سورة مريم
Maryam
و در اين كتاب از موسى ياد كن، كه او خالص شده و رسول و پيامبر [والامقامى] بود.
And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet.
અને આ કિતાબમાં મૂસાનો ઝિક્ર કર; કારણકે તે મુખલીસ (નિખાલસ) હતો તથા એક રસૂલ અને નબી હતો.
ما او را از جانب راست [كوه] طور فرا خوانديم؛ و [همچون] نجوا‌كننده او را [به خود] نزديك ساختيم.
And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us).
અને તેને અમોએ તૂર (પર્વત)ની જમણી બાજૂથી અવાજ કર્યો, અને અમોએ તેને રાઝની વાતો કરવા માટે વધુ નજદીક લાવ્યા.
و ما از رحمت خود، برادرش هارون را كه پيامبر بود به او بخشيديم.
And We gave to him out of Our mercy his brother Haroun a prophet.
અને અમોએ અમારી રહેમતથી તેને તેના ભાઇ હારૂન નબીને અતા કર્યો.
و در اين كتاب از اسماعيل [نيز] ياد كن، كه او در وعده‌اش صادق، و رسول و پيامبرى [بزرگ] بود.
And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet.
અને આ કિતાબમાં ઇસ્માઇલનો ઝિક્ર કર કે જે તે વાયદાને પાળનાર હતા અને રસૂલ તથા નબી હતા.
او همواره خانواده‌اش را به نماز و زكات فرمان مى‌داد؛ و پيوسته مورد رضايت پروردگارش بود.
And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.
અને તે સતત પોતાના કુટુંબીઓને નમાઝનો તથા ઝકાતનો હુકમ આપતા હતા અને તેનો પરવરદિગાર તેનાથી રાજી હતો.
و در اين كتاب، از ادريس [نيز] ياد كن، او بسيار راستگو و پيامبر [بزرگى] بود.
And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet,
અને આ કિતાબમાં ઇદરીસનો ઝિક્ર કર કે જે બહુજ સાચુ બોલનાર નબી હતા.
و ما او را به مقام والايى رسانديم.
And We raised him high in Heaven.
અને અમો તેને બુલંદ મકામ પર લઇ ગયા.
آن‌ها پيامبرانى بودند از فرزندان آدم، و از كسانى كه با نوح [بركشتى] سوار كرديم، و از دودمان ابراهيم و يعقوب، و از كسانى كه هدايت كرديم و برگزيديم، كسانى‌كه خداوند مشمول نعمتشان قرار داده بود، هنگامى‌كه آيات خداوند رحمان بر آنان خوانده مى‌شد به خاك مى‌افتادند، در‌حالى‌كه سجده مى‌كردند و گريان بودند.
These are they on whom Allah bestowed favors, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the communications of the Beneficent Allah were recited to them, they fell down making obeisance and weeping.
આ એજ નબીઓ છે કે જેમના પર અલ્લાહે નેઅમતો નાઝિલ કરી કે જેઓ આદમની ઔલાદમાંથી હતા, કે જેમને અમે નૂહની સાથે હોડીમાં સવાર કર્યા હતા તથા જેઓ ઇબ્રાહીમ અને ઇસરાઇલની ઔલાદમાંથી હતા, કે જેમને અમોએ હિદાયત કરી અને ચૂંટી કાઢયા,* જયારે તેમની સામે રહેમાન ખુદાની આયતો પઢવામાં આવતી ત્યારે તેઓ રૂદન કરતા સિજદામાં પડી જતા.
امّا پس از آنان، فرزندان ناشايسته‌اى جاى آن‌ها را گرفتند كه نماز را تباه كرده، و از شهوات پيروى نمودند؛ و به‌زودى [مجازات] گمراهى [خود] را خواهند ديد!
But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition,
પરંતુ તેમના બાદ એવા લોકો આવ્યા કે જેમણે નમાઝને બરબાદ કરી અને શેહવતોની પેરવી કરી, જલ્દી તેઓ ગુમરાહીને જોશે.
مگر آنان‌كه توبه كنند، و ايمان بياورند، و كارى شايسته انجام دهند؛ چنين كسانى داخل بهشت مى‌شوند، و كمترين ستمى به آنان نخواهد شد.
Except such as repent and believe and do good, these shall enter the garden, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly in any way:
સિવાય તેમના કે જેઓ તૌબા કરે તથા ઇમાન લાવે તથા નેક અમલ કરે, તો એ જ લોકો જન્નતમાં દાખલ થશે, અને તેમના પર લેશમાત્ર પણ ઝુલ્મ કરવામાં નહિ આવે.
