سورة المائدة
Al Ma'ida
هنگامى كه نزد شما مى‌آيند، مى‌گويند: «ايمان آورده‌ايم». [امّا] با كفر وارد شده‌اند، و با كفر خارج شده‌اند؛ و خداوند، از آنچه كتمان مى‌كردند، آگاه‌تر است.
And when they come to you, they say: We believe; and indeed they come in with unbelief and indeed they go forth with it; and Allah knows best what they concealed.
અને જે વેળા તેઓ તમારી પાસે આવે છે ત્યારે તેઓ કહે છે કે અમે ઇમાન લાવ્યા છીએ. પણ વાસ્તવમાં તેઓ નાસ્તિકપણા સાથે આવે છે અને નાસ્તિકપણા સાથે ચાલ્યા જાય છે; અને જે તેઓ છૂપાવે છે તેનાથી અલ્લાહ સારી રીતે જાણકાર છે.
بسيارى از آنان را مى‌بينى كه در گناه و تعدّى، و خوردن مال حرام، شتاب مى‌كنند. چه بد و ناپسند است كارى كه انجام مى‌دادند.
And you will see many of them striving with one another to hasten in sin and exceeding the limits, and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired; certainly evil is that which they do.
અને તું તેઓમાંથી ઘણાઓને (એવી હાલતમાં) જોશે કે ગુનાહ અને ઝુલ્મ કરવામાં તથા હરામનો માલ ખાવામાં ઊતાવળે આગળ વધે છે; ખરેજ તેઓ જે કાંઇ કરે છે તે ઘણું જ ખરાબ કરે છે.
چرا دانشمندان و علما [ى يهود و نصارا]، آنها را از سخنان گناه آميز و خوردن مال حرام، نهى نمى‌كنند؟! چه بد و ناپسند است عملى كه انجام مى‌دادند!
Why do not the learned men and the doctors of law prohibit them from their speaking of what is sinful and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired? Certainly evil is that which they work.
અલ્લાહવાળા અને આલીમો તેમને ગુનાહભરી વાત કહેતાં તથા હરામનો માલ ખાતાં શા માટે અટકાવતા નથી ? ખરેખર તેઓ જે કાંઇ કરે છે તે કેટલુ ખરાબ કાર્ય કરે છે!
كفر بسيارى از آنها مى‌افزايد. وما در ميان آنها تا روز قيامت عداوت ودشمنى افكنديم. هر زمان آتش جنگى [در برابر شما] افروختند، خداوند آن را خاموش ساخت؛ و براى فساد در زمين، تلاش مى‌كنند؛ و خداوند، مفسدان را دوست ندارد.
And the Jews say: The hand of Allah is tied up! Their hands shall be shackled and they shall be cursed for what they say. Nay, both His hands are spread out, He expends as He pleases; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; and We have put enmity and hatred among them till the day of resurrection; whenever they kindle a fire for war Allah puts it out, and they strive to make mischief in the land; and Allah does not love the mischief-makers.
અને યહૂદીઓ કહે છે કે અલ્લાહનો હાથ બંધાયેલો છે; હકીકતમાં તેમના (યહુદીઓના) જ હાથો બંધાયેલા છે! અને તેમના પર આ કહેવાના કારણે લાનત થઇ, બલ્કે તે (અલ્લાહ)ના બંને હાથ ખુલ્લા છે, જેવી રીતે ચાહે છે ઇન્ફાક (ખર્ચ) કરે છે, અને જે કાંઇ તારા પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તારા પર નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તે તેઓમાંના ઘણાઓની સરકશી અને નાસ્તિકપણાને જરૂર વધારી મૂકશે; અને અમોએ તેમની વચ્ચે કયામત સુધી દુશ્મનાવટ અને સખ્ત કીન્નાખોરી નાખી દીધી છે; જ્યારે તેઓ લડાઇની આગ સળગાવે છે ત્યારે અલ્લાહ તેને બુઝાવી નાખે છે અને તેઓ ઝમીનમાં ફસાદ ફેલાવવાની કોશિશ કરે છે અને અલ્લાહ ફસાદ કરનારાઓને દોસ્ત રાખતો નથી.
و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان مى‌آوردند و تقوا پيشه مى‌كردند، گناهان آنها را مى‌بخشيديم؛ و آنها را در باغ‌هاى پرنعمت بهشت، وارد مى‌ساختيم.
And if the followers of the Book had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have covered their evil deeds and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of bliss
અને જો કિતાબ ધરાવનારાઓ ઇમાન લાવતે તથા પરહેઝગાર બનતે તો અમે તેમના ગુનાહ માફ કરી દેતે અને તેમને નેઅમતવાળી જન્નતોમાં દાખલ કરતે.
