سورة التوبة
At Tawba
مردان و زنان باايمان، ولىّ [و يار و ياور] يكديگرند، امربه‌معروف و نهى‌ازمنكر مى‌كنند، نماز را برپا مى‌دارند و زكات را مى‌پردازند و خدا و پيامبرش را اطاعت مى‌كنند، به‌زودى خدا آنان را مورد رحمت [خويش] قرار مى‌دهد، خداوند توانا و حكيم است.
And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Apostle; (as for) these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.
અને મોઅમીન મર્દો તથા મોઅમીન ઔરતો એકબીજાના મદદગાર છે; તેઓ (પરસ્પર) નેકીનો હુકમ કરે છે, અને બદીની મનાઇ કરે છે, અને નમાઝ કાયમ કરે છે, અને ઝકાત આપતા રહે છે, અને અલ્લાહ તથા તેના રસૂલની ઇતાઅત કરે છે. એ જ (તે) લોકો છે કે નજીકમાં અલ્લાહ તેમના પર રહેમ કરશે; બેશક અલ્લાહ જબરદસ્ત હિકમતવાળો છે.
خداوند به مردان و زنان باايمان، باغهاى بهشتى وعده داده كه نهرها از پاى درختانش جارى است، جاودانه در آن خواهند ماند و [همچنين] خانه‌ها [و قصرهاى] پاكيزه در باغهاى جاودان بهشتى [به آن‌ها وعده داده] و خشنودى خدا، [از همه‌ی اين‌ها] برتر است و اين، همان رستگارى و پيروزى بزرگ است.
Allah has promised to the believing men and the believing women gardens, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual abode; and best of all is Allah's goodly pleasure; that is the grand achievement.
અલ્લાહે મોઅમીન મર્દો તથા મોઅમીન ઔરતોને જન્નતનો વાયદો કર્યો છે જેની નીચે નદીઓ વહેતી હશે, જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેનારા થશે, અને જન્નતે અદનમાં પાકીઝા મકાનો હશે; અને અલ્લાહની ખુશનુદી સૌથી મહાન છે અને એ જ મોટી સફળતા છે.
اى پيامبر! با كافران و منافقان جهاد كن و بر آن‌ها سخت بگير! جايگاهشان جهنّم است و بد فرجامى است!
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.
અય નબી ! નાસ્તિકો તથા મુનાફીકો સામે જેહાદ કર અને તેઓના પર સખ્તાઇ કર; અને તેઓનો અંજામ જહન્નમ છે, અને તે બહુજ ખરાબ ઠેકાણું છે.
به خدا سوگند ياد مى‌كنند كه [در غياب پيامبر، سخنان كفرآميز] نگفته‌اند، درحالى‌كه به يقين سخنان كفرآميز گفته‌اند و پس از اسلام آوردنشان، كافر شده‌اند و تصميم به امرى [خطرناك] گرفتند، كه به آن نرسيدند. آن‌ها فقط از اين ايراد مى‌گيرند كه خداوند و پيامبرش، آنان را به فضل [و كَرَم] خود، بى‌نياز ساختند. [بااين‌حال] اگر توبه كنند، براى آن‌ها بهتر است و اگر روى‌گردانند، خداوند آن‌ها را در دنيا و آخرت، به مجازات دردناكى كيفر خواهد داد و در سراسر زمين، نه ولىّ و سرپرستى دارند و نه ياورى.
They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam, and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Apostle enriched them out of His grace; therefore if they repent, it will be good for them; and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper.
તેઓ અલ્લાહની કસમ ખાઇને કહે છે કે તેઓએ નથી કહ્યું, જો કે તેઓએ ખરે જ કુફ્રની વાત ઊચ્ચારી હતી, અને તેઓ પોતાના ઇસ્લામ પછી (પાછા) નાસ્તિક થઇ ગયા, અને એવી વાતનો ઇરાદો કર્યો હતો કે જે કરી જ ન શક્યા, અને તેઓના ગુસ્સાનું કારણ એ હતું કે અલ્લાહે તથા તેના રસૂલે પોતાના ફઝલથી તેમને (મુસલમાનોને) બેનિયાઝ બનાવી દીધા; માટે અગર તેઓ તૌબા કરી લેશે તો તેઓના માટે સારૂં છે; અને જો તેઓ મોંઢું ફેરવી લેશે તો અલ્લાહ તેમને દુનિયા તથા આખેરતમાં દર્દનાક અઝાબ આપશે અને ઝમીન પર ન તેમનો કોઇ સરપરસ્ત હશે ન કોઇ મદદગાર.
