سورة المائدة
Al Ma'ida
آنها گمان كردند مجازاتى در كار نخواهد بود؛ از اين‌رو [از ديدن حقايق] نابينا و [از شنيدن سخنان حق]، ناشنوا شدند؛ سپس [بيدار گشتند، و] خداوند توبه‌ی آنها را پذيرفت؛ ديگر بار [در خواب غفلت فرو رفتند، و] بسيارى از آنها كور‌و‌كر شدند؛ و خداوند، به آنچه انجام مى‌دهند، بيناست.
And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then Allah turned to them mercifully, but many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is well seeing what they do.
અને તેમણે એવું ગુમાન કર્યું હતું કે કોઇ સજા આપવામાં આવશે નહિ, જેથી તેઓ (હકીકત પ્રત્યે) આંધળા અને બહેરા થઇ ગયા; પછી અલ્લાહે તેમની તૌબા કબૂલ કરી લીધી, પછી પણ તેઓમાંના ઘણાય (હકીકત પ્રત્યે) આંધળા તથા બહેરા થઇ ગયા; અને તેઓ જે કાંઇ કરે છે તે અલ્લાહ સારી રીતે જોઇ રહ્યો છે.
كسانى كه گفتند: «خداوند همان مسيح فرزند مريم است»، به‌يقين كافر شدند، [با اينكه خود] مسيح گفت: «اى بنى‌اسرائيل! خداوند يگانه را، كه پروردگار من و شماست، پرستش كنيد؛ زيرا هر‌كس همتايى براى خدا قرار دهد، خداوند بهشت را بر او حرام كرده؛ و جايگاه او دوزخ است؛ و براى ستمكاران، هيچ يار و ياورى نيست».
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.
ખરેખર તે લોકોએ નાસ્તિકપણું કર્યું જેઓ કહે છે કે બેશક અલ્લાહ એ જ મસીહ ઇબ્ને મરિયમ છે; અને મસીહે કહ્યું કે અય બની ઇસરાઇલ! અલ્લાહની ઇબાદત કરો જે મારો પરવરદિગાર છે અને તમારો (પણ) પરવરદિગાર છે; બેશક જે કોઇ અલ્લાહની સાથે કોઇને શરીક કરશે, તેના પર અલ્લાહે જન્નત હરામ કરી દીધી છે અને તેનું ઠેકાણું (જહન્નમની) આગ છે; અને ઝુલમગારોનો કોઇ મદદગાર નથી.
كسانى كه گفتند: «خداوند، يكى از سه خداست» به‌يقين كافر شدند؛ هيچ معبودى جز معبود يگانه نيست؛ و اگر از آنچه مى‌گويند دست برندارند،عذاب دردناكى به كافران آنها [كه روى اين عقيده ايستادگى‌كنند]، خواهد رسيد.
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one Allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.
ખરેખર તે લોકો નાસ્તિક છે કે જે કહે કે બેશક અલ્લાહ ત્રણ (માઅબૂદ)માંથી ત્રીજો છે, જો કે એક જ માઅબૂદ સિવાય અન્ય કોઇ માઅબૂદ નથી; અને જે કાંઇ તેઓ કહે છે તેનાથી જો તેઓ અટકશે નહિ તો તેઓમાંથી કુફ્ર કરનારને જરૂર દર્દનાક અઝાબ મળશે.
آيا به‌سوى خدا بازنمى‌گردند، و از او طلب آمرزش نمى‌كنند؟! [در‌حالى‌كه] خداوند آمرزنده و مهربان است.
Will they not then turn to Allah and ask His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
શું તેઓ અલ્લાહની (બારગાહ) તરફ પાછા નહી ફરે અને તેનાથી માફી નહિ ચાહે? જયારે કે અલ્લાહ ગફુરૂર રહીમ છે.
مسيح فرزند مريم، فقط پيامبر [خدا] بود؛ پيش از وى نيز، پيامبرانى بودند؛ مادرش، زن بسيار راستگويى بود؛ هر دو، غذا مى‌خوردند؛ [با اين حال، چگونه ادعاى الوهيّت مسيح و پرستش مريم را داريد]؟! بنگر چگونه نشانه‌ها [ى حق] را براى آنها آشكار مى‌سازيم؛ سپس بنگر چگونه از حقّ منحرف مى‌شوند!