و اگر آنان، تورات و انجيل و آنچه را از سوى پروردگارشان بر آنها نازل شده [قرآن] برپا مى‌داشتند، از آسمان و زمين، روزى مى‌خوردند؛ جمعى از آنها، معتدل و ميانه‌رو هستند؛ ولى بيشتر آنها اعمالشان بد است.
And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do
અને જો તેઓ તૌરેત તથા ઇન્જીલને તથા જે કાંઇ તેમના પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તેમના ઉપર નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતુ તે કાયમ રાખતે તો તેઓ તેમના ઉપર (આસ્માનમાં)થી તથા પગ નીચે (ઝમીનમાં)થી પણ (રીઝક) ખાત; તેઓ માંહેનું એક ટોળું મઘ્યમ (ઇન્સાફના) રસ્તે ચાલનારૂં છે; અને તેઓમાંના ઘણાં ખરા બદતરીન આમાલ અંજામ આપે છે.
اى پيامبر! آنچه از طرف پروردگارت برتو نازل شده است، به‌طور كامل [به مردم] ابلاغ كن؛ و اگر چنين نكنى، رسالت او را انجام نداده‌اى. خداوند تو را از [خطرات احتمالى] مردم، حفظ مى‌كند؛ و خداوند، گروه كافران [لجوج] را هدايت نمى‌كند. (۶۷ ( سبب نزول
O Apostle! deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people.
અય રસૂલ! જે કાંઇ તારા પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તારી તરફ નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તે પહોંચાડી દે; અને જો તું તેમ ન કરે તો તે (અલ્લાહ)નો પૈગામ પહોંચાડ્યો નથી; અને અલ્લાહ તને લોકો(ના શર)થી મહેફૂઝ રાખશે; બેશક અલ્લાહ ઇન્કાર કરનારાઓની હિદાયત કરતો નથી.*
بگو:«اى اهل كتاب! شما هيچ جايگاهى [ نزد خداوند] نداريد، مگر اينكه تورات و انجيل و آنچه را از طرف پروردگارتان بر شما نازل شده است، برپا داريد». ولى به‌يقين آنچه بر تو از سوى پروردگارت نازل شده [نه تنها مايه بيدارى آنها نمى‌گردد، بلكه] بر طغيان و كفر بسيارى از آنها مى‌افزايد. بنابراين، از اين [مخالفت و انحراف] گروه كافران غمگين مباش.
Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.
તું કહે કે અય કિતાબવાળાઓ! જ્યાં સુધી તમે તૌરેત તથા ઇન્જીલ તથા જે કાંઇ તમારા પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તમારા પર નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તેને કાયમ નહિ રાખો ત્યાં સુધી તમારી કોઇ હેસીયત નથી; અને જે કાંઇ તારા પરવરદિગાર તરફથી તારા પર નાઝિલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તે (લોકો)માંના ઘણાઓની સરકશી અને નાસ્તિકપણાને જરૂર વધારી મૂકશે, માટે નાસ્તિકોના હાલ પર અફસોસ ન કર.
كسانى كه [به پيامبر اسلام] ايمان آوردند، و كسانى كه به آيين يهود گرويدند و صابئان (پيروان يحيى) و نصارى، هر‌كدام كه به خداوند يگانه و روز بازپسين، ايمان بياورند، و كارهاى شايسته انجام دهند، نه ترسى بر آن‌هاست، و نه اندوهگين مى‌شوند.
Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
બેશક જેઓ ઇમાન લાવ્યા છે અને જેઓ યહૂદીઓ અને સાબેઇન (સિતારા પરસ્ત) અને ખ્રિસ્તીઓ છે, (તેઓમાંથી) જે કોઇ અલ્લાહ તથા કયામતના દિવસ પર ઇમાન રાખશે તથા નેક આમાલ કરશે, તેમને ન કાંઇ ડર રહેશે અને ન તેઓ ગમગીન થશે.
ما از بنى‌اسرائيل پيمان گرفتيم؛ و پيامبرانى به‌سوى آنها فرستاديم؛ [ولى] هر‌زمان پيامبرى چيزى بر خلاف هواى نفس آنها مى‌آورد، عدّه‌اى را تكذيب مى‌كردند؛ و عدّه‌اى را مى‌كشتند.
Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them apostles; whenever there came to them an apostle with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew.
ખરેજ અમોએ બની ઇસરાઇલ પાસેથી વચન લીધું અને તેમની તરફ રસૂલો મોકલ્યા હતા; જ્યારે તેમની પાસે કોઇ રસૂલ એવો હુકમ લઇને આવ્યો કે જેને તેઓ ઇચ્છતા ન હતા ત્યારે તેઓ અમુકને જૂઠલાવતા અને અમુકને કત્લ કરી નાખતા.
