سورة آل عمران
Aal I Imran
خداوند، سخن آن‌ها (گروهى از يهود) را كه گفتند: «خدا فقير است، و ما بى‌نيازيم»، شنيد! به‌زودى آنچه را گفتند، و [نيز] كشتن پيامبران را به ناحق، خواهيم نوشت؛ و به آن‌ها خواهيم گفت: «بچشيد عذاب سوزان را»!
Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich. I will record what they say, and their killing the prophets unjustly, and I will say: Taste the chastisement of burning.
ખરેખર અલ્લાહે તે લોકોની વાતો સાંભળી છે જેમણે કહ્યું કે અલ્લાહ તો ફકીર છે, અને અમે તવંગર છીએ; તેમણે જે કાંઈ કહ્યું છે તે અને તેમનું નબીઓને નાહક મારી નાખવું અમે જરૂર લખી લઈએ છીએ, અને અમે કહીશું કે ધગધગતી આગની સજાની મજા ચાખો.
اين به خاطر كارهايى است كه با دست خود از پيش فرستاده‌ايد و اينكه خداوند، نسبت به بندگان [خود]، هرگز ستم روا نمى‌دارد.
This is for what your own hands have sent before and because Allah is not in the least unjust to the servants.
તમારા હાથોએ અગાઊ મોકલેલ (બૂરાઇ) માટે આ (સજા) છે અને અલ્લાહ બંદાઓના હકમાં ઝુલમગાર નથી.
[اين‌ها همان] كسانى [هستند] كه گفتند: «خداوند از ما پيمان‌گرفته كه به هيچ پيامبرى ايمان نياوريم تا [به‌عنوان معجزه] يك قربانى بياورد، كه آتش [صاعقه] آن را بسوزاند»! بگو:«پيامبرانى پيش از من، براى شما آمدند؛ و دلايل روشن، و آنچه را گفتيد آوردند؛ اگر راست مى‌گوييد چرا آن‌ها را به قتل رسانديد»؟!
(Those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any apostle until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you apostles before me with clear arguments and with that which you demand; why then did you kill them if you are truthful?
જેઓ આ કહે છે કે અલ્લાહે અમારી પાસેથી વચન લઈ લીધું છે કે અમે કોઈ પણ રસૂલ પર ઈમાન ન લાવીએ, જ્યાં સુધી કે તે (રસૂલ) અમારી સામે એવી એક કુરબાની રજૂ ન કરે કે જેને (આસમાની) આગ ખાઈ જાય; તું કહે કે મારી પહેલાં (ઘણાંય) રસૂલો ખુલ્લી દલીલો લઈને તમારી પાસે આવ્યા હતા અને તમે જે કાંઈ કહો છો તે પણ લાવ્યા હતા જો તમે સાચા છો તો પછી તમોએ તેમને શા માટે કતલ કર્યા?
پس اگر [اين بهانه‌جويان] تو را تكذيب‌كنند، [چيز تازه‌اى نيست] پيامبران پيش از تو [نيز] تكذيب شدند؛ [پيامبرانى] كه دلايل آشكار، و نوشته‌هاى متين و محكم، و كتاب روشنى‌بخش آورده بودند.
But if they reject you, so indeed were rejected before you apostles who came with clear arguments and scriptures and the illuminating book.
પછી પણ જો તેઓ તને જૂઠલાવે તો તારી પહેલાં પણ રસૂલોને જૂઠલાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા કે જેઓ રોશન દલીલો તથા હિકમત ભરેલા લખાણો તથા રોશન કિતાબ લાવ્યા હતા.
هر انسانى مرگ را مى‌چشد؛ و شما پاداش خود را به‌طور كامل در روز قيامت خواهيد گرفت؛ و هركس از آتش [دوزخ] دورشده، و به بهشت وارد شود، نجات يافته و رستگار شده است و زندگى دنيا، چيزى جز مايه‌ی فريب نيست.
Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed far away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained the object; and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of vanities.
