سورة الإسراء
Al Isra / Bani Israil
يا باغى از نخل و انگور از آن تو باشد و در لابه‌لاى آن نهرها جارى سازى.
Or you should have a garden of palms and grapes in the midst of which you should cause rivers to flow forth, gushing out.
અથવા તારી પાસે ખજૂરો અને દ્રાક્ષોની વાડી હોય, જેની વચ્ચે તું નદીઓ વહેવડાવી દે:
يا قطعات [سنگ‌هاى] آسمان را آنچنان‌كه مى‌پندارى، بر سر ما فرود آرى! يا خداوند و فرشتگان را در برابر ما بياورى!
Or you should cause the heaven to come down upon us in pieces as you think, or bring Allah and the angels face to face (with us).
અથવા જેવી રીતે તમારૂ ગુમાન છે તે રીતે આસમાનને ટુકડે ટુકડા કરી અમારા ઉપર તોડી પાડ અથવા અલ્લાહને તથા તેના ફરિશ્તાઓને (અમારી) રૂબરૂ લાવી ઊભા કરી દે:
يا براى تو خانه‌اى [پر نقش و نگار] از طلا باشد، يا به آسمان بالا روى و حتّى اگر به آسمان روى، ايمان نمى‌آوريم مگر آنكه نامه‌اى [از سوى خدا] بر ما فرود آورى كه آن را بخوانيم». بگو:«منزّه است پروردگارم [از اين سخنان بى‌معنا]! مگر من جز انسانى فرستاده [از سوى خدا] هستم»؟!
Or you should have a house of gold, or you should ascend into heaven, and we will not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us a book which we may read. Say: Glory be to my Lord; am I aught but a mortal apostle?
અથવા તારા માટે એક સોનાનો મહેલ હોય અથવા તું આસમાનમાં ચઢી જાય; અને અમે તારા ચઢી જવા છતાંય હરગિઝ ઇમાન નહિ લાવીએ જ્યાં સુધી કે અમારા પર એક એવુ લખાણ નાઝિલ કરે કે જેને અમે વાંચીએ; તું કહે કે મારો પરવરદિગાર પાક છે, શું હું એક પયગામ પહોંચાડનાર ઇન્સાન સિવાય કાંઇ છું?
تنها چيزى كه بعد از آمدن هدايت، مانع شد مردم ايمان بياورند، اين بود كه [از روى نادانى و بى‌خبرى] گفتند: «آيا خداوند بشرى را به‌عنوان رسول فرستاده است»؟!
And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: What! has Allah raised up a mortal to be an apostle?
લોકો પાસે હિદાયત આવી ગયા બાદ, કોઇ એક વસ્તુએ તેમને રોકયા નથી, સિવાય કે તેઓ કહેવા લાગ્યા કે : શું અલ્લાહે એક ઇન્સાનને રસૂલ તરીકે મોકલ્યો છે?
بگو: « [آرى]! اگر در روى زمين فرشتگانى [زندگى مى‌كردند، و] باآرامش گام بر مى‌‌داشتند، ما فرشته‌اى را از آسمان به‌عنوان رسول، بر آن‌ها مى‌فرستاديم»؛ [چراكه رهنماى هر گروهى بايد از جنس خودشان باشد].
Say: Had there been in the earth angels walking about as settlers, We would certainly have sent down to them from the heaven an angel as an apostle.
તું કહે કે અગર આ ઝમીન પર ફરિશ્તાઓ રહેતા અને ચાલતા ફરતા હોત તો જરૂર અમે આસમાન પરથી એક ફરિશ્તાને રસૂલ તરીકે મોકલતે.
بگو:«همين بس كه خداوند، ميان من و شما گواه باشد، چراكه او نسبت به بندگانش آگاه و بيناست».
Say: Allah suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is Aware of His servants, Seeing.
તું કહે : મારી અને તમારી વચ્ચે ગવાહી આપવા માટે અલ્લાહ કાફી છે, કારણકે તે પોતાના બંદાઓની હાલતને જાણનાર (તથા) જોનાર છે.
