سورة محمد
Muhammad
اين براى آن است كه خداوند مولا و سرپرست كسانى است كه ايمان آوردند؛ امّا كافران مولايى ندارند.
That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them.
આ એ માટે કે અલ્લાહ તે લોકોનો સરપરસ્ત છે કે જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવ્યા,* અને નાસ્તિકોનો કોઇ સરપરસ્ત નથી.
خداوند كسانى را كه ايمان آوردند و اعمال صالح انجام دادند وارد باغ‌هاى بهشتى مى‌كند كه نهرها از پاى درختانش جارى است؛ در‌حالى‌كه كافران از متاع زودگذر دنيا بهره مى‌گيرند و همچون چهارپايان مى‌خورند، و سرانجام آتش دوزخ جايگاه آن‌هاست.
Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode.
બેશક જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવ્યા અને નેક આમાલ કર્યા તેમને અલ્લાહ એવી જન્નતોમાં દાખલ કરશે કે જેની હેઠળ નદીઓ વહેતી હશે; અને જે લોકોએ ઇન્કાર કર્યો તેઓ (દુન્યવી જીવનથી) ફાયદો ઊપાડે છે. તથા જાનવરોની જેમ ખાય છે અને તેમનું ઠેકાણું જહન્નમ છે.
و چه بسيار شهرهايى كه از شهر تو كه بيرونت كرد نيرومندتر بودند؛ و ما همه‌ی آن‌ها را [به سزاى اعمالشان] هلاك كرديم و هيچ ياورى نداشتند.
And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them.
અને કેટલીએ એવી વસ્તીઓ જે તમારી આ વસ્તી કે જેમણે તમને કાઢી મૂકયા તેના કરતા તાકતવર હતી, અમોએ તેને તબાહ કરી દીધી અને તેમનો કોઇ મદદગાર ન હતો.
آيا كسى كه دليل روشنى از سوى پروردگارش دارد، همانند كسى است كه زشتى اعمالش در نظرش آراسته شده و از هواى نفسشان پيروى مى‌كنند؟!
What! is he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fairseeming: and they follow their low desires.
તો શું જેની પાસે પરવરદિગાર તરફથી રોશન દલીલ મોજૂદ હોય તે તેના જેવો હોઇ શકે છે ? જેના માટે તેના બૂરા આમાલ સુશોભિત કરી દેવામાં આવ્યા હોય, અને પોતાની ખ્વાહીશાતોની તાબેદારી કરતો હોય?
وصف بهشتى كه به پرهيزگاران وعده داده شده، چنين است: در آن نهرهايى از آب صاف و خالص، و نهرهايى از شير كه طعم آن دگرگون نگشته، و نهرهايى از شراب [طهور] كه مايه‌ی لذّت نوشندگان است، و نهرهايى از عسل مصفاست، و براى آن‌ها در آن از همه‌ی انواع ميوه‌ها فراهم است؛ و [از همه بالاتر] آمرزشى است از سوى پروردگارشان! آيا اين‌ها همانند كسانى هستند كه هميشه در آتش دوزخند و از آبى داغ و سوزان نوشانده مى‌شوند كه اندرونشان را از هم متلاشى مى‌كند؟!
A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.
જેનો પરહેઝગારો સાથે વાયદો કરવામાં આવ્યો છે તે જન્નત એવી છે કે જેમાં એવી નહેરો છે જેનું પાણી ગંધાતુ નથી, એવી દૂધની નહેરો છે જેનો સ્વાદ બદલાતો નથી, એવી શરાબની નહેરો છે જે પીવાવાળાને લઝ્ઝત આપે છે અને ચોખ્ખા અને સારા મધની નહેરો છે તેમજ તેઓ માટે તેમાં દરેક પ્રકારના ફળો છે અને તેમના પરવરદિગાર તરફથી મગફેરત છે, શું આ પરહેઝગાર લોકો તે લોકો જેવા છે જે હંમેશા જહન્નમમાં રહે ? અને જેમને ગરમ પાણી પીવડાવવામાં આવે કે જે તેઓના આંતરડાને ટૂકડે ટૂકડા કરી નાખે!
