سورة يونس
Yunus
هنگامى كه به مردم، پس از ناراحتى كه به آن‌ها رسيده است، رحمتى بچشانيم، در آيات ما نيرنگ مى‌كنند (و براى آن نعمت و رحمت توجيهات ناروا مى‌كنند)؛ بگو: «خداوند سريعت ر از شما مكر [چاره‌جويى] مى‌كند؛ و رسولان [فرشتگان] ما، آنچه نيرنگ مى‌كنيد (و نقشه مى‌كشيد)، مى‌نويسند!»
And when We make people taste of mercy after an affliction touches them, lo! they devise plans against Our communication. Say: Allah is quicker to plan; surely Our apostles write down what you plan.
અને જ્યારે અમે લોકોને તેમના પર તકલીફ પડી ચૂક્યા બાદ (અમારી) રહેમતની મજા ચખાડીએ છીએ ત્યારે તેઓ તરત જ અમારી આયતો ખિલાફ ફરેબ (ધોકો) કરવા લાગે છે. (અય રસૂલ !) તું કહે કે તદબીર કરવામાં અલ્લાહ સૌથી વધુ ઝડપી છે; બેશક અમારા મોકલેલ (ફરિશ્તા) જે ફરેબ (ધોકો) તમે કરો છો તે લખતા જાય છે.
او كسى است كه شما را در خشكى و دريا سير مى‌دهد؛ زمانى كه در كشتى قرار مى‌گيريد، و بادهاى موافق آنان را (به‌سوى مقصد) حركت مي‌دهد و خوشحال مى‌شوند، ناگهان طوفان شديدى مى‌وزد؛ و امواج از هر سو به سراغ آن‌ها مى‌آيد؛ و گمان مى‌كنند هلاك خواهند شد؛ در آن هنگام، خدا را از روى اخلاص مى‌خوانند كه: «اگر ما را از اين گرفتارى نجات دهى، حتماً از سپاسگزاران خواهيم بود!»
He it is Who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice, a violent wind overtakes them and the billows surge in on them from all sides, and they become certain that they are encompassed about, they pray to Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience: If Thou dost deliver us from this, we will most certainly be of the grateful ones.
જે તમને ખુશ્કી તથા દરિયામાં સૈર કરાવે છે; અહીં સુધી કે જ્યારે તમે વહાણોમાં સવાર હોવ ત્યારે અનુકૂળ હવા તે તેઓને લઇને ચાલે છે, અને તેઓ આ બાબતથી ઘણાજ ખુશ થાય છે ત્યાં અચાનક એક સખત વાવાઝોડું આવે છે, અને દરેક દિશામાંથી તેમની ઉપર મોજાં આવી પડે છે, અને તે વખતે તેઓને ગુમાન થાય છે કે તેઓ મુકમ્મલ રીતે ઘેરાઇ ગયા છે, ત્યારે નિખાલસ દીનની સાથે અલ્લાહ પાસે દુઆ માંગે છે કે જો તું અમને આનાથી બચાવી લેશે તો અમે ખરેખર શુક્ર કરનારાઓમાંના થઇ જઇશું.
امّا هنگامى‌كه خدا آن‌ها را رهايى بخشيد، [بار ديگر] به ناحق در زمين ستم مى‌كنند. اى مردم! ستم‌هاى شما به زيان خود شماست. از زندگى دنيا بهره [اندكى مى‌بريد]، سپس بازگشت شما به‌سوى ماست؛ و ما، شما را به آنچه عمل مى‌كرديد، خبر مى‌دهيم.
But when He delivers them, lo! they are unjustly rebellious in the earth. O men! your rebellion is against your own souls-- provision (only) of this world's life-- then to Us shall be your return, so We will inform you of what you did.
પછી જ્યારે તેમને બચાવી લે છે ત્યારે તેઓ ઝમીન ઉપર નાહક ઝુલ્મ કરવા લાગે છે; અય લોકો! તમારો ઝુલ્મ તમારા માટે નુકસાનકારક છે, (આ ફકત) દુનિયાની ઝિંદગીની મજા છે પછી તમારૂં પાછું ફરવું અમારી તરફ છે અને તમે જે આમાલ કર્યા કરતા હતા તે અમે તમને જણાવી દઇશું.
مَثَل زندگىِ دنيا، همانند آبى است كه از آسمان نازل كرده‌ايم؛ كه در‌پى آن، گياهانِ [گوناگونِ] زمين كه مردم و چهارپايان [از آن] مى‌خورند [مى‌رويد] و در هم فرو مى‌رود؛ تا زمانى‌كه زمين، زيبايى خود را يافته و آراسته گرديد و اهلِ آن مطمئن شدند كه مى‌توانند [بى‌هيچ مانعى] از آن بهره‌مند گردند، [ناگهان] فرمان ما، شب هنگام يا در روز فرا مى‌رسد؛ [و سرما يا صاعقه‌اى را بر آن مسلّط مى‌سازيم]؛ و آنچنان آن را درو مى‌كنيم كه گويى ديروز هرگز [چنين كشتزارى] نبوده است! اين‌گونه آيات خود را براى گروهى كه مى‌انديشند، شرح مى‌دهيم.
The likeness of this world's life is only as water which We send down from the cloud, then the herbage of the earth of which men and cattle eat grows luxuriantly thereby, until when the earth puts on its golden raiment and it becomes garnished, and its people think that they have power over it, Our command comes to it, by night or by day, so We render it as reaped seed; produce, as though it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do We make clear the communications for a people who reflect.