هركس را خدا هدايت كند، هدايت‌يافته [ی واقعى] اوست و كسانى را كه [به سبب اعمالشان] گمراه سازد، سرپرستانى [هدايت‌كننده] غير خدا براى آن‌ها نخواهى يافت و روز قيامت، آن‌ها را بر صورت‌هايشان محشور مى‌كنيم، درحالى‌كه نابينا و گنگ و كرند، جايگاهشان دوزخ است؛ هرزمان آتش آن فرونشيند، شعله‌ی سوزانى بر آنان مى‌افزاييم!
And whomsoever Allah guides, he is the follower of the right way, and whomsoever He causes to err, you shall not find for him guardians besides Him; and We will gather them together on the day of resurrection on their faces, blind and dumb and deaf; their abode is hell; whenever it becomes allayed We will add to their burning.
અને જેની અલ્લાહ હિદાયત કરે છે, તે હિદાયત પામેલ છે, અને જેને તે ગુમરાહ કરી દે છે, પછી તેમના માટે તેના સિવાય તું બીજા કોઇ વલી જોશે નહિં; અને કયામતના દિવસે અમે તેમને એક સાથે ઊંધા મોઢે મહેશૂર કરીશું એવી હાલતમાં કે તેઓ આંધળા, મૂંગા અને બહેરા હશે;* તેમનું ઠેકાણું જહન્નમ છે. જયારે તે (જહન્નમની આગ) ખામોશ થશે, ત્યારે અમે તેની જ્વાળાઓ વધારી દઇશુ.
اين كيفر آن‌هاست، به خاطر اينكه نسبت به آيات ما كافر شدند و گفتند: «آيا هنگامى‌كه ما استخوان‌هاى پوسيده و خاك‌هاى پراكنده‌اى شديم، آيا بار ديگر آفرينش تازه‌اى خواهيم يافت»؟!
This is their retribution because they disbelieved in Our communications and said What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then indeed be raised up into a new creation?
તેઓની આ સજા અમારી આયતોને જૂઠલાવવાના કારણે હશે અને કહ્યું કે જયારે અમે હાડકાં અને સડેલી માટી બની જઇશું ત્યારે શું અમને ફરી જીવંત કરી ઉઠાડવામાં આવશે?
آيا نمى‌دانند خدايى كه آسمان‌ها و زمين را آفريده، قادر است مثل آنان را بيافريند [و به زندگى جديد بازشان گرداند]؟! و براى آنان سرآمدى قطعى كه شكى در آن نيست قرار داده؛ امّا ستمكاران، جز كفر و انكار را ابا داشتند.
Do they not consider that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, is able to create their like, and He has appointed for them a doom about which there is no doubt? But the unjust do not consent to aught but denying.
શું તેઓ નથી જોતા કે બેશક અલ્લાહ કે જેણે આકાશો તથા ઝમીનને પૈદા કર્યા છે, તેમના જેવા જ બીજા (ઝમીન આસમાન) પણ પૈદા કરવાની કુદરત ધરાવે છે ? અને તેણે તેમના માટે એક મુદ્દત નક્કી કરી દીધી છે જેમાં કોઇ પ્રકારની શંકા નથી; છતાંય આ ઝાલિમો નાસ્તિકપણા સિવાય (દરેક ચીઝ)નો ઇન્કાર કરે છે.
بگو: «اگر شما مالك خزاين رحمت پروردگار من بوديد. درآن صورت، [به‌خاطر تنگ‌نظرى] امساك مى‌كرديد، مبادا انفاق مايه‌ی تنگدستى شما شود». و انسان تنگ‌نظر است.
Say: If you control the treasures of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold (them) from fear of spending, and man is niggardly.
તું કહે: અગર તમે મારા પરવરદિગારની રહેમતના ખઝાનાનો ઇખ્તેયાર રાખતા હોત તો તે હાલતમાં પણ ખર્ચાઇ જવાના ડરથી તમે કંજૂસાઇ કરતે; અને ઇન્સાન છે જ કંજૂસ.