از آن‌ها كسانى هستند كه با خدا پيمان بسته بودند: «اگر خداوند ما را از فضل خود روزى دهد، قطعاً صدقه و زكات خواهيم داد و از صالحان [و شاكران] خواهيم بود».
And there are those of them who made a covenant with Allah: If He give us out of His grace, we will certainly give alms and we will certainly be of the good.
અને તેઓમાંથી (એવા પણ) છે કે જેમણે અલ્લાહ સાથે કરાર કર્યો હતો કે જો તે પોતાના ફઝલથી અમને કાંઇ આપશે તો અમે જરૂર સદકો આપીશું તથા સાલેહીનમાંથી થઇ જઇશું.
امّا هنگامى‌كه خدا از فضل خود به آن‌ها بخشيد، نسبت به آن بخل ورزيدند و سرپيچى كردند و روى برتافتند.
But when He gave them out of His grace, they became niggardly of it and they turned back and they withdrew.
પરંતુ જ્યારે તેણે પોતાના ફઝલથી તેમને આપ્યું ત્યારે તેના (ઇન્ફાક કરવા) વિશે તેમણે કંજૂસાઈ કરી અને ફરી ગયા પછી તેઓએ પીઠ ફેરવી લીધી.
اين عمل، [روحِ] نفاق را تا روزى كه خدا را ملاقات كنند، در دل‌هايشان برقرار ساخت. اين سزاى شكستن پيمانى است كه با خدا بسته بودند و سزاى دروغ‌هايى است كه مى‌گفتند.
So He made hypocrisy to follow as a consequence into their hearts till the day when they shall meet Him because they failed to perform towards Allah what they had promised with Him and because they told lies.
પછી તે (અલ્લાહ)ની મુલાકાતના દિવસ સુધી તેઓના દિલમાં નિફાક રહેવા દેશે; (એક તો) એ માટે કે જે વાયદો તેમણે અલ્લાહથી કર્યો હતો તેને વફા ન કર્યો અને (બીજું) એ કે તેઓ જૂઠું બોલતા હતા.
آيا نمى دانستند كه خداوند، اسرار و سخنان درگوشىِ آن‌ها را مى داند و خداوند داناى اسرار نهان است؟!
Do they not know that Allah knows their hidden thoughts and their secret counsels, and that Allah is the great Knower of the unseen things?
શું તેઓ જાણતા નથી કે અલ્લાહ તેઓના રહસ્ય અને કાન ભંભેરણીને જાણે છે? અને અલ્લાહ ગૈબનો જાણનારો છે
كسانى كه از مؤمنان فرمانبردار، در صدقاتشان عيب‌جويى مى‌كنند وكسانى را كه [براى انفاق در راه خدا] جز به مقدارِ [ناچيزِ] توانايى خود دسترسى ندارند، مسخره مى‌نمايند، خدا آن‌ها را استهزا مى‌كند [و كيفر مى‌دهد] و براى آن‌ها عذاب دردناكى است!
They who taunt those of the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffing, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
જેઓ મોઅમીનોમાંથી રાજી ખુશીથી સદકો કરનારાઓને મેણાં મારે છે, તથા તેમને પણ કે જેમની પાસે પોતાની મહેનત ઉપરાંત કાંઇ હોતું નથી અને તેમની મશ્કરી કરે છે, અલ્લાહ પણ તેમની મશ્કરી કરશે, અને તેમના માટે દર્દનાક અઝાબ છે.
چه براى آن‌ها استغفار كنى و چه نكنى، [حتّى] اگر هفتاد‌بار براى آن‌ها استغفار كنى، هرگز خدا آن‌ها را نمى‌آمرزد، چراكه خدا و پيامبرش را انكار كردند و خداوند گروه فاسقان را هدايت نمى‌كند.
Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them; this is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Apostle, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
તું તેમના માટે ઇસ્તગફાર કર અથવા તેમના માટે ઇસ્તગફાર ન કર બરાબર છે; જો તુ તેમના માટે સિત્તેર વખત પણ ઇસ્તગફાર કરીશ તો પણ અલ્લાહ તેમને હરગિઝ માફ નહિ કરે; કારણકે તેઓએ અલ્લાહ તથા તેના રસૂલનો ઇન્કાર કર્યો છે અને અલ્લાહ નાફરમાન લોકોની હિદાયત કરતો નથી.