દુન્યવી જીવનની મિસાલ આસમાનથી નાઝિલ થયેલ પાણી જેવી છે જે ઇન્સાન અને જાનવરના ખોરાકની વનસ્પતિઓમાં ભળી જઇ (તેને પોષણ આપે છે) એટલે સુધી કે સુશોભિત થઇ ઝમીનને શણગારે છે અને તેના અહલ (માલિક) ગુમાન કરે છે કે પાક ઊપર તેઓનો જ કબજો છે (ત્યાં અચાનક) રાતે અથવા દિવસના અમારો હુકમ (અઝાબ) આવી પહોંચે છે પછી તે (પાક)ને એવી રીતે કાપી નાખ્યો કે જાણે ગઇકાલે પાક હતો જ નહી. વિચાર કરનારા લોકો માટે અમારી આયતો આવી જ રીતે વિગતવાર બયાન કરીએ છીએ.
و خداوند به سراى صلح و آرامش دعوت مى‌كند؛ و هركس را بخواهد [و شايسته ببيند]، به راه راست هدايت مى‌نمايد.
And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whom He pleases into the right path.
અને અલ્લાહ સલામતીના ઘર તરફ બોલાવે છે, અને જેને ચાહે (યોગ્ય સમજે) છે તેને સેરાતે મુસ્તકીમ (સીધી રાહ) તરફ હિદાયત કરે છે.
براى كسانى كه نيكى كردند، پاداش نيك [همانند عملشان] و افزون بر آن خواهد بود؛ و غبار [غم] و ذلّت، چهره‌هايشان را نمى‌پوشاند؛ آن‌ها اهل بهشتند، و جاودانه در آن خواهند ماند.
For those who do good is good (reward) and more (than this); and blackness or ignominy shall not cover their faces; these are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.
જે લોકોએ નેકી કરી તેમના માટે નેક બદલો છે, અને (તેમાં) વધારો પણ; તેમના ચહેરાઓ પર ન અંધકાર હશે ન ઝિલ્લત; તેઓ જ જન્નતવાસીઓ છે, જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેશે.
امّا كسانى كه مرتكب گناهان شدند، جزاى بدى به مقدار آن دارند؛ و ذلّت و خوارى، چهره‌ی آنان را مى‌پوشاند؛ و هيچ نگهدارنده‌اى در برابر [مجازات] خدا براى آنان نيست. [چهره‌هايشان آنچنان گرفته است كه] گويى با پاره‌هايى از شب تاريك، صورت آن‌ها پوشيده شده! آن‌ها اهل دوزخند؛ و جاودانه در آن خواهند ماند.
And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from Allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
અને જે લોકોએ બૂરા કામો કર્યા, તે બૂરાઇનો બદલો તેવો જ હશે, તેમના ચહેરા ઉપર ઝિલ્લત હશે; અલ્લાહથી તેમને બચાવનાર કોઇ ન હશે, જાણે કે તેમના ચહેરાઓ પર કાળી અંધારી રાતનો પરદો નાખી દેવામાં આવ્યો હશે; તેઓ જ જહન્નમવાસીઓ છે, જેમાં તેઓ હંમેશા રહેશે.
[به خاطر بياوريد] روزى را كه همه آن‌ها را جمع مى‌كنيم، سپس به مشركان مى‌گوييم: «شما و معبودهايتان [هركدام] در جاى خودتان باشيد» سپس آن‌ها را [براى حساب] از هم جدا مى‌سازيم، و معبودهايشان [به آن‌ها] مى‌گويند: «شما هرگز ما را عبادت نمى‌كرديد»!
And on the day when We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Keep where you are, you and your associates; then We shall separate them widely one from another and their associates would say: It was not us that you served:
અને તે દિવસે કે જ્યારે અમે તે બધાને ભેગા કરશું પછી જેઓ શિર્ક કરતા હતા તેમને કહીશું કે તમે તથા તમારા શરીકો પોત પોતાની જગ્યાએ રહો, પછી (હિસાબ માટે) અમે તેમની વચ્ચે એક મોટી જુદાઇ નાખશું, અને તેમના શરીકો (તેઓને) કહેશે કે તમે અમારી ઇબાદત કરતા ન હતા.
آن‌ها در پاسخ مى‌گويند:) همين بس كه خدا ميان ما و شما گواه باشد، اگر ما از عبادت شما غافل بوديم!
Therefore Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your serving (us).
બસ અમારી અને તમારી વચ્ચે અલ્લાહ ગવાહી માટે કાફી છે કે અમે તમારી ઇબાદતથી તદ્દન ગાફિલ હતા.
در آنجا، هركس عملى را كه قبلاً انجام داده است، مى‌آزمايد. و همگى به‌سوى خداوند يگانه كه مولا و سرپرست حقيقى آن‌هاست بازگردانده مى‌شوند؛ و چيزهايى را كه به دروغ همتاى خدا قرارداده بودند، از نظرشان گم و نابود مى‌شوند.
There shall every soul become acquainted with what it sent before, and they shall be brought back to Allah, their true Patron, and what they devised shall escape from them.
તે વખતે દરેક ઇન્સાન પોતાના આમાલનો સ્વાદ ચાખશે અને તેઓને તેમના હકીકી સરપરસ્ત અલ્લાહ તરફ પાછા ફેરવવામાં આવશે અને જે કાંઇ તેઓએ જૂઠા શરીકો બનાવ્યા હતા તે તેમનાથી દૂર થઇ જશે.
