سورة ص
Sad
و به خاطر بياور بنده‌ی ما ايّوب را، هنگامى‌كه پروردگارش را خواند [و گفت: پروردگارا! شيطان مرا به رنج و عذاب افكنده است.
And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment.
અને અમારા બંદા અય્યુબને યાદ કરો, જયારે તેણે પોતાના પરવરદિગારને પોકાર્યો હતો કે બેશક શયતાને મને ગમ અને મુશ્કેલીમાં સપડાવી દીધો.*
[به او گفتيم]: پاى خود را بر زمين بكوب؛ [تا چشمه‌اى ظاهر گردد] اين آبى خنك براى شستشو و نوشيدن است.
Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink.
(ત્યારે અમોએ કહ્યું કે) ઝમીન પર તારા પગને માર, જૂઓ આ નહાવા અને પીવા માટે ઠંડુ પાણી છે.
و خانواده‌اش را به او بخشيديم و همانند آن‌ها را بر آنان افزوديم، تا رحمتى از سوى ما باشد و تذكّرى براى خردمندان.
And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding.
અને અમોએ અમારી રહેમતના કારણે તેને તેના બાલ બચ્ચાં અતા કર્યા, અને એની જેટલા બીજા પણ આપ્યા, જેથી અક્કલમંદો માટે નસીહત બને.
[و به او گفتيم]: بسته‌اى از ساقه [هاى گندم مانند آن] را برگير و با آن [به همسرت] بزن و سوگند خود را مشكن. ما او را شكيبا يافتيم؛ چه بنده‌ی خوبى كه بسيار توبه‌كننده بود!
And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah).
(કસમ પૂરી કરવા માટે કહ્યુ) કે સળીનો જૂડો લઇને તેના વડે માર, તારી કસમ ન તોડ અમે તેને સબ્ર કરનાર પામ્યો, કેટલો નેક અને તોબા કરનાર બંદો હતો!
و به خاطر بياور بندگان ما ابراهيم و اسحاق و يعقوب را، صاحبان قدرت و بصيرت.
And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight.
અને અમારા બંદા ઇબ્રાહીમ તથા ઇસ્હાક તથા યાકૂબને યાદ કર, જેઓ કુદરતમંદ અને બસીરતવાળા હતા.
ما آن‌ها را با خلوص ويژه‌اى خالص گردانيم، كه همان يادآورى سراى آخرت بود.
Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode.
બેશક અમોએ તેને ખાસ (આખેરતના) ઘરને યાદ રાખનાર ખાલિસ બનાવ્યો.
و آن‌ها نزد ما از برگزيدگان و نيكان بودند.
And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best.
અને બેશક તેઓ અમારી પાસે પસંદ કરેલા (ચૂંટી કાઢેલા) અને નેક બંદાઓમાંથી હતા.
و به خاطر بياور اسماعيل و اليسع و ذوالكفل راكه همه از نيكان بودند.
And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best.
અને ઇસ્માઇલ તથા યસ્આ તથા ઝુલકિફલને યાદ કર; અને તે બધા નેક બંદાઓમાંથી હતાં.
اين يك يادآورى است و به يقين براى پرهيزگاران فرجام نيكويى است.
This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil),
આ એક યાદી (નસીહત) છે, અને પરહેઝગારો માટે બહેતરીન બાઝગશ્ત (પાછું ફરવું) છે :
[همان] باغ‌هاى جاويدان بهشتى كه درهايش به روى آنان گشوده است.
The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them.
હંમેશાની જન્નતો જેના દરવાજા તેમના માટે ખુલ્લા હશે.