گروهى از آنان به سخنانت گوش فرا مى‌دهند، امّا هنگامى‌كه از نزد تو خارج مى‌شوند به كسانى كه دانش به آنان بخشيده شده [از روى استهزا] مى‌گويند: «[اين مرد] اكنون چه گفت»؟! آن‌ها كسانى هستند كه خداوند بر دل‌هايشان مُهر نهاده و از هواى نفسشان پيروى كرده‌اند [ازاين‌رو چيزى نمى‌فهمند].
And there are those of them who seek to listen to you, until when they go forth from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: What was it that he said just now? These are they upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal and they follow their low desires.
અને તેઓમાંથી કેટલાક એવા છે જે તારી વાતને ઘ્યાનથી સાંભળે છે અને પછી તારી પાસેથી બહાર નીકળે ત્યારે જેમને ઇલ્મ આપવામાં આવ્યું છે તેમને સવાલ કરે છે કે હમણાં તેણે શું કહ્યું?! આ એ જ લોકો છે કે જેમના દિલો પર અલ્લાહે મહોર મારી દીધી છે, તથા તેઓ પોતાની ખ્વાહીશાતોની પેરવી કરી છે.
كسانى كه هدايت يافته‌اند، [خداوند] بر هدايتشان مى‌افزايد و روح تقوا به آنان مى‌بخشد.
And (as for) those who follow the right direction, He increases them in guidance and gives them their guarding (against evil).
અને જેમણે હિદાયત મેળવી લીધી, (ખુદાએ) તેમની હિદાયતમાં વધારો કરી દીધો અને તેમને (વધુ) પરહેઝગારી અતા કરી.
آيا كافران جز اين انتظارى دارند كه قيامت ناگهان به‌سراغشان آيد [آنگاه ايمان آورند]، در‌حالى‌كه هم‌اكنون نشانه‌هاى آن آمده است؛ امّا هنگامى‌كه به‌سراغ آن‌ها بيايد، ايمان آن‌ها چه سودى خواهد داشت.
Do they then wait for aught but the hour that it should come to them all of a sudden? Now indeed the tokens of it have (already) come, but how shall they have their reminder when it comes on them?
શું તેઓ (કયામતની) ઘડીનો* ઇન્તેઝાર કરે છે કે તે ઓચિંતી તેમની પાસે આવી જાય? જો કે તેની નિશાનીઓ આવી ચૂકી છે, અને જ્યારે તે આવી જશે ત્યારે તેઓને નસીહત હાંસિલ કરવાથી શુ ફાયદો થશે?
پس بدان‌كه معبودى جز «خداوند يگانه» نيست؛ و براى گناه خود و مردان و زنان با ايمان آمرزش بخواه. و خداوند گذرگاه و قرارگاه شما را مى‌داند.
So know that there is no god but Allah, and, ask protection for your fault and for the believing men and the believing women; and Allah knows the place of your returning and the place of your abiding.
માટે જાણી લો કે અલ્લાહના સિવાય કોઇ માઅબૂદ નથી, અને તું તારા માટે અને ઇમાનદાર મર્દો તથા ઔરતો માટે ઇસ્તિગફાર કર, અલ્લાહ તમારા હરવા ફરવા અને રહેવાની જગ્યાને જાણે છે.
كسانى كه ايمان آورده‌اند مى‌گويند: «چرا سوره‌اى نازل نمى‌شود [كه در آن فرمان جهاد باشد]»؟! امّا هنگامى‌كه سوره‌اى محكم [و روشنى] نازل مى‌گردد و در آن سخنى از جنگ است، منافقان بيماردل را مى‌بينى كه همچون كسى كه در آستانه‌ی مرگ قرار گرفته به تو نگاه مى‌كنند؛ پس چه بهتر كه آن‌ها بميرند!
And those who believe say: Why has not a chapter been revealed? But when a decisive chapter is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein you see those in whose hearts is a disease look to you with the look of one fainting because of death. Woe to them then!
અને મોમીનો કહે છે શા માટે (જેહાદ માટે) કોઇ સૂરો નાઝિલ થતો નથી? પરંતુ જ્યારે સૂરો નાઝિલ થાય છે જેમા જેહાદની વાત હોય છે ત્યારે જેમના દિલમાં બિમારી છે તેઓ તારી તરફ એવી રીતે જૂએ છે જાણે તેમના ઉપર મોતની બેહોશી છવાઇ ગઇ હોય, તેઓ મોતને જ લાયક છે!