The Messiah, son of Marium is but an apostle; apostles before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.
મસીહ ઇબ્ને મરિયમ બીજો કોઇ નથી પણ એક રસૂલ છે, જેની અગાઉ ઘણાય રસૂલો થઇ ગયા છે; અને તેની વાલેદા સાચુ બોલનારી હતી; તેઓ બંને ખાવાનું પણ ખાતા હતા; હવે જૂઓ કે કેવી રીતે અમે તેમના માટે નિશાનીઓ રોશન કરીને બયાન કરીએ છીએ, પછી જૂઓ તેઓ (બહેકીને) કયા જઇ રહ્યા છે!
بگو:«آيا جز خدا چيزى را مى‌پرستيد كه مالك سود و زيانى براى شما نيست؟! و خداوند، شنوا و داناست».
Say: Do you serve besides Allah that which does not control for you any harm, or any profit? And Allah-- He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
તું કહે કે શું તમે અલ્લાહને છોડી તેની ઇબાદત કરો છો કે જે તમારા નફા નુકસાનના માલિક નથી? અને અલ્લાહ સાંભળનાર, જાણનાર છે.
بگو: «اى اهل كتاب! در دين خود، غلّو [و زياده‌روى] نكنيد؛ و غير از حق نگوييد؛ و از هوس‌هاى گروهى كه پيشتر گمراه شدند و بسيارى را گمراه‌كردند و از راه راست منحرف‌گشتند، پيروى ننماييد».
Say: O followers of the Book! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path.
તું કહે, અય કિતાબવાળાઓ તમારા દીનમાં નાહક અતિશયોક્તિ ન કરો તથા તે કૌમની ઇચ્છાઓને ન અનુસરો કે જે આ પહેલાં ગુમરાહ થઇ ચૂકી છે, અને તેઓએ ઘણાઓને ગુમરાહ કર્યા અને સીધા રસ્તાથી બહેકી ગયા છે.
كافران بنى‌اسرائيل، بر زبان داود و عيسى‌بن‌مريم، لعن [و نفرين] شدند. اين به‌خاطر آن بود كه نافرمانى‌كرده، و تجاوز مى‌نمودند.
Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.
બની ઇસરાઇલમાંથી જેઓ ઇમાન ન લાવ્યા તેમના ઉપર દાવૂદ તથા ઇસા ઇબ્ને મરિયમની ઝબાનથી લાઅનત કરવામાં આવી છે; એ માટે કે તેઓ નાફરમાની કરી તથા હદબહાર જતા હતા.
آنها از اعمال زشتى كه انجام مى‌دادند، يكديگر را نهى نمى‌كردند؛ چه بدكارى انجام مى‌دادند!
They used not to forbid each other the hateful things (which) they did; certainly evil was that which they did.
જે બદી તેઓ કરતા હતા તેનાથી એક બીજાને તેઓ અટકાવતા ન હતા; ખરેખર તેઓ જે કાંઇ કરતા હતા કેટલુ ખરાબ હતું!
بسيارى از آنها را مى‌بينى كه كافران [و بت پرستان] را دوست و تكيه‌گاه خود قرار مى‌دهند نفس [سركش] آنها، چه بد اعمالى از پيش براى [قيامت] آنها فرستاد، كه نتيجه آن، خشم خداوند بود؛ و در عذاب [الهى] جاودانه خواهند ماند.
You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide.
તેઓમાંથી ઘણા લોકોને તું નાસ્તિકોને સરપરસ્ત બનાવતા જોઇશ; અને જે કાંઇ તેમના નફસોએ પોતાના માટે અગાઉથી મોકલ્યું છે તે કેટલુ ખરાબ છે! અલ્લાહ તેમનાથી નારાજ છે અને તેઓ હંમેશા અઝાબમાં જ રહેનાર છે.
