Sad
آيا خبر شاكيان هنگامى‌كه از محراب [داود] بالا رفتند به تو رسيده است؟!
And has there come to you the story of the litigants, when they made an entry into the private chamber by ascending over the walls?
અને શું તમારી પાસે તે ફરિયાદીઓની ખબર પહોંચી છે કે જેઓ મહેરાબની દિવાલ કૂદીને આવ્યા હતાં?!
درآن‌هنگام كه [بى‌مقدّمه] بر داود وارد شدند و او از ديدن آن‌ها وحشت كرد؛ گفتند: «نترس! دو نفر شاكى هستيم كه يكى از ما بر ديگرى ستم كرده، اكنون در ميان ما به‌حق داورى كن و سخن ناروا مگو و ما رابه راه راست هدايت كن.
When they entered in upon Dawood and he was frightened at them, they said: Fear not; two litigants, of whom one has acted wrongfully towards the other, therefore decide between us with justice, and do not act unjustly, and guide us to the right way.
જયારે તેઓ દાવૂદ પાસે હાજર થયા ત્યારે તેઓ ખૌફઝદા (ભયભિત) થયા. (જેથી) તેમણે કહ્યું કે (અય દાવૂદ!) ડર નહી; અમે બંને પક્ષકારો છીએ, અમારામાંથી એકે બીજા ઉપર ઝુલ્મ કર્યો છે, માટે તું અમારી વચ્ચે હક સાથે ફેંસલો કરી આપ, અને (તેમ કરવામાં) કોઇ પ્રકારની નાઇન્સાફી ન કર, અને અમને સીધા રસ્તાની હિદાયત કર.
اين برادر من است، او نودونه ميش دارد و من [تنها] يك ميش دارم؛ امّا او اصرار مى‌كند كه؛ اين را [نيز] به من واگذار و در سخن بر من غلبه كرده است.
Surely this is my brother; he has ninety-nine ewes and I have a single ewe; but he said: Make it over to me, and he has prevailed against me in discourse.
બેશક આ મારો ભાઇ છે; તેની પાસે નવ્વાણું ઘેટીઓ છે, અને મારી પાસે એક જ ઘેટી છે; તે કહે છે કે તે એક ઘેટી પણ મને સોંપી દે, અને વાતચીતમાં મને મગલૂબ કરી દીધો છે.
[داود] گفت: «به يقين او با درخواست ميش تو براى افزودن آن به ميش‌هايش، بر تو ستم نموده و بسيارى از شريكان [و دوستان] به يكديگر ستم مى‌كنند، مگر كسانى كه ايمان آورده و اعمال صالح انجام داده‌اند؛ امّا عدّه‌ی آنان كم است». داود دانست كه ما او را [با اين ماجرا] آزموده‌ايم، ازاين‌رو از پروردگارش طلب آمرزش نمود و به سجده افتاد و توبه كرد.
He said: Surely he has been unjust to you in demanding your ewe (to add) to his own ewes; and most surely most of the partners act wrongfully towards one another, save those who believe and do good, and very few are they; and Dawood was sure that We had tried him, so he sought the protection of his Lord and he fell down bowing and turned time after time (to Him).
દાવૂદે કહ્યું તેણે પોતાની ઘેંટીઓ ઊપરાંત તારી ઘેંટી માંગીને તારા પર ઝુલ્મ કર્યો છે, અને ઘણાં ભાગીદારો આ પ્રકારના છે કે તેમાંથી એક બીજા ઉપર ઝુલ્મ કરે છે, સિવાય તે લોકોના કે જેઓ ઇમાન લાવ્યા અને નેક અમલ કર્યા પરંતુ તેઓ ઘણાં ઓછા છે અને દાવૂદ સમજયા કે અમોએ તેની અજમાઇશ કરી છે તેથી તેણે પોતાના પરવરદિગાર પાસે માફી માંગી અને સિજદામાં પડી ગયા, અને માફી માંગી.
ما اين عمل را بر او بخشيديم و او نزد ما داراى مقامى والا و سرانجامى نيكو است.
Therefore We rectified for him this, and most surely he had a nearness to Us and an excellent resort.
અમોએ તેને માફ કરી દીધો; અને બેશક અમારી પાસે તેનો ખાસ મરતબો અને બહેતરીન અંજામ છે.
اى داود! ما تو را خليفه [و نماينده‌ی خود] در زمين قرار داديم؛ پس در ميان مردم به حق داورى كن و از هواى نفس پيروى مكن كه تو را از راه خدا منحرف سازد؛ كسانى كه از راه خدا گمراه شوند، عذاب شديدى به خاطر فراموش كردن روز حساب دارند!
o Dawood! surely We have made you a ruler in the land; so judge between men with justice and do not follow desire, lest it should lead you astray from the path of Allah; (as for) those who go astray from the path of Allah, they shall surely have a severe punishment because they forgot the day of reckoning.
અય દાવૂદ અમોએ તને ઝમીનમાં અમારો ખલીફા બનાવ્યો છે, તેથી લોકો વચ્ચે ઇન્સાફથી ફેસલો કરો, અને (અયોગ્ય) ઇચ્છાની પૈરવી ન કરો, કે તને રાહે ખુદાથી ગુમરાહ કરી નાખે હકીકતમાં હિસાબનો દિવસ ભૂલવાને કારણે અલ્લાહના રસ્તેથી ગુમરાહ થનાર માટે સખ્ત અઝાબ છે.
ما آسمان و زمين و آنچه را ميان آن‌ها است بيهوده نيافريديم؛ اين گمان كافران است، واى بر كافران از آتش [دوزخ]!
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire.
અને આસમાન તથા ઝમીન અને તે બંને વચ્ચે જે કાંઇ છે તેને બેકાર નથી પેદા કર્યા, આ ફકત નાસ્તિકોનુ ગુમાન છે. વાય થાય નાસ્તિકો ઊપર કે જેઓ આગને લાયક છે
آيا كسانى را كه ايمان آورده و كارهاى شايسته انجام داده‌اند همچون مفسدان در زمين قرار دهيم، يا پرهيزگاران را همچون فاجران؟!
Shall We treat those who believe and do good like the mischief-makers in the earth? Or shall We make those who guard (against evil) like the wicked?
શું જે લોકો ઇમાન લાવ્યા અને નેક આમાલ કર્યા તેમને ઝમીન પર ફસાદ કરનારાની બરાબર રાખશુ અથવા પરહેઝગારોને નાફરમાનોની બરાબર (રાખશુ)?
اين كتابى است پُربركت كه بر تو نازل كرده‌ايم تا در آيات آن تدبّر كنند و خردمندان متذكّر شوند.
(It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful.
આ એક મુબારક કિતાબ છે જે અમોએ તારી તરફ નાઝિલ કરી છે, જેથી તેની આયતોમાં તેઓ ગૌરો ફિક્ર (ચિંતન) કરે અને અક્કલમંદો નસીહત હાંસિલ કરે.
ما سليمان را به داود بخشيديم؛ چه بنده‌ی خوبى! زيرا او بسيار توبه‌كننده بود.
And We gave to Dawood Sulaiman, most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah).
અને અમોએ દાવૂદને સુલયમાન જેવો ફરઝંદ અતા કર્યો; તે એક બહેતરીન બંદો હતો, તથા વધારે તોબા કરનાર હતો.
