist?
શેતાન ફકત તમારી વચ્ચે શરાબ તથા જુગાર વડે દુશ્મનાવટ અને કિન્નાખોરી નાખવા ઇચ્છે છે અને તમને અલ્લાહની યાદ તથા નમાઝ અદા કરતાં અટકાવે છે; તો શું તમે અટકી જાશો ?
اطاعت كنيد خدا را و اطاعت كنيد پيامبر [خدا] را؛ و [از نافرمانى] برحذر باشيد. و اگر سرپيچى‌كنيد، [مستحّق مجازات خواهيد بود؛ و] بدانيد بر پيامبر ما، جز ابلاغ آشكار، نيست.
And obey Allah and obey the apostle and be cautious; but if you turn back, then know that only a clear deliverance of the message is (incumbent) on Our apostle.
અને અલ્લાહ તથા રસૂલની ઇતાઅત કરતા રહો તથા (નાફરમાનીથી) બચતા રહો; પછી જો તમે મોઢું ફેરવી લેશો તો સમજી લો કે અમારા રસૂલની ઝીમ્મેદારી તો માત્ર વાઝેહ પયગામ પહોંચાડી દેવાની છે.
بر كسانى كه ايمان آورده و كارهاى شايسته انجام داده‌اند، گناهى در آنچه [قبل از نزول حكم تحريم شراب] خورده‌اند نيست؛ هرگاه تقوا پيشه‌كنند، و ايمان آورند، و اعمال صالح انجام دهند؛ سپس تقوا پيشه كنند و ايمان آورند؛ سپس تقوا پيشه كنند و نيكى نمايند. و خداوند، نيكوكاران را دوست مى‌دارد.
On those who believe and do good there is no blame for what they eat, when they are careful (of their duty) and believe and do good deeds, then they are careful (of their duty) and believe, then they are careful (of their duty) and do good (to others), and Allah loves those who do good (to others).
જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવ્યા તથા નેક આમાલ કર્યા તેમણે (અગાઉ) જે કાંઇ ખાધું છે તે સંબંધી તેમના પર કાંઇ ગુનોહ નથી. જયારે તેઓ પરહેઝગાર બન્યા અને ઇમાન લઇ આવ્યા તથા નેક આમાલ કર્યા અને તે પછી (પણ) તેઓ ડર્યા અને ઇમાન લાવ્યા, ત્યારબાદ પણ તેઓ ડરતા રહ્યા અને નેકી કરતા રહ્યા; અને અલ્લાહ નેકી કરનારાઓને દોસ્ત રાખે છે.
اى كسانى كه ايمان آورده‌ايد! خداوند شما را با شكارهايى كه [در حال احرام به شما نزديك مى‌شوند، به‌طورى كه] دست‌ها و نيزه‌هايتان به آن مى‌رسد، مى‌آزمايد؛ تا مشخص‌كند چه كسى با ايمان به غيب از خدا مى‌ترسد؛ و هر‌كس بعد از آن تجاوز كند، مجازات دردناكى خواهد داشت.
O you who believe! Allah will certainly try you in respect of some game which your hands and your lances can reach, that Allah might know who fears Him in secret; but whoever exceeds the limit after this, he shall have a painful punishment.
અય ઇમાન લાવનારાઓ ! અલ્લાહ તે શિકારના સબંધમાં કે જેના સુધી તમારા હાથ તથા નૈઝા પહોંચી શકે તેમાં તમારૂં જરૂર ઇમ્તેહાન કરશે કે જેથી તે (જાહેરી નિશાની વડે) જાણી લે કે છૂપી રીતે તેનાથી કોણ ડરે છે; પણ તે પછી જે હદબાર જશે તેના માટે દર્દનાક અઝાબ હશે.
اى كسانى كه ايمان آورده‌ايد! در‌حال احرام، شكار نكنيد؛ و هر‌كس از شما از روى عمد آن را به قتل برساند، بايد كفّاره‌اى معادل آن از چهارپايان بدهد؛ [كفّاره‌اى] كه دو نفر عادل از شما، معادل بودن آن را تصديق كنند؛ و به‌صورت قربانى به [حريم] كعبه برسد؛ يا [به‌جاى قربانى]، با اطعام مستمندان كفّاره دهد؛ يا معادل آن، روزه بگيرد، تا كيفر كار خود را بچشد. خداوند گذشته را عفو كرده است. و هر‌كس تكرار كند، خدا او را مجازات مى‌كند؛ و خداوند، توانا و داراى مجازات است.
O you who believe! do not kill game while you are on pilgrimage, and whoever among you shall kill it intentionally, the compensation (of it) is the like of what he killed, from the cattle, as two just persons among you shall judge, as an offering to be brought to the Kaaba or the expiation (of it) is the feeding of the poor or the equivalent of it in fasting, that he may taste the unwholesome result of his deed; Allah has pardoned what is gone by; and whoever returns (to it), Allah will inflict retribution on him; and Allah is Mighty, Lord of Retribution.