દરેક નફસ મૌતની મજા ચાખનાર છે; અને કયામતના દિવસે તમને મુકમ્મલ અજ્ર આપવામાં આવશે; માટે જે કોઈ જહન્નમની આગથી બચાવી લેવામાં આવ્યો અને જન્નતમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યો, ખરે જ તે કામ્યાબ થયો; અને દુનિયાનું જીવન ધોકો આપનાર માઘ્યમ સિવાય બીજાં કાંઈ જ નથી.
به يقين [همه‌ی شما] در اموال و جان‌هاى خود، آزمايش مى‌شويد! و از كسانى كه پيش از شما به آن‌ها كتاب آسمانى داده‌شده و از مشركان، سخنان آزاردهنده فراوان خواهيد شنيد. و اگر استقامت كنيد و تقوا پيشه سازيد، [شايسته‌تر است؛ زيرا] اين [استقامت و تقوا] از كارهاى مهمّ است.
You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon.
તમને તમારા માલ અને જાનથી જરૂર અજમાવવામાં આવશે,* અને તમારી પહેલાં જે લોકોને કિતાબ આપવામાં આવી છે તેમનાથી અને જેઓ શિર્ક કરનારા થઈ ગયા છે તેમનાથી તમે ઘણીયે દુ:ખદાયક વાતો જરૂર સાંભળશો; પણ જો તમે સબ્ર કરશો તથા પરહેઝગાર રહેશો તો બેશક તે મજબૂત (ઇરાદાવાળા) કામોમાંથી છે.
و [به خاطر بياوريد] هنگامى را كه خدا، از كسانى كه كتاب آسمانى به آن‌ها داده‌شده، پيمان گرفت كه حتماً آن را براى مردم آشكار سازيد و كتمان نكنيد! ولى آن‌ها، آن را پشت سر افكندند؛ و به بهاى ناچيزى فروختند؛ و چه بد متاعى مى‌خرند؟!
And when Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it behind their backs and took a small price for it; so evil is that which they buy.
અને જયારે જેમને કિતાબ આપવામાં આવી હતી તેમની પાસેથી અલ્લાહે વચન લીધું કે તમે તે (કિતાબ)ને લોકો સામે જરૂર વાઝેહ રીતે બયાન કરજો તથા તેને સંતાડજો નહિ! પરંતુ તેમણે આ (વચન)ને પીઠ પાછળ ફેંકી દીધુ તથા તેના બદલામાં નજીવી કિંમત લઈ લીધી; કેટલી ખરાબ (વસ્તુ) છે જે તેઓ ખરીદી રહ્યા છે!
گمان مبرآن‌ها كه از اعمال [زشت] خود خوشحال مى‌شوند، و دوست دارند در برابر كار [نيكى] كه انجام نداده‌اند مورد ستايش قرارگيرند، از عذاب [الهى] بركنارند. [بلكه] براى آن‌ها، عذاب دردناكى است!
Do not think those who rejoice for what they have done and love that they should be praised for what they have not done-- so do by no means think them to be safe from the chastisement, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
એવું ગુમાન ન કરો કે જે લોકો પોતાના કાર્યો પર ખુશ થાય છે અને ચાહે છે કે એવા (નેક) કાર્યો બદલ તેઓના વખાણ કરવામાં આવે જે તેઓએ નથી કર્યા, તેઓ અઝાબથી દૂર છે પરંતુ તેઓ માટે દર્દનાક અઝાબ છે.
و حكومت و مالكيت آسمان‌ها و زمين، از آن خداست؛ و خدا بر هر چيزى تواناست.
And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Allah has power over all things.
અને તમામ આકાશો તથા ઝમીનની બાદશાહત અલ્લાહને માટે જ છે; અને અલ્લાહ દરેક વસ્તુ પર કુદરત ધરાવનાર છે.
به يقين در آفرينش آسمان‌ها و زمين، و آمد‌و‌شد شب‌و‌روز، نشانه‌هاى [روشنى] براى خردمندان است.
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are signs for men who understand.
બેશક આકાશો તથા ઝમીનની ખિલકતમાં અને રાત્રિ તથા દિવસના બદલાવ(ના સિલસિલા)માં અક્કલમંદો માટે કુદરતની નિશાનીઓ મોજૂદ છે;