અય ઇમાન લાવનારાઓ ! જ્યારે તમે એહરામની હાલતમાં હોવ ત્યારે શિકાર કરશો નહિ અને તમારામાંથી જેણે જાણી જોઇને શિકાર કર્યો તો તેનો બદલો એ છે કે ચોપગાં જાનવરોમાંથી તેણે જે માર્યું હોય તેવું જ એક કુરબાન કરે કે જેનો ફેસલો તમારામાંથી બે આદીલ વ્યક્તિ કરે, અને એ કુરબાની કાઅબામાં પહોંચાડવામાં આવે; અથવા કફફારો (તેની કિંમતમાંથી જેટલા મિસ્કીનો ખાઇ શકે તેટલા) મિસ્કીનોને ખાવાનું ખવડાવવું અથવા (એટલા મિસ્કીનોની) સંખ્યા પ્રમાણે રોઝા રાખવા કે જેથી પોતાના કાર્યના અંજામની મજા ચાખે; (પરંતુ આ) પહેલાં જે થઇ ચૂક્યું છે તેનાથી અલ્લાહે દરગુજર કરી દીધી છે; અને જે ફરીથી તેમ કરશે, અલ્લાહ તેનાથી બદલો લેશે; અને અલ્લાહ ઇઝ્ઝતવાળો (કુદરતવાળો અને) બદલો લેનાર છે.
صيد دريايى و طعام آن براى شما و كاروانيان حلال است؛ تا [در حال احرام نيز] از آن بهره‌مند شويد؛ ولى تا زمانى كه محرم هستيد، شكار صحرايى براى شما حرام است؛ و از [نافرمانى] خدايى كه به‌سوى او محشور مى‌شويد، بپرهيزيد!
Lawful to you is the game of the sea and its food, a provision for you and for the travellers, and the game of the land is forbidden to you so long as you are on pilgrimage, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, to Whom you shall be gathered.
દરિયાઇ શિકાર કરવો અને તે (શિકારો)નું ખાવું તમારા માટે હલાલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. તમારા અને તમારા મુસાફર સાથીઓ માટે આ (શિકાર ખોરાક માટે ઊપયોગી) માઘ્યમ છે; અને જ્યાં સુધી તમે અહેરામની હાલતમાં હોવ ત્યાં સુધી તમારા ઉપર ઝમીન પરનો શિકાર હરામ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે; અને અલ્લાહ(ની નાફરમાની)થી બચતા રહો કે જેની હજૂરમાં તમને ભેગાં કરવામાં આવશો.
خداوند، كعبه بيت الحرام را وسيله‌اى براى استوارى و سامان بخشيدن به كار مردم قرار داده؛ و همچنين ماه حرام، و قرباني‌هاى بى‌نشان، و قرباني‌هاى نشاندار را؛ اين‌گونه احكام به‌خاطر آن است كه بدانيد خداوند،آنچه در آسمان‌ها و آنچه در زمين است، مىداند؛ و بدانيد خدا بر هر‌چيزى داناست.
Allah has made the Kaaba, the sacred house, a maintenance for the people, and the sacred month and the offerings and the sacrificial animals with garlands; this is that you may know that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and that Allah is the Knower of all things.
અલ્લાહે હુરમત (બુઝુર્ગી) વાળા મકાન (યાને) કાઅબાને લોકોના (દીન દુનિયાની ભલાઇ) કાયમ રહેવાનું સ્થાન બનાવ્યું છે અને એવી જ રીતે હુરમતવાળા મહિના તથા કુરબાનીઓ તથા નિશાનીવાળી કુરબાનીને પણ (હુરમતવાળી બનાવી છે); આ એ માટે કે તમે જાણી લો કે બેશક આકાશો તથા ઝમીનમાં જે કાંઇ છે તે (સઘળું) અલ્લાહ જાણે છે અને એ કે અલ્લાહ દરેક વસ્તુનો જાણકાર છે.
بدانيد خدا داراى مجازات شديد، و [در عين حال] آمرزنده و مهربان است.
Know that Allah is severe in requiting (evil) and that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
જાણી લો કે અલ્લાહ સખ્તમાં સખ્ત સઝા કરનારો છે તેમજ અલ્લાહ ગફુરૂર રહીમ છે.
پيامبر وظيفه‌اى جز رساندن پيام [الهى] ندارد؛ [و مسؤول اعمال شما نيست]. و خداوند آنچه را آشكار مى‌كنيد، و آنچه را پنهان مى‌داريد مىداند.
Nothing is (incumbent) on the Apostle but to deliver (the message), and Allah knows what you do openly and what you hide.
રસૂલના માથે પયગામ પહોંચાડી દેવા સિવાય અન્ય કાંઇ (જવાબદારી) નથી; અને તમે જે કાંઇ જાહેર કરો છો તથા જે કાંઇ સંતાડો છો તે અલ્લાહ જાણે છે.
بگو: «[هيچ‌گاه] ناپاك و پاك مساوى نيستند؛ هر چند فزونى ناپاك‌ها، تو را به شگفتى اندازد. از [مخالفت] خدا بپرهيزيد اى صاحبان خرد، تا رستگار شويد».
Say: The bad and the good are not equal, though the abundance of the bad may please you; so be careful of (your duty to) Allah, O men of understanding, that you may be successful.
કહે કે પાકીઝા અને ખબીસ સરખા નથી, ભલે પછી ખબીસનો (સંખ્યામાં) વધારો તમને નવાઈ પમાડે; માટે અય અક્કલમંદો! અલ્લાહ(ની નાફરમાની)થી બચો જેથી તમે કામ્યાબ થાઓ.
